Morning Peeps!!!

Its the time of month again for our 'Forgotten Funkies showcase over on the Get Funky and Craft inspiration blog!!! and each month our fabulous Funkettes will be here on our blog showing off some new makes with our older downloads.

Today's showcase is centred all around the gorgeously funky and fabulous 'Funky Daze' cd. Just look at this craft backing paper collection packed with ghosts, bats and 'things that go bump in the night!' Full of eye catching bright green, purple, orange, black, white and a word book options to go with them all included. So they are most definitely too good to be forgotten!!!

Funky Daze
I decided to go for a colourway with a bit of poperoo!!! so I chose the 'sunday best' papers and printed out a few of my favs! then with the help of Lori Whitlocks gorgeous hot air balloon card file I got busy!

I love that pop of colour with the dimension of the balloon! it really pops out at you! all I did then was add a few little die cut clouds here and there so it looks like its off in the sky!

Right, must dash! 4 more lil pumpkins to carve and a garden to decorate all spooky!!! here is last nights pumpkin effort too.....
soooooo cute!!!

Halloween cuteness for 2 challenges.......

Promarkers...
Ginger and Spice
Warm Grey 1-5
Burnt Sienna, Caramel and Sandstone
Olive Green and Pear Green
Morning everyone!!

I am doing 2 blog posts in one today with my DT makes for Tiddly Inks challenge and the Passion for Promarkers challenge!! what a cheat I know but I think one bloggy post from a waffle pants Lou in one day is enough for anyone to bear!!

so the Tiddly Inks challenge is...

Black Cats
so please use a black color combination or include black cats!!
Grab your favorite Tiddly Inks Fairy stamp or digital image and get your
coloring hats black!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc

but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image to be eligible for the prize**)

and the Passion for Promarkers challenge, picked by our gorgeous Eileen, is...

Add Some Sparkle
so think sparkly paper, gems, glitter etc
(As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your
Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers)
and of course follow the theme.)
So I went for uber cuteness and used one of the new images from Christy Croll over at Tiddly Inks, the little kitty from the couple of fall cuties image was just perfect for my Balck cat part of my Tiddly Inks challenge.

Then I found an uber awesome shadow box in the silhouette store! I LOVE it!! ( linky above under the piccy) and once I had made it (..there were lots of eeps..y'all know how much I love halloween!!!) I gave it a good old spray with some crafters companion glitter spray.

Right, I've waffled enough for one morning! we are just being a little lazy this morning, I have a couple of bits to cut on my silhouette and Mo is sat watching Shrek the musical and then we are going to take a walk with the dog.

Thank you for popping in
huge hugs for you all

Deck the halls Tobie....

Morning everyone!

Monday has rolled around quickly again and it's me in the blog posty day hotseat over on the DTDF inspiration blog today!!!

I am not afraid to say that I absolutely adore christmas and I am loving getting on with some christmas card makes for friends and family.

I broke out this because SOG Deck The Halls Tobie  its just gorgeous!!! and I had a delicious stroke only page of my Pion Designs play time paper left that was just perfect for being a good old chimney stack for this shadow box card. I love making these too! a good old bit of dimension is always fun to play with.

I made a little row of stockings to hang down inside and finished each end with the bell stamp, popping them all out on foam for some umpf!!

Typically Little Mo has already feasted his eyes upon this make and informed me that its his...!! lol!!! he is getting a good little stock pile of mummy's makes now!! funny little man!! maybe he should open a little shop!!!

I will still be at work when this posts and then zonking straight off to sleep when I get home. Half term bliss and Daddy day for Mo means I can slink straight under those duvet covers as soon as I get in!! heaven!!!!!

Thank you for popping in

A creative romance challenge ...Pink...

Stamp- Fairy Kiki by Mo Manning.
I'm back!!
Its time for the Elegant Artisans to get their craft on over on the Creative Romance challenge blog!!

our theme this time is Pink, that is we want to see Pink on your creation. You can colour Pink, or use Pink design papers and embellies! the choice is yours.

