Morning Peeps!!

I have to double up on the old DT commitments today as I haven't felt well enough for proper crafting yet and luckily had this cutie made up on friday!

So, its time for another super fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week we are getting all outta shape!! he he he!! our challenge this week is....

Don't be Square!!
so... anything you fancy making but ...
NO SQUARES ALLOWED!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

and over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog our Nic has set the theme of

All the Trimmings!
( so think Lace, ribbon, twine)
Please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.  Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.

So to combat those 2 awesome challenges I went for a sneaker with twine laces!! he he he!! I love it!!!

Its my last post as a PFP DT today. We have a tonne of things to sort for our little Mo this year so I needed to pinch back a little time for doing all the bits that go with it! arghhhhhh!!! but hopefully once we've had his mediation meeting and found the right school things will feel a bit better. It feels like a very long road right now so I have to make cutbacks to make that feel easier for me to do but I have had the best time ever being on their team and I am still as obsessed with my promarkers as I have ever been (...just need letraset to sort out a stampers promarker now! you know..one with a fine tip and bullet nib instead of that big chunky end!!...but I've been asking them for that for 2 years now and still no luck...lol!!!)

Right, off to get some more painkillers, not feeling quite as good as I was hoping to today, Pharyngitis stinks!!!!!!!

Little Claire
Web

I made a bodge with this one at first and used too much colour in my DT make so last night a little emergency card had to be made...but lets be honest..its never bad to need to have a lil crafty time! he he!! and oh boy did my little sailor boy turn out cute.

To crop off his feet I simply taped my little die cut circle over where he was going to print out adding an extra strip of my magic selotape over the part where his little legs would be, the printer ink goes onto the seloptape and when you peel it off, there's your image cropped! easy peesy and ooooh so cute for this little circle!! my magic tape is low tack so peels off the image piece right away when you take it out of the printer, the reason this piece below has some white paper stuck on it is because I took off my image piece and left this bit of tape on the scrap piece overnight!!)

A little bit of colour, some whispy dotty clouds and wohoooo! I saved my butt just in time!! he he he!!

Right, thats me for today I promise!!
huge hugs Lou xx

Charming lilacs and lemons!!!

Stamp- Semi Sweet Sweet Tooth clear stamp set.
Promarkers-
Amethyst, Orchid and Lavender.
Mustard and Tulip Yellow.
Warm grey 1-5.
Coral,Sunkissed pink and blush.
Morning everyone!

Its a Tiddly Tuesday Challenge and a new Passion for Promarkers challenge for me today and ooooh boy was this one a scary one for me!!

Why?? because our lovely Shelly on the PFP team chose us a a challenge of ..
Lovely Lilacs and Lemons.

Crafty Sentiments are sponsoring us tomorrow and they are back to doing digital images so our prize this week is 3 digis

and the Tiddly Inks challenge is something I am waaaaay more comfortable with, he he he!!! its...
Charming.

Grab your favourite Tiddly Inks stamp or digital image and add a charm to your make!
(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image to be eligible for the prize**)

So choosing my image was super easy, I rushed out to grab my Semi Sweet clear stamp set and got busy placing her on a die cut circle. I also bent the skully border to the shape of my circle and stamped it all around the edge, I used London Fog memnto ink so I could get that light grungy kinda feel.

But the colours..oh my...there was my heart attack!! I never use these colours much...let alone together!! but I braved it! then it was time for a good old distressing so I scrunched up my pretty circle, then unfolded and inked it, then ironed it flat!! there's also some cool crackle glaze on there but I can't get it to show up in a picture!! story of my life!!!
Then I added a rose that I coloured up with my lilac promarker ( I often buy white ones so I can just match them in with my pen choices!!

I added my skully charm onto my pin and heartlessly stabbed it through....carefully pushed it through my rose and glued the little arrangement on.

The little ticket is one of the sentiment that come with Semi Sweet, I LOVE IT!!! so in the end my make felt like me!! so its ok to step out of that colour comfort zone peeps......for like 5 minutes!!!!!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!
Huge hugs Lou xxx
