mini tilda's and cmb challenge!!

Hello peeps!!!!

Well , (despite terrible nerves the night before and scott telling me I had to go) I had the best time ever at the NEC on saturday. I was super lucky as I was able to meet up with my lovely friends I met on the cricut mb. I met enfys, Kat and Nicki. We had a lovely time putting the world to ights over cookies and coffee and even managed to pull ourselves a stormtrooper!!!!!!!! lol!!!!!

There was sooooo much at the show!! I bought myself quite a few goodies, incuding some super sweet mini tilda's, I am in love with these!!!
Here is a cute 4x4 card I made with one of them. A bit of cuttlebug birds and swirls, inking and my fav stampin up ovals set and it was done!!!
The second card I made whilst having a creating with my sarah kay stamps card night. I have been making some cute cards for a venture my good friend andrea is going to do. I had a challenge card to do using the tall border, shift, 7, on the storybook cart ( i wish i could say the fab coding was me but it was actually down to our challenge mistress kerry!!! lol!!!) This sarah kay is 'the joy of giving' and i love her to bits, who else could do christmas in such cool summery clothing?!The light is so dull and grey here this morning that my gorgeous crafty notions spray is not showing up at all, grrrrrr. The cardstock is from my outing to kaban cards open day and the merry christmas sentiment is from one of andrea's lovely little bug stamp sets. The little golden snowflake is there for a special friend eileen who sadly passed away in december last year, I put a snowflkae somewhere on all my christmas cards now in her memory, she was such a lovely lady and very, very talented.
Right I must get ready for work now!!!!
Thank you for popping in,
hugs

Remembering bobby xx

Hello peeps!!
I am sorry I have been a bit of a bad blogger this week, I have been super busy with uni work, work and family and blogging took a back seat I am afraid!!!

So here is my latest bit of creating!!! The challenge on the UK crafters thread was to use the daisy from the walk in my garden cart. When I looked at it I chose the card function but decided to do it as a scrapbook page.
My gorgeous furry friend is my darling bobby. He was my fur baby charge when I was a nanny and kept me company for 10 years whilst I was at work. I loved him so much and was devastated when he passed away in december last year.

He adored being out in the garden and used to spend hours chasing and barking at the vapour trails that the planes left behind ( thats many happy hours of barking and chasing I tell you as we were right in the flight path for RAF waddington!!!!!) hench the cloudy effect 'bobby' coming 0ut of the plane!!! I used my white woodware fluffy stuff to do his cloudy name!!! here is a close up of his piccy. He was gorgeous.

I have had such a nice day today. Ryan ran his little mile this morning and loved it and even managed to get to play his football match afterwards. Mo was finally brave enough to get back on his bike after his bad fall off it last year and even enjoyed going up the little ramp that daddy had made for ryan to test out the new bmx we got him for his birthday.

thank you for popping in!!
hugs xx

Happy Mothers Day everyone!

Good Morning peeps!!

well I have been spoilt this morning. Scott got up with Mo and I got to stay in bed until 7am and then I got some gorgeous cards from my little boys, a new demenco willow tree ornament called 'the promise' .

We are just getting ready to go for a walk to clumber park. I love clumber park and I am really looking forward to just pootling around the lake and playing with Mo.
This LO is made with my favourite picture of me and mo.
Pictures of me are quite hard to come by as I really don't like having my photo taken!! Friends and family are wise to this now and they tend to snap away at me while I am not looking, but this one I actually sat down for. It was taked at norfolk lavenedar in the little garden last year. We are going to go back this year and take the same photo again to see how much the willow has grown on the little house we are sat in front of.

I made it with our challenge on the UK crafters thread on the CMB in mind. Our challenge mistress Kerry (....yep, still makes her sound like a woman dressed in black skin tight leathers, with lots of studs and high heeled black patent boots brandishing a whip doesn't it!!!!!) chose the tree cut on page 72 of the wild card cart and buttons for this time.
I love these challenges as I too often forget the litle gems my cricut carts have tucked away on them and doing these little challenges reminds me just how cool my cricut really is!!!

The letters and hearts are from all mixed up and glazed, i love how thye came out. The wild card tree I cut twice and ran the heart cardstock through my cuttlebug to get the pop out hearts and the brown layer of tree through my cuttlebug with my script folder for the bark of the tree trunk. I used a little heart button on the tree and 3 little flower head shaped buttons on the plantin schoolbook grass. The string around the photo and he bottom of the page is just garden twine!! but it looks lovely with the willow in the photo.

Right off for a walk now. Have a super mothers day everyone in the UK!!
Hugs

Mothers day challenge card!!

Yippeee!!! we got a lovely bit of sunshine here today and it has lifted my spirits to see the sun, hear the birds happily tweeting away and watch the little peeps at work enjoyig running around in the sunshine.

It inspired me to get out my boo's and my gorgeous sunshine papers from my do-crafts goody bag and make this cute mothers day card.

I coloured this cute hedgehog from the mothers day digi set from lily-boo's boutique with my promarkers and cut it with my nesties. I wanted it to stand out a bit so I made an easel card with only half a front piece ( hope that makes sense!!!!). I used the flowers, ribbon and bow and one of the tiny buttons from my goody bag too.
This card is the one I made for my DT card for Lily-boo too challenge blog, the challenge is mothers day so I used another one of the mothers day digi's.
Thank you for popping in on me!!!
