Love in my draws!! My Funky Fifteenth make!!

Good morning peeps!

Well two days has passed since the Funky Fifteenth so that means its my turn to share with you my take on our lovely Jules's 'Show Us Your Heart' challenge over on Get Funky. ( click on the linky to go see Jules post and gorgeous card if you haven't already seen it!).

Urgh, its just a box you think..........but ohhhhhhhh..........
Urgh...its a box with a lid then you all think....but wait....oooooooooh (can you tell I was excited making this yet? :) )
I decided to get all technical for mine and made myself some cute little draws to put little choccies in for my amazing hubby. I adore the new Love,Love,Love download in the shop so that just had to get used along with my trusty cricut for cutting the heart.

At only £3.19 this is such a fabulous download! there's paper for boys in abundance on it which is great for me as the projects for the boys in my life are the ones I always struggle with!!!

So, a quick reminder that to enter you need to grab your favourite Funky Hand papers and add a heart and then linky your entry HERE on Jules's first post.

If you need a bit of help in the heart department our lovely Anice has been busy creating you all a gorgeous Heart paper freebie to use if you would like to.

And of course, don't forget to pop back into Get Funky on Friday 19th Feb when Anice will be strutting her stuff with her make!!

Tiddly Inks Challenge 38- Monochromatic.

Morning peeps!!

Its Tiddly Tuesday again!!! That means yummy new images in the shop and a new and exciting challenge on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog!!! yey!!! I love tuesdays!!!
So onto the Tiddly challenge for this week which is.......

Monochromatic

so grab your fav Tiddly Inks images and get on with creating some monochromatic gorgeousness!!
Link them using the little linky frog over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog before 10pm CST on monday 21st Feb. Don't forget to womble over and see what the Tiddly Inkers have been making to inspire you, they are absolutely amazing.

For mine I used the super cute Cookie Bugg and her set which is called Cookies Galore.I love the sentiment!!!
I wanted to keep it simple and I chose brown for my monochromatic colour scheme.
I coloured and glossy accented the choccy chips in her cookie to make them look even more delicious and also dotted some around the bottom part of my card for more choccy chips!!!
Mo loves this card and wants to pinch it for his teacher, Mrs.Kay. She is the most awesome teacher and Mo thinks the world of her. He came home so happy after his castle visit yesterday. Mo struggles with school trips and really gets himself in a worry. He said he got upset and cried and she got him a tissue and made him feel all better and brave. I am so proud and extremely lucky to have such an awesome and caring lady look after Mo all day. Thank you Mrs. Kay xxxxx

I also want to remind you thatit is the Funky Fifteenth of the month today and the lovely Jules is our hostess with the mostest so she will be setting us all off with an exciting new challenge for the month over on Get Funky. Don't forget to check back every 2 days and see what the next Funkette has to inspire you!!!

Right, Hi ho Hi ho, its off to work I go!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!!!

This card is my gorgeous hubby's valentines card from me. Anybody who knows us will know that Scott is a complete and utter gadget boy and awesome with computers. He is also a completely awesome husband and I am thankful for him every single day, not just on valentines day!!!!
We had a lovely night last night watching Russell Crowe in Robin  Hood. I loved it!!
I have been spoilt rotten for valentines day with some new pj's, a lounge suit and the 3 twilight films on blue ray.
I will be able to share the gift I have made for Scott on thursday!!! though its not as fancy as all the bits I got for valentines day!!! bless him, he's such a super guy and I love him so much. Sorry for the soppiness but he really is an amazing guy.
Love at first byte from Tiddly Inks was the perfect image for a card made especially for my hubby and the papers from Funky Hands Colour Me Happy and just amazing because they are fab for a boy card in this colourway and the dashy one so reminds me of computers and robots!!!
Mo is off for a school trip to the castle this morning which he is very excited about and I am off to work. It was grossand grey when we woke up but the sun is beginning to shine a bit now so I am hopeful it will clear up and be a jolly day after all.
Anyway, pack up to make so better get moving!

Love Love Love, bum bum bum bum, Love Love Love.....

Ok so did you like my beatles intro?!!!! :)

I have been having a bit of a play with Funky Hands fabulous Love Love Love download this morning!! Who could resist a bit of funkiness for valentines day?! I think they are just perfect.
The challenge over on papertake weekly is Have a Heart so I am popping these little cuties in  for that challenge!!!

The cuts on these cards are from my doodlecharms cart on my cricut, love that cart!!!!

So today I am multi tasking!! Mo and I are watching night at the museum 2 with popcorn whilst the cleaner soaks into the bath and the bleach soaks into the toilets! then onto the mountain of ironing I got washed over the last 2 days and fab hubby hung out to dry around the house whilst I was at craft club yesterday.
Mo wants to go on daddy's computer later so I am hoping to attempt to find my craft desk under all the mess while he does that and then hopefully we can have a lazy afternoon!!!

All the stamped sentiments on these cards come from the Love n That Betty stamp set, also from Funky Hand.

Right must get on!!

Loving Dawny's sketch!!!!

 Hello peeps!!!

Yup I am addicted to Dawny p's fab sketch on the LOTV challenge blog and have had to do some more!!!
I used the paper left from my challenge card to make another very similar one, different colour bike this time!!!
And some of my other basic grey paper to make the little rosie one.
The sun was actually shining which meant the picture taking was easy today ( no Lou cursing at pants lighting, yukky flash drowning out yummy card or trying to find the lightest windowsill in the house!!!!)
Its off to craft club for me tomorrow so I am going to be organised and go and have an hour out in my crafty garage sorting out some 'kits' for me to make up while I am there.
I have made 2 already ( ...and yup, they go with dawny's sketch....again!!!) so I figure by the time I take out for wombling around and chatting at craft club I could do with 4 more sets so I have 6 or 7. If I actually manage to make them all I will blog my triumph tomorrow night when I get home!!!
Have a fabby friday peeps!!

LOTV challenge 84- sketch by dawny.

Me again!!!!
Well when I saw Dawny p's yummy sketch on the Lili of the valley challenge blog I just had to get straight on with my entry so here it is!!! If you want to see the yummy sketch and all the team LOTV's gorgeous cards you will have to womble over to their challenge blog!!! it is most definately worth a huge visit!!
So for my challenge card I used my gorgeous little Riding my bike  stamp. He got inked up quicker than a flash in rich cocoa memento ink  fora soft look and splodged down onto my paper for a good colouring with my promarkers and some frayed burlap distressing!! I was thinking muddy boys and all that!!!!
He is sitting on some very gorgeous, stroke only basic grey papers that have been nestled quietly in my paper cupboard for a long time!! I thought the bike paper was just perfect to go with him!!
The sentiment is LOTV too and came in the A5 set when I bought them from the LOTV stand at doncasters stamp magic last year.
Well, I promise I am going this time!!! its ben a bit of a boy cards day for me today!!! lol!!! ( scroll down for my Tiddly Inks Gamer boy card I posted earlier!!)
Off to feed the hungry little mo now who has informed me he is ...." so hungry that his little tummy is talking to me and says I need food mummy"!! romfl!!!
Huge hugs
Lou xxxx
