Best man and Maid of honour thank you cards!

Stamp- Groom Edwin from magnolia stamps.
Papers- Craft The Year Away from Funky Hand.
martha stewart embossed zig zag punch.
SU oval punch set.
Hello peeps!!!

Its another lovely sunny day here. I have got a load of washing out on the line to dry and Little mo and I have been for haircuts this morning. Little mo asked for a short back and sides but long on top and I had a very brave and whopping 3" cut off mine!!!! I feel fab and mo looks very cute!!!

So my little shares today are more of Gabby's thank you's for her wedding party. I have been carefully trying to make them all co-ordinate with papers and colour themes and I have really enjoyed pottling through them, a few more to go but I am so pleased I had my Craft The Year Away cd rom as there is no worrying about running out of my papers!! I have just been printing lots of the same few out!!

I really really like this one for Gabby's maid of honour who is also her sister and will also be very pregnant at the wedding so I wanted to make her something really sweet.
The butterfly and the branch from my Storybook cricut cart. I used the same butterfly button for the grown up bridesmaids, thiers had fluttery flight paths on but this one I wanted to be resting on a branch. I added some bling to the punched scalloped oval too for extra yumminess!!!

So this afternoon we are putting up our tent in the garden. Its a nice size tent for a bit of something to do and play in. Mo wants us to sleep in it tonight so Daddy is in the loft looking for our airbed!!!

Have a great day everyone!!
Huge hugs Lou xxxxx

Mother of the bride/groom thank you cards.

Morning peeps!!!

The sun is shining beautifully again here and I have been busy creating already this morning!!

I have been pootling along with gabby's wedding thank you card order and felt like making the mum's their cards this morning. I used some good old Funky Hand paper to match the others I have been doing and some simple black cardstock.

The embossed bits are divine swirls, they look so pretty and are just perfect for weddings!! the little flowers are Mo's punches...again!! but sooo cute.
Inside each there is a beautiful poem.

Mo and I had a fabulous day yesterday making houses for fairies and a cafe for hedgehogs!!! he was most pleased when the bread for the hedgehogs had gone (.....actually the dog ate that last night but I dont want to spoil my little mans image of happy hedgehogs nibbling wholemeal bread!!) and the fairies had been and left silvery trails (...many many thanks to mr slug for making mo's day!!!) .
Most of all I just love that he will sit for hours doing things like that! here is a piccy of some of the houses.

Right best go and get on with the best mans card and the fathers cards now!!!!!
have a fabby sunday peeps!!

Funky easter baskets!!!

Papers- Craft The Year Away from Funky Hand.
SU Boho flowers punch.
Martha Stewart frond punch.
Morning peeps!!!!

I have been a bit of a quiet blogger this week as I have been immersed in the twilight breaking dawn book that my lovely friend lent me, I read it over 3 nights and it was fabulous, I can't wait for the next film now!!!

So my little share for today is this super super cute little easter basket. I am completely blaming this new obsession for paper folding on my fabby and most creative friend Donna who shared the link to the youtube video from JenLowe this little origami box!!!!

I just had to make a funky little one as I had been printing out some Funky Hand papers earlier in the week and had these sitting on my craft desk. This little box was done with an 8x8 sqaure of paper.
I printed on both sides of my paper.

Now a warning....these little boxes are soooo addictive!! I only watched the video late last night and here are a few of the boxes I have made since!! i have been playing with the sizes and different ways of presenting them!! A few more that weren't in the piccy have already made their way to peeps with yumnmy eggs in!!! Little Mo and I are popping into town shortly to get more egg supplies!!!! romfl!!!
Ok, I am off to get Mo to put his trainers on. I promised him a PJ day but luckily he couldn't resist slipping on his cute doggy trousers sent from his friend Shirley so I don't have to change him!!!! lol!!!!

Have a fabby and creative saturday peeps!!!

Hello peeps!!!
Its Tiddly Tuesday again so that means its time for a fabby new challenge over on the Tiddly inks challenge blog and Christy has set us up with an awesome one this week. Here is Minnie with a few details for you.....isn't she gorgeous. She is also this weeks new image release so go snap her up over on the Tiddly Inks store.

OOOh I hear you say...what do I need to do? The first thing you need to do is pop on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and read through Christy's little rules for our refer a friend bunny hop!!

Its best for you to go there and have a read first and get some inspiration from all the awesome Tiddly Inkers to get you going.

Onto the challenge that goes with it ........

Create a card and post it like you normally do----using a Tiddly Inks image (preferably with a bunny, but any TI image will work).

