The little chrimbley house on the prairie!!

 Morning again Peeps!!

I'm back  in here again with my Get Funky post to carry on with our Amanda's awesome Christmas is all about kids challenge.
In our family christmas has always been centred around the children completely, and Scott and I have carried that through into our little home too so when I saw Amanda's challenge I was so excited I got to work on a little something for my Little Mo. Each year we put a treat on his bed for him to nibble up on christmas morning when he wakes up and he loves it, he gets so excited because he knows its the only day he will get a treat before breakfast!!!

So this year I grabbed my Funky Little Christmas download and got busy on a super cute little house to pop on his bed. I love the mix of kraft feeling papers and zingy greens in this download and the little christmas tree toppers. Those toppers were too cute to use as little trees around the outside of the little house. I popped them out on foam squares, awwwwww!!!

I used one of my punches to make the cute shingles on the roof, inking each one to make it stand out and die cut 25 to pop on the door. I used a teeny brad for the door handle too.

And here's a peek inside.....
mmmmm yummy!! just perfect for a treat size bag of dairy milk buttons.
Mo loves candy canes so I tied 2 together in a heart shape and attached them to the back of the house.
Now, you still have a couple of days to join in with the challenge before it ends on the 14th november,as always our gorgeous Anice has prepared a fab funky freebie for you to use if you don't own any Funkyhand goodies. The only challenge rule is that you use at least one Funkyhand product, and the prize is any download from Funkyhand shop.

Right, I had better go get back to my poorly little squidger and get myself some porridge for breakfast, Mo has managed a little square of dried toast that he asked for so I feel a bit more settled and not so panicky mummy to get some breakfast myself now.

Huge hugs and thank you's for popping back in on me

Snowflake Fairy Princess.....

Die-namics Fishtail flags layers die.

Morning Peeps!

Here I am with a little monday morning make for you all to peeky in at!!! Little Mo has been sick over the weekend and is all snuggled up next to me now so I haven't had anything to post over the weekend but yesterday afternoon while he was a bit brighter  I pootled out to delve into my yummy new DT   box from Dies to Die For and oooooooooh is it delicious!! Unfortunately the being better didn't last for him and last night I became a very attractive knitted black dress ooking post...hair,face,dress, you name it,it was covered! (.. I think knitted black dresses should now be made with an emergency sick little mo button that I press and out comes a waterproof suit....)

I had major fun making this little cutie though, I am still pinching myself to believe I am on this little team of gorgeously talented ladies (...ermmm actually that goes for all the Dt's I am on as I just pootle about in my own little world mos of the time and can't believe people actually really do like the bits I make!)

Now I know mushrooms are out of season at christmas but awwwww these ones were so cute in the TGF Fairy Princess set that I just couldn't resist using them too!!! Once I had stamped and coloured up my little fairy I just had to make her a snowflake scene to fly in. I distressed around the edges with Tea Dye distress ink to finish it off, I love an inky edge!!

The little snowflakes are from the memory box crystalline border die and I love them. I pushed them down into my foam mat with my ball embosser to pop them up a bit and then dotted them around my stamped mat, adding a little touch of stickley magic to the centres!!!

As for my little fairy...well I just had to pop her out on an action wobble!! these things are too much fun not to share with a fairy!! he he he he!!

Promarker colours are...
skin- blush,sunkissed pink and coral.
reds- berry red, crimson and burgundy
greens- leaf green, grass and forest green
yellows- pastel yellow,sunflower and gold.
I also added a few dots of glaze pen to her top and skirt.

Thank you so much for popping in on my chrimbly fairy, I'll be back in a few hours with my Get Funky blog make so please pop back in on me again!!!
huge hugs Lou xxx
