Afternoon Peeps!!!
I am a bit late popping in to my bloggy world today as we have had a wonderful breakfast and walk to the park for a few hours with scott's mum and dad. It was so lovely, Mo played on the park and fed the ducks and horses,Holly ran around like a loony and the weather was gorgeous and sunny and held out for us until we got back home.
I have cooked 2 banana breads and a coconut and lime loaf..yummo!!! and tea is in the oven so I can sit down and share the card I made for the girls at work to give to my friend Gabby's little baby on his baptism a couple of weeks ago.
It was a beautiful service and Mo was especially taken by the oils that were rubbed onto Cole by the priest and the church was stunning, so light and welcoming with the most beautiful stained glass windows.
For Coles card I just had to use the stunning little 'All our Dreams' stamp. This baby is just the cutest baby swinging on that branch in the spotty blanket and I love it. I stamped him in rich cocoa memento ink and then popped him through my printer to add Cole's name and baptism information. I coloured him up and inked him some clouds and then gave the whole circle a good old spray with my crafters companion spray. I really love the finish on this one...hard to take a piccy with the shiny surface but so so lovely to look at!
I added some blue organze ribbon to my nitwits papers, punched a martha doily hearts lace border with the scraps left over and then a little teddy charm to the bow, awwwww!!!
I stitched a little book of paper so that all the girls had plenty of room to write their baptism messages for Cole inside.
I am entering him into a few challenges too, they are.....
The Ribbon girl bingo challenge- ribbon, pearls and image
Right, I had better get myself into action again and get on with making some gravy to go with tea which is going to beep in 4 minutes time!!!! kettle on and Aunt bessies gravy granules me thinks today!!! he he he!!!
Thank you for popping in on me today!
huge hugs Lou xxx
