I used the fabric adhesive to make this little christmas card for my Aunt who is 97.I had this scrap of fabric and I have to admit it is not my normal choice of pattern but I know aunt Audrey will love it. I got the little holly leaves from lakeland plastics a couple of years ago, the organza ribbon is papermania and the buttons are from my stash.
I put the fabric through first and then swapped my cartridge out and put the permanent adhesive one in, I put 2 beermats through along with all the embellies ( buttons included!! i love this machine!!) and a couple of pearly green bits of cardstock to cover the insides of the card as i cut my fabric big enough fold it over the edges for a neat edge.
I put it all together and rounded the edges with my corner chomper. I doodled a little gold edge around the front of the card and put a couple of small holes in with my big bite and to tie the 2 pieces together I use some lovely stretch gold cord. Inside ( which i forgot to take a picture of,derrrrrr!!!) I adhered some gold vellum with some gorgeous christmas peel off sentiments.
I am so pleased because I always find vellum a bit of a pain to stick but all I did was pop it in the creatopia and hey presto!!! even on the organza ribbon you can't see any lue and it isn't at all sticky to touch when you have popped it on!!!! ooo h I love it!!!!!!!!
Thank you for popping in on me, I'll be back soon when I can pull myself away from my creatopia, it is going to be so cool for all my fiddly cricut cuts!!!