I used the adorable Bunny Q for mine as this card is an easter for my BF, (we have been so busy with one thing and another over the past couple weeks that I am suffering serious BF withdrawal symptoms and have taken to staring at my skype incase she pops up!!!! romfl!!!)

I coloured up my little Bunny Q and cut her out with my nesties, along with making a sentiment and cutting that with the same nestie set. I wanted my little flowers to stand out so Little mo punched me some and a couple of leaves from a spare piece of the friendship definition I had printed out. I embossed them and glued them on! cute cute cute!!!

I am entering this card over on the allsorts challenge blogs 'Blooming Blossoms' challenge. They are so cute and teeny and a joy to make, I can't resist them!!!

I can't wait to see who joins in with the Bunny Hop and make some new tiddly friends!!

I am off to work now. 4 days left until the easter holidays and little Mo is on countdown, the first thing he wants to do is have a pyjama day. This is fast becoming a tradition for the first day of any school holiday we have but I love it!!!
Have a great day everybody!! see you all later! hugs Lou xxxxx

Flowergirls and Ushers cards!!

 Morning peeps!!!!

Happy Friday!!!! I have been super busy, snuggled up in my crafty garage making some more of Gabby's wedding thank you card order so today I have the flower girls and the ushers to share!!!

The flower girls got a super cute LOTV Rosie with present.

I have been colouring the hair of the stamps on my cards the same as the people who are receiving them and sticking with the black and fuschia pink colour theme, I think it makes it a little more personal. I actually did 3 flower girl cards but didn't think to take a picture of all 3 and they have gone now but last night I worked on my usher trio!!! it is actually Sitting Groom Edwin ( my treat from clare's yummy shop last week!!) and here they are....
black hair usher!! I tired to do his hair with my black promarker first time but he looked awful so I started again and stuck to my cool greys.
 brown hair usher.....
 and the ginger one...

All my papers are from my Funky Hand Craft The Year Away cd. Gabby and Andrew are a young couple so I wanted the cards to be funky and fresh and Anice does that best!!!

The font is from my Storybook cricut cart and I love it. I think it is one of my favourite fonts ever!!!!

This week has been a great week at work and home so I am feeling all cheery and back to my normal self. on tuesday afternoon I helped my BF to restock her new crafty palace with another of my fabby friends, Maragret. Margaret so needs a blog because she showed me the most beautiful name card she had made for her grand  daughter, it was so cute. And as for Fi's crafty palace all I can say is wow-a-roonie!!!! I am so excited for her as she was crafting from a cosy little shed before which was still lovely but oooooh the new place is dreamy!!!!

Right off to make packed lunches for me and Little Mo and get on with the day so I can get home and chill!!!

Huge hugs

My best surprise of the day!

 Hello peeps!!!

I am blogging in late tonight as I have been having a bit of a vegging night!!! but I just had to share the best surprise of my day.

First I had a fabulous day at work today. I was busy and I loved it!!! I am always at my happiest when I am pootling along busily so that was fab.

Then onto to fetch my super gorgeous little Mo. He came out smiling, cluthcing what I thought was the normal pile of star wars drawings and then he gave me this card. Awwwwwwwwww!!! he gave me a huge snuggle too which was just awesome and I must admit I felt completely proud and a bit teary but held it together (...didn't want to cry in the playground!!!!!! lol !!!)

It is me, cooking tea in the flowers, awwww.

This is just the best ever mothers day card, so I had to share it with you all.
Here's the inside......
Awwwwwwwwwww!!!
It is little mo, in the garden being a gnome because he knows I love being outside!!! oh I adore this little guy and his little stories about what he has drawn, it is pure magic. The big red bits are love hearts.

Thank you for peeking and putting up with my super proud mummy moments!!!!!
huge hugs

Good Morning Peeps!!!!

Happy Tiddly Tuesday :) and the Tiddly Inkers are having a little celebration because it is our very own Christy's birthday!! Happy Birthday Christy xxxxxxx

and so onto the celebrations!!!!!!! over on the challenge blog we are Create a birthday card challenge using Black/White/Red. These are Christy's favorite colours so grab your favourite Tiddly Inks image and get creating!!!!

For my card I used the Cup of My Love Lilly Bean. She is so sweet and sassy (...and strong too holding all that love up there!!!)

The colouring was super simple, as I kept to the challenge colours...apart from her skin of course!!! I decided she needed a good blingy dress for partying!!

My gorjuss papers are from my Craft The Year Away cd. I seriously don't know what I would do without it as it has papers for everything on it and they all snuggle up together so nicely!!!

