Tiddly Inks Challenge 97- Make it like Lou..!!

Image- Wryn Goes Caroling from Tiddly Inks.
Papers-  Glitz Joyeaux Noel from Dies to Die For.

Its Tiddly Tuesday!! yey! that means its time for an exciting new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and a gorgeous new wryn too!! super yey!!!!
So first the new challenge! and this week its a super fun one for me because the challenge is.....
Make it like Lou!!

squee! thats me!!!! he he he he!!! and here's a piccy of the card you need to use as your inspiration...
You can go with the stamp, the layout, the colours...just use the photo as your inspiration and please remember to use a Tiddly Inks image.

for my challenge card this week I couldn't resist using Wryn Goes Caroling. I teamed her up with some gorgeous new Glitz design Joyeaux Noel papers, they are so yummy. I stamped on the distressed cream looking on with my penny Black Christmas Story slapstick stamp. The little sentiment on the heart is a Molly Blooms one. I added a teensy pearl to the middle of it. I bought both of the stamps on my little trip out to Sir Stampalot on saturday and I love them both!

For the colours on Wryn herself I tried to go for a lovely vintage sepia look using just 4 flexmarkers (...well it had to be using just 4 because I have ....just 4!!!!! romfl!!!!) here's a teeny row of pens used....

oooh and before I forget there's a new Wryn out today!!! wohoo!! she's adorable. here she is on my big sisters birthday card....

I even linked her to the shop for you because I am so super helpful.....:) :) :)

This morning Little Mo and I are off to take my mum out to meet my grandad in wragby for a cooked breakfast. It is becoming a weekly little trip out for me, mum and grandad so I am super excited to take Mo along and you can guess how excited Mo is!!! I am just so super happy that 4 generations of my family can still sit down in a little cafe and have a meal together. Then tonight my niece Lily-Boo is coming for a sleepover and then tomorrow wooohhooooooo! its halloween!!! I cannot wait, I absolutely adore halloween and Little Mo's excitment for the whole day followed by a halloween trick or treat walk around our street.
We only go to houses with a lit pumpkin outside, I have always taight my children only to knock on those houses because its a bit like a silent invitation to go, if I don't see a pumpkin I respect the wishes of those people who are not celebrating by not knocking at their door.
I LOVE our halloween walk and Scott and I always get dressed up too, I am not sure I will ever give up our halloween walk and will be making Mo come home for it for the rest of my days!! he he he!!!
Right I have a little furball princess giving me "please can I have my breakfast mummy" whines and eyes so I had better go feed her!! she is such a piggly wiggly we had to get her a food bowl with little mountains in it to slow her down when she is eating!! it works fantastically though and she is eating a lot nicer now.
Thank you for popping in on me!

Happy Day ....

 Papers - MME Summer Splash.
Morning everyone!
Its my day to post a little Lou make over on the Dies to Die For inspiration blog and I just had to share it on my bloggy too because he's just so adorable.

I hope its a whole tonne warmer where you are than here in Lincolnshire because its sooo freezy I could of stayed tucked up in my duvet this morning!!! but I wanted to share this cute little Greeting farm guy with you! I adore their little faces! they are such a joy to colour up.

I used up the last bits of my treasured MME Summer Splash paper to make my gorgeous Little Mo his birthday card and a little matching notepad, its his birthday in December and I am quite proud of myself for being super organised this year!!! I sometimes end up rushing the little guy a card out because I am in full chrimbles cards swing but this year my Little Mo comes first!! go mamma!!!

The papers had a little sheet of pennants and badges that you could cut out so I had lots of fun choosing the ones I fancied and then made a little row of pennants using the last squidge of my MME twine!!!

I stamped him out with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured him up with promarkers

Here's a closer look at the birthday card....

The little strips just behind him are borders from the same page as the gorgeous little pennants came from.I curled the edges of the pennants a little so they looked like they were blowing in the breeze.

Then I got busy on a matching notepad. I coloured him up slightly differently than the card but still using the same colour pens. The name is made with the Tim Holtz Chip Block Alphabet strip die.The little 'Happy Day' sentiment comes in the stamp set and I just stapled that on before adhering the whole piece to the front of the notepad.

