Hello Chicka!!!!

Stamps- For the birds clear stamp set from Tiddly Inks.
Leaves from Grow Old Friends clear stamp set from Tiddly Inks.

Afternoon Peeps!!!

So this morning I was sat thinking...mmmm...no-one liked my fabulous friday Tiddly Inks post :(.....then I took Mo to golf and had some facebook time, a bit of lunch, exciting post and then thought sob sob...no-one liked my Tiddly Inks fabulous friday post...so I went to check it was on my blog and....nope!! bad blogger strikes again and it is still sat in scheduled!! pmsl!!!!! soooo...here it is!!!!

oooh I had so much fun with my clear shrinkies and Tiddly Inks stamps last night! I am so excited to show you my fab friday post as its a little leap into something different!!....shrinkie's rings!!!!!! My friend posted a link to this tut on a facebook page a couple of weeks ago and I loved it so I had to give it a go!!!

I cut my shrinkie sheet at 1"wide and rounded the corners with my punch (it can be quite sharp if you don't!!) and then got to playing birdie!!!

I stamped the sentiment in the center first and then added a couple of the cute little birdies, LOVE them!!! then I went around the edges with the leaf stamp from the Grow old friends set.

I gave them a light colour with some pencils and that was the job done. Out came my heat gun and I loved watching ti curl up!! I wrapped it around a marker pen I had hanging around that I had slipped my ring onto to see if it was the right size.

Here's a side view...

Here's the back with the little openening part....
and here's daftly excited me with the ring on my little chunky fingy!!!....

It's soooooo cute!!!

Huge hugs Lou xxxxx

  2. What a fun idea! I'm going to try making these for my granddaughters. I think they'll love them, especially if I add a couple of flat-backed gems to them. LOL
