Evening Peeps!!
well, I tried going to bed but we seem to be living in the middle of a firework display tonight! they have been going off continually since 7:30pm so I gave up and went out to do some crafting!!
I wasn't in the mood for anything projects too big, feeling kinda lazy tonight!! but then I remembered I have been a bad Lou and not gotten an ATC into Jenn's Wicked Wednesday ATC challenges yet so that was my mission!!! an ATC for my lovely Jenn!!!
Its a new years theme....perfick!!!!! and I had forgotten just how delicious making ATC's is!! Luckily I managed to find my pile of printed Ellie's from SC digi's and trimmed her down to the right size (3.5x2.5 inches) She was just right to sit inside that, phew!!I even dug out my copics for a grungey kind of look and added the year 2012 to the balloons (...in my less than nice handwriting, grrrr!!)
I embossed the edges of my ATC in my cuttlebug with my tiny bubbles embossing folder and gave them a good old distressing treatment with Faded Jeans DI, then I found dome yummy little swirls in my SU tiny tags stamp set and splonked them along the edges with some Frayed Burlap DI.
mmmmmm, this photo actually looks a bit pants so I will take a new one tomorrow, I think I have actually got a great big greasy mark on my lense from taking piccies of Mo yesterday so I really need to clean that up too!!!
happy New Year All!!! off to get a cuppa and a biscuit now before I try and nod off asleep!!

Time Flies !!!
Morning Peeps!!
Before I go on much further I want to wish you all a super fab and very happy new year. I have had such a year of ups and downs but mostly ups and I wanted to thank each and every one of you for being my "ups"!!
You comments and encouragement cheer me up so very much and wombling along to your blogs inspires me each and every day. So huge huge hugs go out to you all xxxxxxx
This holiday has been very much family time. I haven't been out much and I have loved every minute. I have managed to spend some time with most of my family which has been wonderful and yesterday scott, mo and I had a wonderful day, followed by a fantastic night for scott, Ryan and I. Mo was so sleepy he had gone to bed before ryan arrived so scott, ryan and I vegged out on the settee and watched the Fast Five (..,,yeah again but you know you can never get too much of vin deisel....:) !!)
The clock above is the clock that we made for our parents, scott's nana and grandad and scott's sister and BIL. You would not believe how many photo's of our squidgy boys we needed to take for this clock!!!!
I had decided that I wanted the boys to be looking at each other from 2 of the windows and then together in the last one. Its a shadowbox clock so sorry about the shadows in the photo I took, they look really cute nestled in their boxes!!! I think in all we had 100 pictures of Ryan, 200+ of Mo and the just 8 of them together as they always get a good piccy together straight away!!!
I have some crafting planned for today and trying to catch up with my BF on skype!! Have a fabby new year!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx

Papertake weekly sketch!!
Hello Peeps!!!
I have had the most awesome day today. We arranged to meet scott's mum and dad at pizza express for a family meal today so we pootled out to Newark. I had a quick look in next where I got myself a gorgeous top with swallows on, love it!! The meal was fabulous and yummy and Little Mo had a super time with nannie and Grandad Prickly (...Mo named him that because of his beard when he was just 1.5 yrs old and it has stuck ever since!!! I love Mo-ism's!!! they are cute!!)
Mo was falling asleep on the way home so we popped him straight in the bath to wake him up a little and watched Planet 51, he loved it and it kept him going until he asked if he could please go to bed!!!!! bless him.
Once mini man was snuggly asleep scott and I watched The Fast and the Furious 5 ( mmmmm..Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson...) then I had an itching to go craft!! I have been doing a lot of late night crafting recently!! lol !!!!
I bought these 2 gorgeous new images from Krista on christmas eve and have only just had chance to get a bit of a play with them after seeing Dawny P's yummo sketch challenge over on Papertake Weekly this week. I had to join in with the challenge because I always get addicted to a Dawny P sketch!! ( thankyou Dawny xxxxx)
Mo loved Skateboarder and Mummy loved Ellie so we got both!!!!! :)
Here's Ellie a bit closer up....
and here's the little skateboarder dude!! oh I love him so much. This one is going to be for Ryan's birthday in march. He loves his skateboard and his skooter so I think he will love this.....if Mo doesn't find it first!!!
Right, I am off to bed now as the dreaded monthlies have well and truly kicked in now and I am feeling sore!!! grrrrr monthlies!!!