I hope you enjoyed a little 'Happy Day' posting from me today!! He's just so cute you can't resist him really and I loved making this little pressie for my little guy, he will go crazy for it because it has dinosaurs on and he is always making notes and plans so a little notebook will be very happily received!!!

Yesterday we were finally able to set the little furball princess free on the big world streets for her first walkies and she loved it!!! here she is skipping along...
he he he he!!! she looked so teeny out there, I have to admit the harness she is wearing is probably going to sit at the back of our cupboard like it did when we had it for Zakky as I just prefer the control of a lead and collar. Furball Princess also went for her very first training session yesterday lunchtime and she loved that too!! she was quite happy pootling around the field and practising walking on her lead nicely. She practised turns and walking in front and sitting which was so much fun it left her like this.....
......for the entire afternoon!!! romfl!!!!! but she is sooooo cute!!!

Right I am off to soak up some time with my gorgeous Little Mo, its half term and we have a pj day planned. I have bought some microwave popcorn so we are going to get that in and snuggle up and watch a movie, this is my favourite kinda day.

Thank you for popping in on me, I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for me, they mean so much and keep me smiling all day as they pop into my inbox.

50th birthday card...

Evening Peeps!!
ooooh I am in by the skin of my teeth for a bloggy post tonight as we have just had such a wonderful day I almost forgot to post!

Please excuse the card piccy too because I took it with my phone. I made this card for a friend to give to her husband a couple of weeks ago for his 50th birthday. He loves being outdoors and does a lot of hiking and ski-ing in his spare time (...which isn't very much spare time so I know he really enjoys it when he does get chance to go).

I cut the 50 from some map paper and used it for the background too. The little forest along the bottom was cut from my plantin schoolbook cart. I did one larger than the other to make the forest look deep!!! :) and of course I just had to use a super duper LOTV boy to swing into outdoor action on the 50.

I added a little sentiment with my pooter and a little heart on twine along the bottom, its so hard to keep something manly!!!

Scott and I have just finished watching 'Wrath of the Titans', I really enjoyed it. Last night we watched 'Charlie St Cloud' and oh my gosh I adore that film, it was such a gorgeous film to watch and yup I cried like a big girls blouse almost all the way through it!!!!

Right cuppa and snoozles for me now I think!! the clock change didn't work too well for the furball princess who wanted her brekkie early and the small 7 yr old who wanted morning snuggles whilst mummy and daddy were still totally dopey this morning!!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!

Little Mo bloggy post...

Hello Peeps!
well it isn't really a Lou bloggy post today, its a Little Mo bloggy post!!
I haven't got a make today because I have had a super lovely ride out to sir Stampalots to see Lou, Chris, Lousie and Fleury. The Sir Stampalot hotties wereon fire with gorgeous makes as always and clare rowlands was their Molly Blooming away with gorgeousness too!! It was so lovely to see them all and get my top up of hugs, they are all so clever. I had to leave before Fleur could make it over but sending her some cyber snugglies!!

On the way home we popped into my friend Andrea's gorgeous little craft shop in ruskington and Mo fell in love with this little house shelf. Andrea had made an awesome halloween one and he really rather fancied that for his half term making!! so mummy sacrificed her neeeeed for a 12x12 paper pad and Mo chose some goodies from the £1 basket to pop inside, he got busy on it as soon as we had walked through the door!!

Making some blood with red food colouring and glossy accents...
mmmmmm, where shall I put these bits.....
Adding a bit of spidey web...

and this cute little guy is "pumpky" !! Mo made him out of fimo last week so he was very pleased pumpky has a new home to live in!!
We have had so much fun with how far we got with it this afternoon but now I have a hungry and tired little man so I am going to make some nando's chicken wraps for tea, get him bathed and snuggle up so we can start again tomorrow!! he has already decided he needs a little bottle of frogs eyes so I have been sifting through some beads!!!

Thank you for popping in on my little man!!

On cloud 9.....

Morning Peeps!!
Well its friday and that is of course fabulous!!! :) so I am sharing a little bit of Tiddly Inking with you this morning!
This is the super cute new little Wryn that Christy released on monday,Wryn on cloud 9 , she is just so sweet.

