If you're happy and you know it...........

Papers- From my Pizza size 12x12 random box.
Morning all!!

It's Lou in for you today with anther one of those yummy pleated cards but this time I went for a more male version. I am sooooo in love with this pleated fold skirt thing at the minute! I just think it looks so cute and especially with the double sided papers.

This paper is from my scrumptious Pizza size 12x12 random box. It came with just over 50 sheets of random 12x12 papers and it is seriously so much fun to delve into that box because there are papers in there that I never would of thought of buying myself.

This cute october afternoon monster one is a perfect example of something I would not normally of bought but it goes so super duper well with those gorgeously cute Mama Elephant Monster Jam stamps! awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I love it...I will probably just stroke the other 2 sheets I have left of this design from the box!!!!! lol!!!!

Thank you for popping in

Bloomin Boots.....

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I had some fun with quick make because I couldn't resist having a go at the pleated fold for cards I had seen on a facebook page. They are seriously a whole tonne of fun. I am sure I will be having a play with a few more layouts with the pleated bit today!! I love the way that double sided paper shows the 2 patterns all at once, so cute!!

And oh my!! The  TE Blooming Boots sets are just fabulous!! I love the little sentiments and the matching dies just lifted the welly boot fun so much!! I love the little patterned clouds!! Here are the sets! They are linked to the shop I bought them from, Dies to Die For.

Taylored Expressions - Bloomin' BootsTaylored Expressions - Bloomin' Boots Dies

I used a 5x5 card base. The pleated part is a 4"x 12" piece of patterned paper, measure an inch up from the bottom on the left side and an inch down from the top on the right side, then trim in half diagonally from each mark. The score at 2", 3", 5", 6", 8", 9" and 11" and concertina fold. I trimmed a little piece of the shortest end once I had adhered it to my card. So much fun!!

Hope you are all having a great day,

Snuggle Bunnies...........

Hi everyone!

well, what do you do when one of your best friends has a baby and you can't decide which Snuggle Bunnies stamp set stamp to use?...... use them all of course!!! he he he!!!

They are just too cute not too so I went for making a little scene with them! they are soooo cute!

Then all I needed to do was add in a little more cuteness with scrummy papers and dies and the job was done!...and just in time too since they are coming home today!! lol!! phew!!

This week I have felt totally out of sorts. Little Mo's medication change did not go very well at all and we have popped him back on his old tablets today. He was in such a state on the new ones so sad, anxious and snappy and not himself at all so we decided they are a no. The thing is, I do not want to change my little man in any way, he is so lovely just as he is. All he needs is help to be that comfortable out of the house or when he is away from Scott or I so we have gone back to the ones he was doing quite nicely on for now. It means taking them at lunchtime but he is ok with that so for now, thats where we are going to stay. But it has been a hard few days and it has broken my heart to see him so lost. Today I am just going to try and chill to get myself through feeling bad mummy-ish. Even when it's not our fault, it so heavily feels as if it is for us allowing those tablets into his delicate little system. Its a hard place to be to disturb his world from a way he copes with it so well so cups of hot tea and a chocolate biscuit or 2 are going to get me through until I go and pick him up and see how he managed today.

Huge hugs and thank you's for popping in

Duke....

Image- Duke from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I just had to keep myself busy this morning or I might of bursted from excitement!!! (...actually...I still might!!!! one BF's baby is here, other BF's baby is really ready to be here!!! oh my!!!!!) so I thought it best to try and make something to settle myself down (...like that's gonna work say people who know me well and are probably very right!!!!!!).

But I had this cutie Duke sitting on my desk and he needed to be somethink'ed so I tried to concentrate on him!!!! He comes with an awesome saying and I had an old mojo monday sketch 127 to follow for a group on facebook I am in so I decided to make it a cute feature of the card too!!

I coloured him up so he looks like my Dasher. I don't like harsh blacks in pens so I always go for warm greys. He has the most gorgeous brown eyes so I had to get those in too.

Right, I am off now to get a bit more excited!!! honestly there's no hope for me really!!!!

Huge hugs and thank you's for popping in!!!

oh! the warm fuzzies.....

Papers- MFT Trail Mix.
Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing that Warm & Fuzzy feelin'!!!!

This Warm & Fuzzy Friends stamp set is soooooo cute!! I had so much fun just using my  to make a teensy note card, just right for tucking secretly in my lil guy's coat or trouser pocket tomorrow for the last day of his SATs.

This morning he absolutely sobbed :( it broke my heart. He is so frightened about the Math test :( but a whole tonne of mummy snuggles and a super treat of a cake in the morning before school seemed to cheer him up and he was ok when I dropped him off in the hall because it was raining.

He treated himself to this stamp set and the die set. He loves that little shape and white edge the dies give and lets be honest....mummy loves it too!!!! and we even sneaked in the  MFT Trail Mix paper pad too, but we had to have the whole shebang right?!!!!

Here's inside......

Thank you for popping in on me

Tiddly Inks challenge #182...Let your Tiddly flow!!

Image- Happy Bee Day from Tiddly Inks.
Milk carton cutfile by Lori Whitlock.
Antique Doily cutfile by Lori Whitlock.
Morning all!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this time its all about letting your creativity flow!!