SC christmas/winter challenge!
Hello Peeps!!!
Hope you are all fab this evening. I fell asleep watching Charlie and the chocolate factory after putting Mo in bed so I woke up just in time for Grey's Anatomy (......mmmmmmmm, mark and Derek......) and after being traumatised by the death of terry's hubby and general awesome Grey's Anatomy-ness I decided I needed to go craft some!!!
I also realised I haven't entered the christmas/winter challenge over on the SC challenge blog and needed to remedy that first!! so I hit my little folder of Krista loveliness and picked out Thank you as she is oh so cute!!! I didn't fancy making a card so I decided to go for a big juicy tag instead, this one is 5.5" high and around 3" wide and I love this size.
I used some of my good old papermania papers ( i am going to be so sad when these have all gone as I have been eeking them out for 3 chrimbles now!!!) some forest moss distress ink and of course the awesome magnolia swirl stamp!! I love this stamp, Lou made me buy it a couple of years ago (.....Ok, so Lou didn't push me down the stamp aisle...she just sat there making totally awesome stuff with it and I had to go get it!!!!) Oh my goodness, a couple of years ago??? oh my I really need to go see Lou and Chris do their thang again soon!!! Time has run away with me a bit recently.
A bit of bling splonked on at the top edge and bottom edge and a really cute tag for next years stash is all ready to go!! go me!!!!
It felt really nice to do a quick make (....then google Grey's Anatomy to make sure that Mer and Alex are OK in the next episode.....!!) and it cheered me up so much ( thank you Krista, mwah mwah xxxxxx)
Right, going to try and get back to sleep now as a squidgy little Mo-ster will be getting up in around 6 hours!! I am so sure I remember the days of sleeping past 5:30am.........................:)
Huge hugglies and thank you for popping in on me!

Pirate Captain Ginger!!
Morning Peeps!!
he he he he!! I know its not paper related but I so had to share my pirate gingerbread man I made last week while I was on Aunty duty!!!! ( on it again today so wonder what the little peeps will fancy doing today?!)
We made a whole batch of gingerbread, cut them out, cooked them and then let it cool. Once they were cool I set the children free with icing pens and sprinkles of many different varieties!! but of course the temptation to do one myself got too great and I had to get making one myself. I asked Mo what I should make and he said a pirate...gulp!! but in the end he turned out real cute!!........then Mo ate him!!!! so pleased I got a piccy first before his quick and swift departure!!!!!
Right better get my self dressed and ready to go pick up Jake and Boo.

Get Funky - Thank you challenge!!
Now before I carry on and waffle away to you a little about my makes for our very own Anice's Thank you challenge over on Get Funky, I have 2 very special words to say.......or scream......:)
Its a perfect time then to get your hands on some Funky goodies!!! I loooove a sale!!!
So onto my makes! My little card you can see at the top was such a CAS make but I think its so cute! I have a 3x3 card obsession at the minute! and the matching wine bottle tag came about because I thought the bottle would look fab with a bit of decoration!!! the yummy thick coloured rafia was a range find just before christmas and I love it. the zingy green and peach tie in so nicely with the freebie paper.
Don't worry if you don't have any Funky Hand downloads yet because Anice has made an awesome Funky 15th Freebie and it is available here it's gorgeous!!! I used it on all of my makes and I think its fair to say I may be addicted to it!!!!! I adore the variation of letters and bright, warm funky springy colours so don't miss it and if you do grab it, don't forget to share what you make with it in our challenge this month over on Get Funky. If you need a bit of inspiration some of the funkette's have already got their thank you thang on so go see what they made!!
I have already been pootling about in my crafty garage over christmas. Daddy and Mo were busy doing boy stuff so I pootled on out and have been playing with paper!!!! they are top secret makes at the minute but I will be sharing them in the new year!!!
Right then, its off for a cuppa and a good old bloggy womble for me now!!!

