I used my same old fav colour promarkers to colour her up and then layered up a few yummy papers from the Prima 'All about me' stack...ooooh its yummy and totally stroke only but I just had to use a couple of sheets!!! and talking about 'buy it and keep it yumminess' I actually managed to break out my seam binding from The Ribbon Girl...gulp...I even cut it wit scissors...yes there were small wimpers as I did it...lol!! I added a little twine bow and a aster daisy to the top just to finish it all off.

I am quite proud of myself for keeping it fairly CAS!! go me!!!

Oh and don't forget that there is a mini challenge going on over on the Saturated Canary Facebook page!! you can read about it HERE on our Facebook page.

Cupcake Thief.....

Morning peeps!!

How are you all this gorgeous monday morning? great I hope. I am still at work but I am sure it is a gorgeous day all the same! he he he he!! I will be home around 7:10am for a huge mug of espresso to keep me going for the school run and then its head to the pillow for the day when I get back!
Onto my gorgeous make for today! I do love this card, thinking of sending it to myself!!! lol!!!

I am pretty lucky because my weekend always starts with my make for my blog post here on a monday and I always totally enjoy that make. I kick back, pop spotify on and just make away whilst my little guy pootles around enjoying his saturday morning! its fab. We are early risers so then we have all day to chill and play together, I love it!!

And lets be honest if you have an awesome set of Die-Namics Blueprints 3 and a pile of stroke only, use if you must Pion papers it makes card making super easy! there are so many awesome combo's it can get on your card base for you. I adore scruffing up edges and layering, it just makes it feel all homey and cute! I was lazy this weekend and crafted at the table in our lounge so it was scissor scuffing instead of my Distrezz it all tool but the edges still look scrummy and I do so love a layered up torny bit, I think they look so neat. My friend Chris taught me how to do that a few years ago at a demo and I always think of her when I do one of these. I added a little cotton twine bow to this one.

I am popping her over on the challenge on DP2 which is lots of layers.

Right enough Lou waffles boring you over your breakfasts!!!

Thanks for popping in

Its a SOG kind day!!!

Hi peeps!!

Today I am having a pottering kinda day! you know one of those days where you just make whatever you fancy and go with the flow?! yup a kinda Spunky Sprite kinda day!!!! I love me so happy and she screamed happy at me this morning so I just had to pop her on some form of card!!!

It was very much a case of grab some papers from my stroke only pile, grab a Blueprints set with a bow die on it so I can play along with the challenge over at Papertake Weekly which is Bow Dies and just splodge it all on!! yey!!!! super fun!!

I coloured her up last week with my promarkers and a touch of sparkle, she's just adorable. You can just about make out some of the sparkle on her wings, flower in her hair and dress on this picture below, I am not sure I will ever master the showing of the sparkliness when taking bloggy pictures!!!

I added a whole tonne of little punched flowers too...I told you I was in a splodge it all on kinda mood!!! but to be honest the Dienamics Blue prints 3 set makes such a beautiful base and I really loved adding some teensy blooms to it for her to hide in!

Right, after being blurgh poorly yesterday my tummy is rumbling away for some lunch today so I am off to feed it!! Thank you so much for popping in on me

...oh yeah... I almost cried at this one!! but luckily I had a tricksie up my sleeve in the form of a gorgeous blogging friend who is a total tag queen, Catherine, oh my her tags make you drool, so I spent a good cuppa looking through her tags before I started mine!!

I printed my little Everyday Princess out 3 times so I could ra-ra up her skirt!! he he he!! oh I so used to love my ra-ra skirt when I was little!! then it was just a case of splodging it all together to make a tag!! I added a little gauze and one of the little mini topper sentiments from my paper stack.

For the top of the tag I just turned around one of the bookplates from my die set and glued it on adding a squidge of ribbon and a flower from my stash.

So pop on over to the challenge blog and drool over the rest of the girls creations, I am warning you that you may need a tissue before you go!!! the tags are just awesome and I will totally be bookmarking that one for inspiration!!!

Mo and I had our first go at making fudge last night! it was tonnes of fun!! and its super yummy too!! he wanted to make chocolate flavour so that was even better!! today I am going to pop and get some more bits so I can make a WW fudge for me!!! here's the recipe I will be using if anyone out there wants it!! and today we are on a gingerbread house! I love that he still wants to do these things with mummy at 9, I am treasuring every moment with my little guy!!

Make a scene with magnolia? ooooh yes please!!!!

coloured with promarkers.

Morning everyone!

I hope you are all waking up to magical mondays!! I just had to have a magnolia day for mine! I just love them so much, and there are a tonne of totally gorgeous papers and Doo Hickey dies to choose from too so  I thought all out Magnolia monday would be fun!!!

I was totally oooh and ahhhhh'd by my gorgeous crafty friends LindaBecky and Jenny with the Totally Tilda blogs Masking challenge so I just had to join in!!

I just let myself go with colouring her up. I masked her up with some frisket and then stamped the background over her, then whipped off the frisket and there I had a lovely little scene!!

Here is a bit more of a blingy shot to show the sparklies I added with my clear star sakura pen. She has a beautiful shimmer around her and on the flowers, fence and tree's too..

I am still practising the just a hint of colour on clothing and I love how gentle this came out, love my blender pen!!! he he he he! I went for colouring my grass and tree's with a tonne of dots, all greens and browns dotted in together.

