Morning peeps!!
well this bloggy post is late due to the snow.....:) I tell you now, Torvill and Dean have nothing on me! My car is officially a giant ice skate and this morning I managed to almost crash the blooming thing not once but twice! by the time I got home I was a nervous wreck and a cuppa and half a bar of tesco value white chocolate was in order! its beautiful out there but take care and keep safe when you are driving....its time like this when I am sooo pleased I moved to a village on top of a hill and Mo's gorgeous school is a few miles down the beautiful country roads......sigh!!! romfl!!!
Some of you might of seen this before but I wanted to share it for my post over on the Dies To Die For inspiration blog this morning as I feel like I have only been making cards for my DT posts recently and I wanted a bit of something different!! for those who haven't seen it yet, here's a few deets!!
I used my yummy Die-namics dies .. fish tail flags layers stax die-namics. The roses are made with my Die-namics Mini Royal Rose!! and one of the flowers on my Tim Holtz tattered florals for the leaves. I sat and hand stitched the pink and green felt together, I love stitching, its so relaxing and then I hot glued my roses together and added a little gem to the centre of each one.
I cut 'LILY' out with my Tim Holtz chip block alphabet strip die and attached that with hot glue too. I positioned the roses up at the top so that when it is in a book it won't slip down and loose the page!
and here is a piccy of what happens to your kitchen chair when your gorgeous furball princess is teething....
This only happens to my chair might I add, proving she really is mummy's princess....sigh!!! so you take her for a good walk in the snow to cheer her up and hey! who needs teething chews?!! all you need to do is.....Face Plant!!! mmmmm wooferly relief!!!
bless her!! its so hard to take a piccy on your phone in the snow but yup...her head is buried up to the middle of her back!!! and thats how she says for a minute then pops up all covered in snow!!
and here's a piccy of our gorgeous walk on our way to the field....
and on our way home...
I am avoiding any main roads on our walks until all the grit has gone due to all the reports I have been reading on animals dying from licking their paws after walking on gritted areas so please wash your precious paws when you get in if you have had a walk anywhere gritty peeps.
Right more tea needed!! go to brave that chilly craft room!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx
