My lovely new butterfly punch!!!

My lovely friend Karen got me this lovely butterfly punch for my birthday, when she is punched you can fluff her wings out and she becomes 3d.

I have been desperate to use it properly ( i have spent the last few weeks punching butterflies in scrap bits of paper and card!!!) and the challenge on the Uk crafters thread seemed like a perfect time to use it!!!!!

The challenge was to make a card using plain paper/card and use 3 buttons. I folded my pink card so there would be a little pink edge showing and then ran my white card through my cuttlebug and then punched my little butterfly (shes so cute!!) then i inked stickied her up with my watermark pad and chalked her shimmery pink, (i did the same to the edges of the white card too) then i doodled a fluttery flight path with my fineliner pen and used 3 little pink flower buttons, threaded with a little bit of pink thread to match and it was done!!!!

I have had a busy week with  Ryan breaking his wrist and little mo being poorly (…..again! yey, more antibiotics and the upset tummy to go wit them!!!!) and looking though the entries for the Lily-boo DT call. Please go and peek, there is a gorgeous rose freebie from sam on the blog too.

Thankyou for popping in!!!

  5. Great use of your punch! I love the flight path that you've drawn and how it goes off the front page. Very creative!