For this challenge we are sponsored by Live and Love Crafts.

Now..don't laugh...but for some reason the word pink on this one had me in a spin!! I just could not get going ...until I peeked through my stamp draw and found Fairy Kiki!! then it was easy!! isn't it funny how you sometimes juts need the right stamp to get going?!!!

Then it was just a case of adding some magical floof and the job was done!!

Right, got to dash! need some food shopping...my cupboards resemble old mother hubbards..... and we have to be home for 1pm for the genetics lady to ring so its going to be a rush...I want to try and squeeze in a sneaky visit to the range for some black card!! lol!!!!

Thank you for popping in again

Wryn's Leaves.....

Image- Wryn's leaves from Tiddly Inks.
Sentiment- Willow Birthday Fairy clear stamp set from Tiddly Inks.

Morning everyone!!

eeeep!! its time for a new release over in the Tiddly Inks store and there are 2 uber cuties for you to get....I kindly linked the piccies into their snuggly place in the store for you ;)

I decided to go with Wryn's Leaves for my make, she is just wonderful! I love her to bits! I have the little cuties all coloured up and ready for action too but Wryn shouted at me loudest!! he he he!!

Last night the tooth fairy was required for action....gulp! Mo really doesn't like loosing teeth, he panics like anything and this one has been wobbly for over 3 months!!...
So naturally mamma Tooth Fairy 1170....needed to get busy last night with an idea!!!...

...I think she rocked it!! lol!! its a penny roller! goo Tooth Fairy 1170!!!
(well, lets face it peeps, if you've got little p[eeps in your house youi should be bringing them a little magic everyday.)
Hence to say at 4:15am this morning when Mo woke and found the tooth fairy had been he was rather excited!!

Ducky Dance.....

Image- Ducky Dance Wryn from Tiddly Inks.
Hi peeps!

Well, its a rainy old day out there today! and the wind is blowing a hooley too! I have just popped my invention of a quiche for lunch in the oven to bake so thought I would quickly pop a little blog post on ( ...mostly to stop myself nomming on food in the kitchen while I watch the quiche cook....!!!).

Ducky Dance Wryn is just soooo cute!! and look at me going CAS?!! go me!!! I just didn't think she needed anything more than  a lovely sentiment and some pretty paper!

Mo's hospital appointment was a little surprising to say the least! Generally the little guy is doing really well and his Dr is pleased with his progress at school and how fantastically he is being nurtured there (..I've told you how awesome Mo's school is before but oh my...they are just awesome!!) but then came the shocker. The results of Mo's genetic array tests......OK...so when they said Mo's genetic change was rare they really did mean rare...like he is the only boy in the world with that difference on the database currently.....gulp!!!!!

This news makes little change for us as Mo is as Mo always has been but it was a bit of a shock! still the Dr is hopeful that as more people come forward they may find more like Mo and be able to make some better connections as to what it is! we have an hour long call scheduled with the genetic counsellor on friday and then from there they make an appointment for us to go to the hospital and talk to the genetic doctors..gulp!! lol!! hopefully by then too the results from Scott and I's tests will be coming in too so it builds up a better picture.

Mo's Dr also picked up a few traces of ADHD from some questionairres and a wonderful report that school did me to take with us but unfortunately she is not keen to give Mo medication for it because of the part of the brain it works on due to Mo's nerves and anxiety, it would help with concentration but it would also heighten his nerves so she is wanting to hold off on that at the moment but we are happy with that too as long as he is ok at school. We are extremely lucky that in his school they have many things in place for Mo for when he gets anxious or uncomfortable so thats such a comfort to us as parents.

Right got to go! I need to eat something hot and yummy and my quiche is beeping at me! yum!!

Huge hugs and thank you for popping in

ahhh, Magical bean!!!!

Stamp- TGF Magical Kit.