Paper star ornament!!
Morning Peeps!!
How are you all this fine boxing day?! I am still full to the brim of yesterday's yummy food!!
Yesterday while Little Mo and Daddy were doing ' boys stuff ' investigating Mo's new golf clubs and bag I decided to have a little bloggy womble and play with paper!!
I just had to have a good play with the gorgeous funky freebie Anice made for this months Get Funky Thank you challenge, its my day to post on the challenge blog with some other makes tomorrow but I just had to share this little decoration today.
The tutorial for this paper star decoration is here on Dawn's Stamping blog. I love Dawn, she is so cheery and bubbly and makes really superb tutorial video's (...tutorials have to be easy to follow for a noodle brain like me!!!)
I love the surprise of this little paper star and the way it starts off as a teeny 1.5 inch square when its all folded up!! I love it!!
I used a scrap of paper from my Funky hand paper folder to make the little 1.5" cover and one of the stamps in my SU pennants stamp set. I love this for a christmas present thank you! everyone still has their tree's up so it will be a lovely add on to my mum's tree later when we give it to her!! and because it is made with such a bright, cheery paper she can hang it anywhere once the tree comes down.
It doesn't stay that teeny of course!! it pops out into this beautiful decoration below.....
I added a little epoxy button to my organza ribbon. It is what slides up and down to hold the star teeny and then formed, go peek at Dawn's video and have a go yourself because they totally rock!! very relaxing for a boxing day make too!!! and of course if you use the funky freebie you can come play along in the challenge with us over on Get Funky!!!
Cuppa and sausage bap time for me now!!!! I will be back tomorrow with my Get Funky makes!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx

The last christmas card !!
Morning Peeps!!
How are you all this fine christmas eve? I am so excited for chrimbles and have a very excited little mo this morning!! I have a stinky head cold but nothing that a few fererro rochers and cups of tea won't cure ;) !!
We are just about organised, Mo and I decorated the cake this morning and we have done to nip to tesco for veg for dinner tomorrow and were the only people in our village's tesco express so it was all done in 10 mins!! yey!!!!
So onto the very last chrimbley card I will be making this year!!! I am popping it over in the challenge on papertake weekly- Last Christmas card of the year- in celebration!!!! lol !!
I don't think I have ever been as behind with cards as I have been this year!! I always promise myself I will be more organised with them but seem to get worse instead of better!!! he he he he!!!!
Anywhoo!! I finally inked up the little LOTV stamp I bought in november and coloured it up with my promarkers:
reds- cardinal red and crimson
greens- pear grean and olive green
browns- sandstone, caramel and pastel beige.
so I am popping it in the challenge over on I love promarkers which is Anything Goes.
And here's a piccy of Mo's cake decorating!! I made some snowflakes with one of Mo's playdough cutters and we added them to the corners and centre!! that stunning looking thing in the middle is a fountain candle and omg they are fab!! (...it was only right to test run one to see what they are like and you should of hear Mo's excited little gigglies as it went!!)
I want to wish you all a very very merry christmas and I am sending huge cyber hugs to you all from me and Little Mo