I made the sentiment in word and printed it out onto one of my scraps of the red paper, then punched it, inked it and doodled on it a little!!!!!

Now...for even more celebratory yumminess!!!!... there are of course new images going into the shop today but wait......you will love this next bit..........to celebrate her birthday Christy is......

Having  a SALE!!!!!

Well, I am off to work for the morning and then onto my BF's for a cuppa and a waffle. I have been melancholy over the last week so I am looking forward to a chat and cheering up-ness!!!!!! :)

Cute,cute,cute birthday box!!!

Box from my stash!
Flower and leaf punch from papermania
(clare, don't tell Mo I pinched his punches!!)
Anita's gems.
Pear Green promarker.
Tag from 'the work's shop.
Pink thread.

Morning peeps!!!!!

I had a lovely treat of a drive out to the lovely Clare's craft shop yesterday. We had a yummy breakfast in the little coffee shop literally across the door way from Clare's shop (sob, sob..by the time we had finished nomming our yummy scrambled eggs and Mo was extremely excited to find 3 huge marshmallows floating in his hot chocolate,Clare was just about to start a class so I couldn't have a proper catch up...oh well.... will have to go again for a good old natter!!!!)

Now, a teeny confession....the flower and leaf punch are not mine!!! they are actually part of Little Mo's crafty buys from Clare's but I am sure he won't mind me borrowing them!!!!

I have a little birthday party to go to today for my very special little lady (...or not so little now but I am happily in denial that she is growing up as all good nanny's who are feeling old when their charges grow up would!!!!) We are going to have some crafty fun and decorate some cakes, make some door hangers a la funky hand!! I will take my camera for piccies in case I get chance to take some!!

Claudia is growing up now so for her present I wanted to give her some pennies for her to go and choose whatever she fancies and I wanted a nice little box for them to go in.
She loves pink so I knew I could trust my awesome Craft The Year Away cd for some yummilicious pink paper.
I made up my box and added some splodges of pink ink around the edges. Trimmed up some funky pink paper to layer the box up with and splodged some ink on the edges of that too.

Then made myself some gorgeous little leafs by colouring a piece of white card with my pear green promarker and punching them out (..that punch is soooooo cute and very addictive...have more leafs then I need.....!!) then I ran my embossing tool down the middle of it to make it look more leafy!!!!
I punched the flowers out of my scrappy bits of paper, cream and funky pink, inked the edges and embossed them too. The cream flower was glued on first, then the leaves just gently pushed into the glue underneath, then the pink flower went inside the cream flower to gently layer it and a gorgeous pink gem for the centre of the flower.

Here's a little piccy of the punches and other bits and bobs I used in case you need to see the punches.
The glue isn't even dry in the flowers in my top piccy as I was just so excited to share it!!!!!!! daft me!!

The tag is one from a packet of price tags I bought from 'The Works' shop in town. I love these little tags. I took out the white string and then glued it onto a piece of paper, typed Claudia in word and then printed it out. Then I re-threaded the tag with some yummy pink thread to match the colour scheme on the box.

It really is a squishably cute box!!!
Right, better get me dressed...not got that far yet!! crafting in my pj's is so me on a sunday morning!!!

Have a fabby sunday everyone!! hugs Lou xxxxxx

busy butterflies!!!!

 Hiyah peeps!!!!

I have been super busy for the past couple of nights creating some bits that one of the girls at work has asked for for her wedding which is coming up soon.

My first job was the guest book and the scheme is black and fuschia pink and butterflies.
I headed for my stack of yummy bloom and grow minds eye papers becuase I knew this delicious paisley print pinky one was in there!!! oooh I love it.
The butterflies are from my cricut storybook cart and cut in black cardstock, which I then popped through my creatopia and covered with some pink flocking stuff..oooh they are so soft to rub!!! I cut the fluttery flight path off one so I could rest it on my nestied oval.
I added a couple of little gems on them and then popped them up on some silicone.
the little flowers are from my SU boho flowers punch and off course some martha branch!!!!!

I wanted the adult bridesmaids cards to match the guest book so I almost copied the layout of the guest book and I am so pleased with how they turned out.
I popped a little verse inside the bridesmaids cards too.

I took them to work today and it was lovely to see that Gabby liked them, I am always a little bit worried when I make things people have asked for!!!! daft me!!!!

Anyway, I am off to have a quick cuppa now and recharge my batteries before I finish off a wedding book for us girls at work to sign for another lady at work who is getting married!!! its all go in our nursery this year!!!!

Thankyou for popping in on me, your comments mean so much to me and always cheer me up.
Hugs Lou xxxx