Morning everyone!!

Its a magical bean post for you today!! oooh I do love me some TGF!!! and whats not to love? they stamp fantastically every time and they are sooo cute! plus they are fabulous fun to colour up! I am sooo pleased I bought this set because they are all just adorable!! takes me ages to decide which one to go for!!!

I went all cosmic on this one! I tried to cosmic up her hair all funky too!! sparkly dots and white gel pen fun included!! he he he!!!

The Blueprints 16 set makes it super easy to get a funky slant on your cards too. I don't often do rectangle but when I do this set is my utter go to, it just makes it so easy!! especially with delicious double sided paper pads to help me along the way!! I am so pants at matching up without them! this was a one sheet of 6x6 paper wonder! he he he!!

Here she is a lil closer up so you can see cosmic hair!!!!

Right, must dash. My nerves are all a fettle today as its Little Mo's autism check up day and she is going to go through some genetics stuff and check his blocked bowel too so its like a mini MOT for the little guy!! Ipad and vending machine bribery will be in full swing!!! He is off to school this morning to keep him all in routine but we will be picking him up at 2pm to get to the hospital in plenty of time so theres no rushing around or that will get him panicky!! (...mummy may require chocolate infusion for this one!!!!)

Thank you for popping in!!

Divas by Design challenge....Texture....

I'm back!! he he he! post number 2 for the day! I promise there's no more!!!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Divas By Design challenge blog and we want you to use some.......
TEXTURE

So think.... embossing, fabric, flowers, ribbons ..
anything really that adds a bit of texture.
We are lucky to be sponsored by Magnolialicious.

So..me being me I decided to go for a bit of everything I could find texturey!! I used some delicious embossed and glittered papers, a lovely square of jute that I pulled the edges of to get some floof, some flowers, a heart border and then I hit the colouring, giving my lil puppy some texture of his own with some dotty fur!!! and to add a little more poperoo, I hot glued Tilda and her puppy on so that they had some texture by popping out too!!

I love this card!! there is nothing better than just going for what you fancy when you are making a card and thats what I love to do!!

Thank you for popping back in on me, I am off to nibble a mug shot chicken noodle for lunch and drink my peppermint tea whilst watching the latest loom band bracelet creation on youtube. I still love making them!! Mo got me hooked and now I can't help myselg but have a little go!! (which is just as well as the little guy comes home asking if I made one almost everyday!!!)

Huge hugs for you all
Lou xxxx

Amanda...

Image- Amanda from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Good morning gorgeous peeps of the world!!

Today I am popping in with my make using the gorgeous fundraiser Mo has made for Amanda. Right through until October 16th will be going to "Animal Friends" a pet resource center near Amanda's home in Pennsylvania, or if you'd prefer, you can donate directly to Animal Friends, check out their website.

I didn't think I was going to get time to play with her this week but I was chatting away to Mo last night and thought hey, lets get on it!!! coloured her up and got her on a card!! sometimes you jut have to grab a little me time and flow with it!!

I am not a careful colourer, I splodge it on and enjoy every second and I really did love this one. Here's a little close up of her before she got her edges distress inked! lol!! I love how the fur came out on these cuties! but my tripod is still up the loft so I struggled to get a good piccy of them on the made up card!! I coloured the kitty in her arms to look like the one Amanda has in her arms in one of her old pictures on facebook, man I miss her stunning creations so much.

...and of course there is a little challenge over on DP2 to go with her so I am just going to tuck her up cosy in there!!!!

Have an awesome day everyone
huge hugs Lou xxxx

Tiddly Inks challenge 143....Non Traditional Halloween colours!!!

Morning everyone!!

its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its an uber fun one!!! so the next challenge is...