I was in an autumny mood so I coloured her up in some yummy oranges and used the crab apple too papers from nitwits as they have this lovely kinda sepia toning to them which is just so pretty. The little flower is made with my Die-namics layered rose die and I followed the sketch from the MFT challenge...

and I am popping her over in the Autumn colours challenge over on the Allsorts challenge blog.

Right hi ho hi ho its off to work I go...and little Mo and Poppy get a daddy day because school is out today! Mo is so happy this morning as he was more than ready for a break. He and Scott have had rotten coughs and colds so I am guessing there will be a day of playing skylanders and vegging out for them while I am at work!!

Have a fabulous friday peeps!!

Saturated Canary challenge 29- Shaped Cards..

Afternoon Peeps!!
I hope you are all having an awesome day. Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated canary challenge blog and this time its a super fun challenge of ......

shaped cards.

So in a nutshell I had soooooooo much fun playing with the shape of my card!!! I just couldn't resist another spooky make so of course it was zombie time!!

I printed out and coloured in Roller Skating Zombie and then cut her out. Then I cut out 3 gravestones from my paper dolls cricut cart and spookied them up with some silver ink and white gel pen.

To hold the scene of gravestones together I cut a strip of black card at 2.5" x 8.5" and then folded it into 3. I arranged the gravestones and then cut around the edges of them. To hold it closed the medium gravestones slips behind the smallest ones.

Here's another piccy with it a little open.....

I added some spookable foggy/cobwebby yumminess and a big juicy spider to finish the scene off. Here's a little inside view of it open...

He, he, he, he!!! too much fun!! Now I have to tell you my little canary teamies totally rocked this challenge so don't forget to pop in on their stunning creations....I had to giggle a bit when I added mine to our post as there were all these stunningly beautiful cards and then along came Lou's zombie.....romfl!!!

I am popping this in the challenge over on Charisma cards which is don't be square.

So pop in and see what my awesome canary teamies have been making and join in with the fun but.....

You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi,
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp
and follow the theme of the challenge.

Its a work day for me today so I will see you all for a bloggy womble when I have had my tea and a good deep bath tonight but for now I will leave you with a piccy of the furball princess in my craft room yesterday...
Awwwwww!!!....this crafting stuff is just way too exhausting for a furball princess!!

She is such a cutie! she has taken to begging me to pop her in Mo's chair next to me( she's not tall enough to get up there on her own yet!!) when I am crafting and then just fall asleep but I had to giggle at her yesterday because she tucked her little head right in between her paws and snuggled right down into the chair!!

Have an awesome day peeps! thank you so much for popping in on me

Fairytale notes....

Morning Peeps!!

How are you all today? I am fabulous!! Romfl!!! Scott did some puppy playing with the furball princess and small prince this morning so I could get a little making time in!!

I have been rushed off my feet entertaining and snuggling my little furball Poppy because she is just so delicious I can’t resist but I was majorly missing crafty time too so needed a little balance this morning!! He he he!!

And anyways Krista drew this gorgeous fairytale girly and I could not resist printing her out straight away and doing some colouring. She is a freebie until Wednesday when Krista will be popping her in the Saturated Canary store and I just adore her.

I printed 4 out and used the same little pile o pens to colour them all in. I love doing this occasionally because it challenges me a bit to use the same colours differently on a project and I love seeing how different they all turn out. I had fun playing with those gorgeous tassels on her top/ skirt colouring them in differently to get a different take on them.
little pile o pens.....

I chose to use my mono one for this mornings crafty playtime and alter a little notebook.

The notebooks were 4 for £1 from the range a few months ago and they have just kinda sat on my shelf waiting for a bit of love (….ok..so that a small fib…they have been sat on my craft desk but its such a mess I didn’t find them until yesterday when I was having a small need a little space to craft tidy up…….:)

Anywho's, I cut her with a deckled edge nestie and then backed her onto some black card, then a bit of super yummy Salt And Pepper Funky Hand download paper later she was a gorgeous altered notebook!!

I also used Die-namics Mini Royal Roses and my Lord Tim Chip Block die, a Cheery Lynn exotic butterfly and a really good spray of crafters companion glitter spray. I love this stuff, she looks so sparkly and magical. Here's a more sparkly piccy....

