I have had the most lovely day. I went to cricut club and it was my turn to make a little card to inspire the group!!! i have had a lot of baby card requests recently so thought I would top up my stock pile and got out my Lily-boo's boutique Onesie's digi set.
Now for a warning on your purse strings peeps!!!!!!! I watched Anice on c&c tv yesterday morning ( you have probably guessed by now that I lurve funkyhand downloads and cds!!!)
and as normal she inspired me to get funky so I printed myself out a selection of papers from my fab cd's.

For the little patterned onesie's all I did was print out the paper and then pop it back through the printer again to print my little onesie on it. (The sweet baby boy sentiment I made in photoshop and printed onto the plain onesie in the set, I love how you can personalise them easily and it would be great for putting the little babie's names on, awwwwwwww, my head is ticking again!!!)
The tags are cut on my cricut in normal and then shadow function with a bit of a silicone glue sandwich!!!! to make them pop out a bit.
Now, for the tiny little faux brads...... I love card candy from craftwork cards and have almost all the colours, but when i tried one on my little tag it was way too big so I had to do a bit of thinking and try and work out how I could make some of my own to co-ordinate my funkyhand papers!!!!
I used the scraps left over from each card to make these really cute little faux brads and I have made my first ever little video for my blog for anyone who wants to know how to make them too.
It is sooooo easy I just wanted to share it with you all. I am sure I won't be the first person to of discovered how to do this for tiny ones but I was so pleased with myself for thinking of it alone last night and I adore my mini funkyhand brads, they really are super effective!!!!!!
Here's my little video!!! let me know what you think, I love comments!!!

beautiful cards and wow at the faux brads! Really clever idea, no more last minute dashes to the shops for a pack of brads so you can use just 2 of them to finish a project. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo Lucy what a great video and how lovely to hear your voice!