Non Traditional Halloween Colours!!

so grab your favourite Tiddly Inks Fairy stamp or digital image and get your
colouring hats on and no using orange and black!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image to be eligible for the prize**)

This was a fun one and totally required stroke only papers and a squidge of paper piecing to make it match all tickety boo!!! ...oh and a fabby hubby to help you sort out the uber dark background you were left with when you too your piccy!! even if you forgot to crop out the top edge properly!!!

I stamped her out a couple of times, one on my colouring card and one on my stroke only MME pad!! lol!!! then it was just a case of colour and stick, I love doing that! she has a few hints of blingyness but other than that its a really simple and fun card to do.

Right, got to go and get someone small ready for school!! I'll be back in a few hours with my Passion for Promarkers DT make!

Thank you for popping in on me,

Winter Wishes...........

Image- Winter Wishes from Tiddly Inks.

Morning everyone!!

Sorry I am a squidge late popping in with my Tiddly Fab Friday make but we have a poorly little Mo today. He has a sore throat and sore ears and little rosy cheeks along with a temp so we are keeping him home for a rest today. He is not overly impressed with us as its golden time at school today and he wanted to take his panda teddy to play zoo's but hopefully the fact that Grandad is coming for the day will cheer him up some.

My make today is using the stunning new Winter Wishes from Tiddly Inks. I absolutely adore her, we saw a polar bear at the zoo last week, the first time I have ever seen one IRL, so that made it even more special.

I kept the layout really simple and just added a few die cuts and the sentiment from the  Willow Christmas Fairy clear stamp set.  Then it was time to splodge a lil bell and button and a lil heart to the mix too!! I can't resist christmassy cards this week!! I love it!!! There are only 18 fridays left until christmas!!! wohoooooo!!!

Right, off to get Mo and avacado for brekkie, nice and smooth and no ouchies!!

Thank you for popping in on me!

Arctic Friends.....

Image- Arctic Friends from Saturated Canary.

Hi everyone!!!

I hope you've all had fabby days, I've had a busy one!! I've been sorting out a few bits in the kitchen and having a good old autumn chuck out!! 3 bags of " I'm not sure why I bought this" later and I have got some kitchen side left after the throwing out of the actual kitchen cupboards last weekend!!

..so you can see why I needed a good old crafty afternoon (...well...1 hour anyway but I still enjoyed it fully!!!).

I coloured up the gorgeous new Arctic Friends from Krista. It is the most awesome image to play with. It was a full on stickles snow kinda thing too and they took aaaaaaages to dry! thats how I know the colder times are on their way! my stickles takes forever to dry!! lol! it left me wishing I had stickled after I placed her on the card!!!

I distressed and tore and embellied and just had the best time!

I have an inkling that little Mo is not feeling too great tonight :( he had fun playing outside when we got home for 15 minutes and then he came in saying he didn't feel so good :( he's a bit of a funny colour and has a sore throat so we are snuggled up watching the Harry Hill Movie! its funny so its cheering him up some!! hopefully he will feel a bit better after a good sleep.

Thank you for popping in on me

Waiting on baby Brennan.........

Morning peeps!!!

We are here to celebrate a super happy occasion! Our friend and Tiddly Inker, Melissa, is expecting a baby boy Brennan any day now, so we wanted to share her joy!

So, to try and contain some of our excitement and stop us asking Melissa every 5 minutes if he is here yet we decided to make a card just to celebrate the Andrew family and welcome Brennan and have a little blog hop. We have a linky up there for you to play along too and a random winner will be chosen from the entries!!

Here is the hop list, the girls have all made the most beautiful cards, you won't want to miss any of them so please click on each name to be magically pinged to their blogs!

TABBATHA of ZadisProject.

I just had to go with one of my first ever Tiddly Inks buys!! Sleep Tight Baby. I have adored this digi since I first started out on my tiddly journey a few years ago. All I needed to do then was add some 'Lou Froo' to the card!! this is a lovely 7.5x7.5" card so plenty of space to play around with and make a bit special like our Melissa is to us.

Thank you for hopping in,
Huge hugs Lou xxx