Mo and Mummy post!!
Hello Peeps!
I love the holidays. I am absolutely loving a few days with my little man at home with me and having some Mummy and Mo time.
Today we had a party to go to for 2 of Mo's little friends. Mo asked me to make them notepads for their presents and he would do the cards so we have been working on them for a couple of days. I chose the miniworld sitting tilda because she is just gorgeous. The papers are from my DCWV nana's nursery girl stack and the stickers are from my stash. (Sorry about the piccy too! it was all a bit of a rush by the time we took piccies so I only took one and didn't realise it was a bit blurry until now!!!)
Mo chose 2 bic 4 colour pens for the girls too to go with their notepads so I added a bit of ribbon and bling and their initials shrinkied onto those but I forgot to take piccies of them!!!
Mo chose 2 bic 4 colour pens for the girls too to go with their notepads so I added a bit of ribbon and bling and their initials shrinkied onto those but I forgot to take piccies of them!!!
There were a few little frightened tears this morning about going to the party but he still wanted to go and it was the most wonderful party with a fabulous entertainer called Mr. Shiney, he was just amazing and the children loved him!
Anyway, onto the good bit....Here are Mo's cards...... front...
and back.....
He headed straight for the Happy Happy Birthday papercraft factory from Funky Hand to make his cards. I love how he did it, it was actually a rather fab idea and I was so proud of him for working it all out :)
He decided he wanted..in his words...
"to write on the back of his card like in the shops and have the front on all in one go Mummy"
So he got one of our christmas cards and opened it up on the table. Then after looking at it for a couple of minutes he plonked 2 patterns from the Birthday Girls colourway onto the workspace, shrunk them so he could fit 2 on one page and added a few digi's to the front..cute!!
Then ( and I have to admit I thought this next bit was magical bless him!!) he opened the writer part of the workspace and used the label writing to write 'made by morgan 2011' I asked him why he wrote Morgan instead of Mo and he said thats what the twins call him so he wanted to do that for them (...awwwww!!) he dragged in onto both cards and left it where he wanted it to be at the bottom, then he added one of the coloured birthday cake digi's onto the back too. I love these cards!!
Just as we were getting changed into party clothes Mo decided he needed a little notepad for Ruby too ( the twins little sister) as she might be sad of not getting one (...arghhhhhh, 10 minute make was quickly put together and a little pencil too, but no time to take piccies of that one!!!)
Well that's all from me and my little squidger today. We are going to snuggle up and watch a film now whilst our slow cooker cooks our tea (...after planning chicken casserole Mo decided a sausage casserole would be nicer!!!)
Thankyou for popping in on me, huge hugs

Rudolph boto chrimbles!!
Paper - Twelve Crafters Crafting from Funky Hand.
Morning Peeps!!!!
How are you all this frosty, chilly morning? Little Mo and I are up, dressed and ready for breakfast with Sophia, then when we have dropped her off to her nursery we are off to fetch my niece and nephew, Mo is soooooo excited!! he loves having them here and has got a lovely little party lunch all planned out along with some crafty bits he wants to do so it will be such a lovely day.
I have a little 3x3 card to share again today. I love this card so much, Rudolph Boto is the cutest and the texty paper from Funky Hand looks so awesome behind him. I added a squidgey little martha drippy goo border for snow and added a little bling to his nose. At 3x3 these cards were seriously cute and I nearly hid them in a draw to keep!!!!! :) :) ....though Mo found them and stole one!!!!
So what are you all up to today? Somewhere in between all the running around after my little peeps today I need to finish off 2 altered notebooks that Mo ordered for his little friends tomorrow and make some family christmas cards (...yup...I still haven't done them.....!!)
Have a fabby day peeps and thankyou for popping in on me!