This time its all about....

Let your Tiddly flow!!

So,grab your fave Tiddly Inks Fairy images/stamps and get your magic on!
Its anything goes using your tiddlies!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc

but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I decided to go with something a bit fun and made a super cute little milk carton. I used my silhouette software to cut the carton and add the little bee to the little doily circle. She is soooooo tiny!! the whole milk carton is just 3.5" high but sometimes..you just have to let your Tiddly Flow!!!!!

I have had a right faffoodle trying to get this blogged today!! blogger 502 error froze me and I kept hitting refresh to get going again only for it to phflrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr out on me 2 seconds later!! so pleased it is all back to normal. I do so love blogging.

Today I don't have too much planned. I am going to make little Mo some yummy cupcakes to cheer him up after another SATs day. He did so well not to get too anxious whilst doing them his headteacher said but it was all a bit much by the time he had got home and he cried and said it was really hard :( poor little man. I can't bear all this pressure on such fragile and inquisitive little minds, they should be nurtured, not tested and my heart goes out to their teachers who do not like SATs one little bit and don't like putting the children through them at all.

Off my soapbox now and going to make myself a little snack to stop me eating the cupcakes as they come out the oven!!

Huge hugs for you all!!

Morgan..........

Image- Morgan.
Papers- Panda Paws from Nitwit collections.
Hi everyone!!

I'm in with a make for you today using the super sweet image, Morgan. I have used this cute lil panda for a baby card. The sex of baby is an unknown yet so I matched it up with some neutral for either boy of girl papers from my yummy new download from Nitwit collections, Panda Paws .

I had so much fun making this card, there's just something magic about that image...and its not just because it was named after my little Mo I promise!! he he he!!

My little Mo is not feeling too fabulous today :( he is very worried about these silly SATs he will be going through this week which breaks my heart so badly. But I know he is being looked after well by his teachers so I am just doing my mamma job and snuggling and snuggling until he feels a bit better and I will take him a little treat after when I pick him up tonight so he feels a little boost at the end of the day. I love that little guy so much.

Right, breakfast time here, then school, then worrying all day about my pickle whilst ironing!!! oh the joys of mamma-hood!!!

Isn't she just super? I adore those little fairy lights on her antlers! Her little nose is actually all glittery and shiny but it didn't show too good in the photo!

Papers- Echo Park Pirates Life.
Afternoon all!!

Its Fab Friday over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this is my totally cute make for it.Oh how I love under the sea stuff when the weather gets warmer and it feels all summery, I just adore it!

I made the cardbase and shapes in my silhouette software. I LOVE doing this because it meant I could fill the shapes with my yummy Echo Park Pirates Life digital papers. And of course, because my octopi were .png's I just added them right on top and then added the sentiment too!! sooo cute!! and so easy to print and cut all the layers for my card!

I coloured them up and then added a little sparkle pen to the octopi because they just needed to be sparkly and cute!! he he he!!!

Thank you so much for popping in on me,

Leon.....

Stamp- Wee Stamps Leon.
Papers- MME Boy Crazy.
Morning everyone!!

I have had the most lovely long weekend, lots of playing outside with my little man and his friends and a couple of them really love little cars so for my make this week I just had to use my Wee Stamps Leon.

The cute little sentiment comes in the yummy scrummy MME Boy Crazy pad.I love this little paper pad so much, it full of different themed papers perfect for those little car/robot/space and travel themed cards.

And of course.....that DieNamics Blueprints 24 set had to pop into my big shot again!! I love the little layers pieces it gives me and oooh the little sprinkles dies are fabulous! I cut them with my scraps of paper left and then gave them a little layer over the top with glossy accents to make them look like sequins.

Right, time to get myself into gear this morning. I have to admit that after such a lovely long weekend I am struggling with the Scott and Mo going to work/school this morning. Its going to be a quiet day for this mamma :(

Thankyou for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Peter Pan...

Image- Peter Pan from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Promarkers-
Burnt orange, Coral, Sunkissed pink and Blush.
Burnt Sienna, Caramel and Sandstone.
Warm grey 5, Olive Green and Pear Green.
Morning all!

Well, I've been a busy little Lou already today!! I've woofer walked and popped Mo to the car boot sale to spend his pocket pennies from nannie. (...that boy can sniff bargain before he even gets there I swear!! he picked himself up a Fliker 3 scooter for £20!!!!).

And after all that I had time to have a little play with the gorgeous new  Peter Pan from Mo's Digital Pencil. He is just a delight to colour up! I teamed him up with some awesome papers and a super cute step card file I bought a while ago from the SIL store.

That gorgeous little sentiment comes with him so I made a quick little tag to print nd cut it out on too. I am totally loving Mo's Digital Pencil's newest images being in .png format, its really making me play with my silhouette cutting machine. I still have that thing where I love to see some white around the edge to make the image pop out from the background but one day I might make myself do the just right round the edge thing!!

I am even going to enter a challenge today!! wahooooo!! go me!! so its off to the Passion For promarkers make it Digital challenge he goes!!

Right, time to go. My tummy is growling louder than a hungry bears tummy would after hibernation so I am going to see what I can rustle up for lunch!!

hank you for popping in huge hugs Lou xxx
