I have been busy finishing up my challenge card for the tiddly inks challenge blog!! This week they it is time to gear up for school, which was perfect with my youngest niece fast approaching her first day at 'big girl school'.
With this momentous day almost here I decided a going to school kit was needed!!!! I made an easel card and then made up a little box with a window to go onto the bottom part of it.
I covered a small notebook, ruler and trusty ikea pencil with the blackboard paper and then found a little pair of red plastic scissors to complete the kit!! a little red ribbon taped to the notebook is holding the pencil nice and snug and was perfect to slip the scissors into.I coloured up my schoolgirl with my promarkers and made a cute and made a cute little sentiment in word.
I did harriet's name with my yummy white fabric thickers and glittered up the edges a bit to match my colour scheme.
Now, I take a squillion photo's of my little mo in the hope that one day I will manage to do more than one scrapbook page a year. Mo has had a bit of a traumatic week this week with his 'best best bestest friend' moving away. This photo is of their hug on wednesday morning when we went to wave them off, you can just see mo's prized 'little red flying machine' that his best buddy bought him as a leaving present. I am still at the stage where this photo makes me all weepy and daft so I wanted to share it with you all.
....and just to prove he is doing ok, here is my little man after dressing himself completely independently for a party this afternoon, check out the tie!!!! he had a lovely time and that is fab as he is so funny about going to parties and will normally say no to going or chicken out and the last moment and want to stay home! it was my next door neighbours little girls 2nd birthday and he thinks she is 'so cute and small'!!!!!
