Fairytale notes....

Morning Peeps!!

How are you all today? I am fabulous!! Romfl!!! Scott did some puppy playing with the furball princess and small prince this morning so I could get a little making time in!!

I have been rushed off my feet entertaining and snuggling my little furball Poppy because she is just so delicious I can’t resist but I was majorly missing crafty time too so needed a little balance this morning!! He he he!!

And anyways Krista drew this gorgeous fairytale girly and I could not resist printing her out straight away and doing some colouring. She is a freebie until Wednesday when Krista will be popping her in the Saturated Canary store and I just adore her.

I printed 4 out and used the same little pile o pens to colour them all in. I love doing this occasionally because it challenges me a bit to use the same colours differently on a project and I love seeing how different they all turn out. I had fun playing with those gorgeous tassels on her top/ skirt colouring them in differently to get a different take on them.
little pile o pens.....

I chose to use my mono one for this mornings crafty playtime and alter a little notebook.

The notebooks were 4 for £1 from the range a few months ago and they have just kinda sat on my shelf waiting for a bit of love (….ok..so that a small fib…they have been sat on my craft desk but its such a mess I didn’t find them until yesterday when I was having a small need a little space to craft tidy up…….:)

Anywho's, I cut her with a deckled edge nestie and then backed her onto some black card, then a bit of super yummy Salt And Pepper Funky Hand download paper later she was a gorgeous altered notebook!!

I also used Die-namics Mini Royal Roses and my Lord Tim Chip Block die, a Cheery Lynn exotic butterfly and a really good spray of crafters companion glitter spray. I love this stuff, she looks so sparkly and magical. Here's a more sparkly piccy....

The black lace down the edge was a total bargain too, Scott bought me it from Boyes last monday, it was in the bargain basket and cost just 40p for a huge bundle.

Well, that's me for today!! Little Mo has a swimming lesson this morning and Poppy has some serious menacing to do.......he he he he!!! gotta love a puppy!!!

Have an awesome sunday everyone, thank you for popping in on me!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

  2. Excellent idea with printing out so many of the same image, I'm starting to do that because often more than not I'm not as happy with my first coloring. :) It is good practice. The notebook looks fantastic in all the grey.
