Hi everyone!!
I am so late posting away today as we have been having a bit of a lazy day here!!
Its my gorgeous Grandad's birthday today. I know lots of people will have special Grandad's but my Grandad is just the most special person and I absolutely adore him. I spent lots of time with him when I was growing up and I would be absolutely lost without him. He is 82 today, still watching planes with me and driving his brand new Jaguar around so I have lots of years of an aweome Grandad left with me yet!!!
We pootled off together to watch the Avro3 yesterday, it was magic,Grandad, my godfather Chris, Scott, Mo and me in a field watching those merlin engines hum over, I LOVED it, of course I cried like a big girls blouse as soon as I saw them coming over together but it was just an amazing occassion.
Here we are!! Scott snapped this piccy as we were waiting, its by no means a great picture of me but I am just so happy to have us in the piccy I don't care!!!
And of course, Mo had to get in on the card making fun for Grandad with his own card! He has been trying to steal....wanting to have a go.....with my Die namics Airplane Greetings set since it arrived and was almost jumping in his seat as he put all the little bits together!!! I love that he makes his own cards though and he even printed his paper onto his cardbase himself (..I know its upside down but I didn't tell Mo as he was so excited about having real sky!!!)
Paper- Past Funky Hand freebie.
I am just so grateful that he hasn't lost his crafty bug as he gets older. This is the card he made for his nannie for her birthday which was on wednesday. There is something just magical about those little splodgy glue and finger marks and imperfections on childrens cards that just makes me feel so proud to have a crafty lil man!
Right, time to go! a cuppa is calling me and I think I am in an ironing mood!!!
Huge hugs for you all
Lou xxxx
