well I have been spoilt this morning. Scott got up with Mo and I got to stay in bed until 7am and then I got some gorgeous cards from my little boys, a new demenco willow tree ornament called 'the promise' .
We are just getting ready to go for a walk to clumber park. I love clumber park and I am really looking forward to just pootling around the lake and playing with Mo.
This LO is made with my favourite picture of me and mo.
Pictures of me are quite hard to come by as I really don't like having my photo taken!! Friends and family are wise to this now and they tend to snap away at me while I am not looking, but this one I actually sat down for. It was taked at norfolk lavenedar in the little garden last year. We are going to go back this year and take the same photo again to see how much the willow has grown on the little house we are sat in front of. I made it with our challenge on the UK crafters thread on the CMB in mind. Our challenge mistress Kerry (....yep, still makes her sound like a woman dressed in black skin tight leathers, with lots of studs and high heeled black patent boots brandishing a whip doesn't it!!!!!) chose the tree cut on page 72 of the wild card cart and buttons for this time.
I love these challenges as I too often forget the litle gems my cricut carts have tucked away on them and doing these little challenges reminds me just how cool my cricut really is!!!

The letters and hearts are from all mixed up and glazed, i love how thye came out. The wild card tree I cut twice and ran the heart cardstock through my cuttlebug to get the pop out hearts and the brown layer of tree through my cuttlebug with my script folder for the bark of the tree trunk. I used a little heart button on the tree and 3 little flower head shaped buttons on the plantin schoolbook grass. The string around the photo and he bottom of the page is just garden twine!! but it looks lovely with the willow in the photo.
Right off for a walk now. Have a super mothers day everyone in the UK!!
Hugs
