Happy Mothers Day everyone!

Good Morning peeps!!

well I have been spoilt this morning. Scott got up with Mo and I got to stay in bed until 7am and then I got some gorgeous cards from my little boys, a new demenco willow tree ornament called 'the promise' .

We are just getting ready to go for a walk to clumber park. I love clumber park and I am really looking forward to just pootling around the lake and playing with Mo.
This LO is made with my favourite picture of me and mo.
Pictures of me are quite hard to come by as I really don't like having my photo taken!! Friends and family are wise to this now and they tend to snap away at me while I am not looking, but this one I actually sat down for. It was taked at norfolk lavenedar in the little garden last year. We are going to go back this year and take the same photo again to see how much the willow has grown on the little house we are sat in front of.

I made it with our challenge on the UK crafters thread on the CMB in mind. Our challenge mistress Kerry (....yep, still makes her sound like a woman dressed in black skin tight leathers, with lots of studs and high heeled black patent boots brandishing a whip doesn't it!!!!!) chose the tree cut on page 72 of the wild card cart and buttons for this time.
I love these challenges as I too often forget the litle gems my cricut carts have tucked away on them and doing these little challenges reminds me just how cool my cricut really is!!!

The letters and hearts are from all mixed up and glazed, i love how thye came out. The wild card tree I cut twice and ran the heart cardstock through my cuttlebug to get the pop out hearts and the brown layer of tree through my cuttlebug with my script folder for the bark of the tree trunk. I used a little heart button on the tree and 3 little flower head shaped buttons on the plantin schoolbook grass. The string around the photo and he bottom of the page is just garden twine!! but it looks lovely with the willow in the photo.

Right off for a walk now. Have a super mothers day everyone in the UK!!
Hugs

Mothers day challenge card!!

Yippeee!!! we got a lovely bit of sunshine here today and it has lifted my spirits to see the sun, hear the birds happily tweeting away and watch the little peeps at work enjoyig running around in the sunshine.

It inspired me to get out my boo's and my gorgeous sunshine papers from my do-crafts goody bag and make this cute mothers day card.

I coloured this cute hedgehog from the mothers day digi set from lily-boo's boutique with my promarkers and cut it with my nesties. I wanted it to stand out a bit so I made an easel card with only half a front piece ( hope that makes sense!!!!). I used the flowers, ribbon and bow and one of the tiny buttons from my goody bag too.
This card is the one I made for my DT card for Lily-boo too challenge blog, the challenge is mothers day so I used another one of the mothers day digi's.
Thank you for popping in on me!!!

Mothers day easel card.

Hello peeps!!!
I am 'chill'-axin in my craft room tonight after a busy week at work. I decided to make a start on my mothers day cards.

Do you ever struggle with making one different (...or better!!!) than last years effort? Omg I do!!!! I saw an awesome heart shaped easel card on the just magnolia blog(...i think thats where it was...) So this year I am going to do shaped easel cards, I love easel cards and this one was sooooo easy!!!!
Here it is.......
All I did was use my wildcart cart to cut the heart card out,(I think I did it at
4 3/4 " to get the envelope made too). I used the negative left from the card base as a template to cut the topper piece for the easel part and then scored the base card at 2" before attaching the heart.
I made the standy up bit with martha and a bit of ribbon tied in a bow so that the heart topper sits just nicely in the middle of the bow.
I coloured tilda ,she's so stinkin cute, she looks like she's saying " i love you this much mum!!"
I cut the stitched heart element out too and stiched t with some gold thread, I popped the negative bit through my cuttlebug to emboss it and popped it behind the stitched heart.

I wanted tilda to look like she was stepping through the heart so I popped here little foot inside.
I cut 'mum' from my ACY cart and added a bit of inking and a few pearls. I also doodled some kisses either side of the word mum.
Here's a side view.......

I am so pleased with this one as I have been neglecting doug the big bug a little recently and favouring my princess b ( yep.... I have lost it, I named my bugs!!! Doug is my Big E and Princess b is my baby!!!!! lol!!!) I sometimes forget just how much fun the cards are on wildcard and so easy to do too.

I have crafty club tomorrow so I am looking forward to that, its so nice to catch up with everyone and have fun creating alongside each other, their is so much talent and inspiration when you all get together.
See you soon,

Hugs

Booti-ful birthday card!!!

I have had this awesome template for this bra and pants card from stamp owls blog for ages(....2 years I think!!!) and I have used it so many times.

I noticed a few of them popping up on the cricut mb so I wanted to share this link to stamp owls blog too as for those nights when you just don't feel like getting out your cricut ( like me tonight because i feel rough!!) this is super.

This one is for a lovely friend of mine at work whose birthday is tomorrow. I love the pink embossed paper on this one ( thank you ikea!!) and the black lace goes so nicely with it. The card is cream hammered card for a more realistic skin look!!!! can't see it very well in the photo though.

The lacey bit is paper adhesive lace and I just pleat it to get it to go nicely around the edges of the bra and pants. A little black bow with a gem on and it is done. You can do them really quick and simple with the template but I love to take a bit more time and perfect the look of the lacey bit, makes it look a bit more lush!!!!

Its a little bit cheeky but I like it!!!!

Thank you for popping in xxxxx

Window wiper!!!!

Hello!!!

We have a wet and dreary day here today but little mo and I have not wasted it!! We went mud squelching and puddle splashing this morning, lots of fun and giggles from little mo!! wish I had taken my camera. Then we did the boring tasks of cleaning out our rabbit simba and tidying up the back garden.

I was still feeling in a valentines kind of crafty mood so this afternoon I have been having fun playing with the new lily-boo's boutique window collection.

I really enjoyed making this card, Mo was poottling along on nick jnr and chatting away to me and it just made my afternoon so nice!!!
So here is my window wiper card!!!!

I printed it out twice and for the top part cut out the girl, plant and just the window frame to get some dimension in the card. I coloured her in with my copics and added a bit of sparkle with my spicas ( doesn't come out in the pictures but it looks really pretty in real life!!!! the window frame is glossed with glossy accents ( looks like white PVCU!!!! lol !!!!)

I embossed the background with hearts and added a bit of ribbon. On my little panels and my pop up wiper bit I used some silver mirri board and my love language cuttlebug folder again!! its one of my fav's and I use it a lot!!!!!

When Mo has gone to bed I am going to watch a film with scott , we were going to watch 'The time travellers wife' but I watched that last night instead ( ....oh so sad, I cried buckets!!! daft bat!!!)

Thank you for popping in!!!

edwin valentine!

My mum rang last night with a request for a valentines card for her friend's teenage son to give to his girlfriend of 3 years. He wanted something a bit special and he couldn't find what he wanted in the shops so this is what I came up with.

I wanted to personalise it a bit so I printed out her name on edwin's balloon. I glazed the balloon and the little heart on edwin's jumper and gave martha a bit of a whirl on the heart cardstock and gold vellum.
I made 2 little tickets with some gold vellum by stamping with my versamark dazzle and heat embossed them. I used my fav inkadinkado embossing powder that I have had for 4 years, it is so good and just seems to last forever!!!
A bit of goldy coloured organza ribbon and a little gemstone bling and I called the front done!!!

I made the inside to match as I had a couple of scraps of the heart card left. I cuttlebug embossed the gold vellum on the inside with the little hearts embossing folder that came in my love language set.
I think it turned out cute, I hope he likes it and claire likes her personlised valentine's card!!!!