Allsorts Blue and Brown challenge
gardeners twine
glamour dust
hearts cut on my cricut
snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder
blue bling!!
The challenge over on allsorts challenge blog for the next 2 weeks is Blue and Brown. I love blue and brown and one of my favourite Funky Hand downloads has blue and brown in such a perfect mix that I just had to use that to make chrimble cards for all my friends at work.
I am also popping it in the cupcake craft challenge blogs--dont look at light challenge .
I am also popping it in the cupcake craft challenge blogs--dont look at light challenge .
I printed out 2 of the papers from my download. The texted paper is brown with blue and black merry christmas written all over it and I love it! the paper on the heart is brown with a snowflake design on it, I embossed the hearts with my cuttlebug snowflakes folder just to add a bit of umpf!!
I added a sprinkling of glamour dust around the edges of my merry chrsitmas paper and then adhered it to my card. The twine around the centre is just gardeners twine from the garden centre. its quite a thick one because I like to 'fluff' the ends of my knots a bit!!!(...he he he! makes them all frayed and fuzzy like me!!!!!!)
I popped the finished hearts out on foam and added a little blue blingy gem to the top corner of them. These cards are so cute because they are just tiddly 3x3 size!
Right off to get on with some notebooks Little Mo has requested for his 2 friends at school for their birthday on tuesday. He is trying to get himself brave enough to go to the party so please keep your fingers crossed for him that he manages it as he gets so nervous about parties bless him!!
Thankyou for popping in on me!

Tilda mini wreath hanging decoration.
Hello Peeps!!
I promise I haven't disappeared!! I have been soaking up some time with my Little Mo and I have been loving it!! I can't wait to have some days now without the hustle bustle of the school run!!
So, today I wanted to share a little hanging decoration I have made. The challenge over on the TOMIC blog this week is christmas decoration so it seemed like a perfick time to share this little cutie!! I went for the traditional chrimble colours for this one and used some pine branches that I bought from the range (...could I find anymore after making 10 little wreaths??....noooooooo!! grrrr!!)
I used my hot glue gun for attaching some cute teeny jinlgy bells and tilda herself along with the sentiment at the top and I love these little hanging decorations, they are so christmassy and cheery.
Mo's cousins's are coming for the day on monday and he is soooo excited! he bought some party food today so they can have a little party lunch!! cute!!
Right off to bath my little squidger now as he is so tired from a busy couple of days that he is nodding off on the settee as I type!! its a hard life being 7 you know!!!!!! romfl !!!!
Huge hugs and thankyou for popping in on me

pastely chrimbles!!!
Papers- 12 Crafters Crafting from Funky Hand.
Image- Digi from Heather Ellis.
Afternoon Peeps!
I have had a busy morning catching up with some orders that I had for some 8x8 chrimbles cards.
I have to say I am loving the 8x8 size, oodles of fun to play around with layouts and images.
The papers are deliciously pastelly and I went for pastel blues and pinks with my promarkers to colour in these gorgeous little Heather Ellis pure innocence digi stamps.
I added some distressing to the edges to pop the papers out a bit. They are all from the latest Funky Hand Papercraft factory cd rom, 12 Crafters Crafting and I love it. you can go from traditional colours to something a bit more pastelly to something completely funky all with the touch of one button, yey!!!!I just had to add some puffy stuff to her bobbles and a bit of snow around the bottom too, I couldn't resist!!!
The ribbon is Funky Hand too, from the september song ribbon pack.
A little bit of SU bannerage and they were done, so much fun though!!
I am popping these 2 in for the following challenges.......
Papertake weekly challenge blogs- Anything Goes with a dangly option!! ( dangly tree charms on Grace and Risa's cards)
Totally Papercrafts- Let it snow
Cutie Pie- Pastel christmas colours.
Off to see Mo in his christmas play now!!

