Fetch a sketch challenge 4.
This is my 2nd post for the day so if you are looking for my Tiddly Tuesday post, it is HERE!!
I was having big bloggy problems last night ( after a totally huge snooze of 4 hours long...ooops!!) so I decided to get busy on my challenge card entry for the Fetch a sketch challenge blog.
Here is the current sketch, if you click on it you will be magically pootled over to the fetch a sketch challenge blog....
I turned the sketch on its side and enlisted the help of a wintery edwin to help me get another christmas card make ticked off my list!!! I even did some real stitching on it with some metallic thread ( very threaputic when Mr Blogger won't work for you!!) and a bit of puffy wuffy snow for him to walk on too!!!
The gorgeous flowery black paper is from my Dreams Come True cd from Funky Hand. It is the 3rd paper in on the darkness lifts colourway and I love it.
So thats me for today!!!
huge hugs Lou xx
Tiddly Inks challenge 61- Thank you teacher!
Image- Teachers Change The World from Tiddly Inks.
This week our challenge is .....
Thank you Teacher.
and us little Tiddly Inkers were set the challenge on creating a little gift/creation/card for a teacher. We all know they do a totally awesome job looking after our little peeps so they need a thank you now and again!!
Well, I am a nursery nurse and I am on holiday with little Mo at the moment but when I go back to work in september I will gain a new group of little peeps who will be my keyworkers. I like to keep all the info I need on them in a little notepad so I can refer to it all easily and thus my little creation is a gift for me!! yey!!!
I coloured up my chosen image, Teachers change the world, all me style!! and added my name to the little chalkboard. Everyone at work calls me Mrs. D and I love it!! its a nickname that even the parents and children call me and it makes me feel at home when I am at work which is so nice.
Here's a little close up of the image.....
I also added some glossy accents to the big yummy apple in the bottom left corner and made a rosette out of my little sentiment by nestifying it and adding a paper ribbon to the bottom!! cute!!
My notepad is a pukka pad so it has a really handy plastic front that will protect my little altered front page a treat.
The alphabet paper was a download from the papercraft inspirations blog, I just printed it out on some cream linen paper.
This was a super fun make and I am thinking of doing a few more notepads now (ya'll know what I am like once I get addicted to something!!!)
Right must pootle off and have a quick look around bloggy land before I go and pick up Lily and Jake for another day of playing!!
Thank you for popping in on me. Daft as itsounds, little comments and visits from peeps make my day.
Huge Tiddly Tuesday hugs
Lou xxx
