Phewsh!!! thats a lot of really cool prizes!!!!

so for my make I just had to get colouring with one of my new stamps from the new fairy range. I am super lucky as my Aunty gave me some pennies to take with me on the open day so I could get some bits and I bought the whole 10 new gorgeous fairies, I just love them. I coloured up Midsummer night for this one. I am being brave and popping her over on the Fairies challenge over on the LOTV idea's to inspire blog too! go me!!

I chose some really midsummer nights dreamy type papers so that I could get that early evening feel to my card, I wanted magical for a magical celebration!!! I stamped her up and cut her out with my floral oval nestie,I snipped around the edge of the stitching and then stitched pink and silver metallic thread through the little holes by hand.

I wanted her to look watercoloury so I used a few lines of colour from my promarkers and a whole tonne of my blender pen and I LOVE how she came out!!

Then it was a case of layer up and fru fru Lou style!!! I added a squidge of personal impressions puff white to the edges of my swirly heart branch just to make it umpfy!!! and a couple of pearly stamens...which are kinda tricky to see in the photo!! but it all looks so sweet together!!! and it has some sparkly glitz which doesn't show up too well either but looks cute!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

  4. Superb card Lou, I actually did think you'd given distress ink colouring a try at first glance (which was a bit daft of me considering it's a Passion for Promarkers post lol, but still).
Love the flowery paper you've chosen for the lower half of the card, it really does look like she's in a little garden :) xx

So many gorgeous details and I also think your colouring is stunning on this one. I thought you'd gone for distress inks! So clever to use your PM's and blender that way. Superb effect!!