Door hanging santa letters!!
Papers and digi stamps - Twelve crafters Crafting from Funky Hand.
Door hanger template- Craft the Year Away from Funky Hand.
Afternoon Peeps!!
A bit of a quicky from me today!! we have had another lovely day today. A very relaxed and lazy one really. We popped to B&Q to get some red chipped bark for Mo's little garden bench planter so we can pop his little christmas lights in, its raining here today but I will try and get a piccy tomorrow as it looks lovely. This afternoon we have been to the christmas market in the village where Mo goes to school. It was lovely.
Then a teeny bit of quicky crafting for me! Mo wanted to make some gifts for his friends for the end of term as it is his birthday on the last day of term. I thought it would be nice to make some door hangers using my Funky Hand papercraft factory cd roms because Mo is really good at using those. He chose the papers and I had a lovely idea to turn them into santa letter door hangers, just to help santa remember what the children asked for when he gets to their bedroom!!!! I had to giggle though as Mo won't write a letter to santa, he says he is just happy with whatever he gets (....which is supercute and makes it easy to get him gifts!! he says christmas is about family and baby jesus not presents!!! he has been like that since he was a toddler!! cute!!)
Firstly I opened up Craft the Year Away and chose the door hanger template. Then to use it with the papers on Twelve Crafters Crafting I simply changed edition. (..you can do that by clicking on the change edition button under the colourway titles to use the templates with any of the last 3 papercraft factories.)
I did the typing for the letter bit using the workspace.
All that was left to do then was print, cut and tie a little ribbon around them. I didn't want to do too much else to them as Mo wants to take in some sweets to give out too. we have made 30 of these this afternoon and he wants little sour cream containers for the sweets so that's next weekend's job!!
Right off to snuggle up with a film now!! Harry Potter 1 today!

Mo's pink grapefruit christmas tree decorations tutorial!!!
Afternoon peeps!!!
Today we have a bloggy post from the squishably cute Little mo!!!! it is all about his tree decorations made with pink grapefruit.
Its in Little Mo's words but mummy gets to type because she is quickerer.
All you need to do is slice up a pink grapefruit in slices of about 1cm thick (...get Mummy or another growed up person to do this as its a bit tricky for small peeps!!) then dry every circle and give it a squish with the tea towel to get some of the juice out. You can use oranges too can't you mummy.
Then put it on the kitchen radiator for a few days (...mummy note... we have a double radiator and Mo loves to watch the drying out process which takes a couple of days on our radiator, he likes to see how it has changed everyday but you can put the slices on a grill tray in the oven at 110 degrees c for 3 hrs and it dries out that way too)
Buy some of them tree hangy thingies, my mummy buys them in the garden centre, don't you mummy? the one with the cool decorations and movey rudolph ( was going to leave that bit out but its too cute!!)
and you push one end through a little bell that jingles and then push your grapefruit on it too, see here's mine on its hangy thing with my little red bell
Then get some nice ribbon and tie a knot in it up from the bell bit.
I hanged mine on my christmas tree but sometimes I like them on my door and on my radiator and even in my car near my window on that thing mummy holds onto when daddy is driving.........( mummy note...pmsl laughing at this point!!!)
This is what it looks like in my tree
He he he he!! Mummy is back to write her bit now. How cute was that?!! it was too funny to write it all down ready this afternoon but he decided he didn't want to do a 'video tube' as he has a cough and might spoil it!!!
He absolutely loves making these those so if your little peeps need a bit of something to do then have a go at this one, Mo would love to see them if anyone else makes some.
I hope its ok with the Allsorts challenge blog girls for me to pop mo over in their going in circles challenge too.
Back with a me post tomorrow!!!

The challenge over on the papertake weekly challenge blog is a delicious sketch by the equally delicious Dawny P. I do so love a Dawny sketch so I just had to work along to it. I think this sketch is going to get some serious use from me as it is just so lovely to work with. thankyou's Dawny! xx
The papers are MME wild asparagus and they go so perfick with the image! too cute!! and the little buggies are some that have been in my stash for sooooo long!! but they seemed just right for a cute little toady card!!
Promarkers for this one were...
skin- blush, soft peach and peach.
Toady suit- pear green, olive green, sunflower and gold.
Christy also made up some cute sentiments for these little guys and inside Mo's birthday card it says " You are toadally awesome" but dopey head me didn't take a piccy of the inside!! I will take one later if I remember!!
So if you want to see some more creations from the Tiddly Inkers pop on over here to the Tiddly Inks blog to drool over every bodies yummo makes and then go here to the shop to pick up your little somethings! sqeeeeee they are all too cute!!!