I wanted the fence to pop out from the card so I attached it with my tiny attacher. The gauze is from my crafty stash.
...and here's a liey down oooh look at the pop picture!! he he he he!!!

She really is a sweetheart.

Right, time for a cuppa and a snuggly with Mo before school. Have a great day everyone and thank you so much for popping in on me

You Moove me......

Bazzill cardstock- Ivy and Fern.
coloured with Promarkers.
Moooo-ning everyone!!!
he he he he!! well, with a stamp as cute as this is just had to be done!!!

I am at work at the minute so I am hoping blogger is being good and posting this for me because as soon as I get home from dropping little Mo off at school I will be crashing into bed!! night shifts are awesome but that head hitting the pillow moment can't come soon enough after driving to school and back!!!

I loved making this card! I even had the best cow skin pattern paper to make the card up with and I was so excited about that! I really do love Chrissy Armstrong's animals, they are just so beautifully drawn and so easy to stamp, plus too much fun to colour!!

And I couldn't resist layering up some grassy edges along the bottom too :) I think they look so sweet and it just makes the card pop a little.

I am on a not a lot or no sentiment at all thing at the moment. I don't know why really, I just seem to of forgotten to add them recently! I can think of some supercute ones for this little cow though so I better get on it and  add one before it goes in a little plastic bag to sit on my desk forever!! lol!!

Thank you for popping in on me! I will be noseying in on you all when I get up later!!

Saturated Canary....Reader....

 Image- Reader from Saturated Canary.
Papers- MME Quilting Bee.
Morning peeps!!!

the gorgeous Saturated Canary DT have got a lovely post full of inspiration for you this morning, ooooooooh its a good one! you don't want to miss it, the creations are soooo pretty you will be drooling all over your pooter keyboard!!!

And this gorgeous little wooden plaque using 'Reader' is my make. I used some of my stroke only MME Quilting Bee papers and some flowers from my stash, a bit of gauze and a die cut heart, glued it all on in a splodgy Lou manner and voila!! she was done!!

I stepped out of the comfort zone of fussy cutting and just ripped around the edges of her and then added some distress ink, that was sooooo much fun! I am going to do that a whole lot more. She has some glossy accents on her glasses to get the real glass colour change look. I think you can just about see it on the first piccy!

The plaque is gorgeous, I got them  ages ago and they have just been sat (....admittedly under the pile of poo on my craft table and I found them the other day during the mass tidy up mission!!!) but ooooh I think I need some more now!

Right then, I best go get on! I haven't done Mo's pack up yet and Scott is at work today too (...boo for overtime :(  I love my date days with Scott :( ...more boo for overtime....) ah well, more crafty time it is then!! romfl!!

Thank you so much for fighting past the tumble weeds to come see me!!

Talk to the Bear......

Papers- MME Quilting Bee.

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!

awwwwwwww how totally cute is this little lady?!!!! I simply adore her!! I really loved colouring her up, a bit of promarker time on a sunday evening is always awesome for relaxing a Lou!!!

I have been practicing with my colouring over the last couple of weeks trying to perfect 'the not colour it all over but blend it in' thing and I love how she turned out. I made the bear all fluffstery by dotting my blender pen all over him.

Then it was time to have some fun with those gorgeous Quilting bee papers from MME, now I have to tell ya'll these papers are strictly stroke only but I just had to use them because they just walked up and made me!!! he he he he!!! but in all seriousness it took me forever to do that tear in the layer because I was sobbing at using the papers.....!!!!

I used a few of the scraps left over from my die cutting from my last card. I covered one of the little hearts with some of the paper, cut it out and then layered one of the top layer on it, cute!!! she is off to play in the Anything Goes challenge over on the DP2 challenge blog too!!!

Right, I gots to go! I have a day of snuggling and playing with the little guy before he goes back to school tomorrow. I have to say we have had the best christmas break this year. I made the conscious decision to have a crafting close down over the holidays and it was just fabulous to indulge in family time. My family is just my world and we loved spending it just doing family stuffs! yup, mostly just goofing around and giggling at my mum actually reversing her mobility scooter into into someone's motorbike and knocking it over......!! but aren't families just the best?!!!!

Have an awesome day everyone! Huge hugs Lou xx

Father and Daughter.......

Image- Father and Daughter from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Morning peeps!!
I hope you all had a lovely new year.

I had some lovely relaxing crafty time yesterday. It was such a nice day. I crafted while Mo watched Lazy town...under the chair..on the floor next to me!!!!!! Poppy was not best pleased as that is her normal spot so she snuggled under my feet instead!!

We went to my mum's for lunch with my Grandad and then had a lovely lazy afternoon at home. Scott and Mo popped out so Mo could buy himself some Tombstone Valley figures and Poppy and I did some 'Lie Down' training. She did fabulously bless her. She loves to sit on my lap! here is a picture of her yesterday afternoon showing me she still fits on my knee......sigh.......
Photo: "Mummy I do stills fit, right here on your knee......."

Anywhoo, I had a birthday card to make for a gorgeous friend of mine and this is what flowed out of my crafty little fingers!! he he he!!!

I matched my promarker colours into my papers and just let it all flow away. I love love love this image, its just beautiful and a total joy to colour.

Right, I need to find some clothes for Mo and get us sorted for a dog walk, a little fresh air first thing in the morning is just the ticket!!

huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me