The black lace down the edge was a total bargain too, Scott bought me it from Boyes last monday, it was in the bargain basket and cost just 40p for a huge bundle.

Well, that's me for today!! Little Mo has a swimming lesson this morning and Poppy has some serious menacing to do.......he he he he!!! gotta love a puppy!!!

Have an awesome sunday everyone, thank you for popping in on me!

Ahoy there Tilda and a bookmark.....

 Morning Peeps!!

Well are you ready for some giggling? This little Tilda card is the card I made last night to share with everyone over on the Dies to Die for blog. I happily sat there making away and thoroughly enjoyed my little hour of crafting, its quite amazing how much of my time has been zapped up by the furball princess and obviously it is effecting my dopey little brain too because.......then realised I couldn't find the stamps in the shop....romfl!!!
so I had to have another make for the blog and share Tilda over here on my blog!!!

And here's the bookmark too....

I have been having a little play with the Die-namics  bookmark stamp and die set and ooooh I am loving it!! this is the first make I have done so far but I can see a whole lot more coming this afternoon.

I cut the bookmark and then added the circle stamp and the book stamp to the top. I sewed a little MME merry and bright twine through the little book and glued it down to make its own mini bookmark.

I had a little scrap of MME Summer Splash paper that I stuck onto the bottom of the bookmark and then I stamped this gorgeous sentiment onto a bit of the kraft card and added a little twine under that too.

I stamped with black onyx versafine ink, I love how yummy and crisp it is on sentiments.

Sorry for the ever so pants picture but the light here this morning is terrible!!

Did anyone else watch the space jump last night? we did!! we watched it live on youtube! it was absolutely amazing! Scott, Mo, Ryan and Ryan's friend Charlie all huddled around my laptop at the kitchen table and watched the last hour of the ascent and the jump. Mo was absolutely glued to it and to see him so excited and clapping with such excitement when the man landed his parachute was just such a joy. It was a late night for Mo but so worth it.
Thank you for popping in on me this morning

Lift like a girl....

Afternoon Peeps!!
How are you all this fine sunday afternoon? I am good. I have had a wonderful day so far . Mo had his swimming lesson and then we went to my mums to help dad put a shed up in the garden. we had yummy bacon, egg and mushroom baps for lunch and I even got a squidge of crafting done when we got home, happy days :) :)

So I just had to play with Krista's new image Lift like a girl. I decided to make a little diet pack! I made a cute little front and then inside I made a little pocket for popping your fav diet recipe's or exercise idea's and then I made a few little cards to record any weight/inch losses and thoughts for that week. I think its kinda cute!! she is coloured up with promarkers.
I made the sentiment in word and then just punched it out.

The cards are held in front of the pocket with 2 little card candies on foam dots.

So thats me for today. The chicken is roasting in the oven and Mo is playing with one of his little buddies upstairs so I am going to have a cuppa and a quick bloggy womble!!

thank you for popping in on me

Image- Witchkeys from Saturated Canary.
Afternoon Peeps!!
I hope you are all having an awesome day. Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated canary challenge blog and this time its a wonderful photo inspiration challenge. Here's the photo.........
photo
oooooh I love these spooky autumnal colours, they are just divine.

I used the little trio of Witchkeys on my card today. I printed them out onto a large luggage tag and left them uncoloured.I tied a bit of thread around the end of the tag, added some spider web and a spider and then roughed up the edges with some distress inks.
Then using I embossed a spooky house and distressed strips onto some c'oredinations card and gave them a good rub to get the core colour to pop through in places. I distressed all the edges and added a yummy bit of spider web and a plastic spider to it!!

The little stamps on the tag are from the  CC Designs Halloween Logos set and the corners are Cherry Lynn Lace Deco B  .

I am popping this in the MAWTT challenge blogs Tag It challenge.

So pop in and see what my awesome canary teamies have been making and join in with the fun but.....

You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp
and follow the theme of the challenge.

I couldn't resist popping another little Poppy piccy on for you all so here's my little furball princess just getting ready for a snoozley this morning....
