A fantastic day!!

Well I have had a super day today.
First, I got driven to peterborough by my amazing hubby and dropped off for 2 hours of absolute heaven with Chris and Lou demo-ing at sir stampalot. I tell you, these 2 ladies are just amazing, they made some yummy projects while I was standing there watching in awe, it takes me forever to do one nice-ish thing but Chris and Lou do oodles!!! thank you so much ladies, it was so nice to meet you in person and I am looking forward to when we can all meet up again xxxx

So this little baby sized card is from one that Chris was making and the photo on it is to try and pull in what lou was doing with her gorgeous Tilda photo on a card card, can't wait to see it finished . Lou led me astray and made me buy a swirly magnolia stamp ( well, thats what I told scott anyway!!!! he, he he ,he!!!!)

I had already started my ric rac challenge piece for the UK cricut crafters group over on papercraft planet but when I saw Chris make the tiddly litle step card I just had to have a go.

I love this picture. It is my great great Aunt Audrey and Uncle Dave in what was then thier pub, The royal oak in knaphill ,woking. Sadly Uncle Dave is no longer with us but Aunt Audrey is so this is a little gift for her. She is a bit poorly at the moment and rather old so will be pleased with a little bit of something I think. I added a couple of martha fronds and a paper flower being as I don't yet own the gorgeous cuttlebug quilled flowers die that Chris was using today. Omg, if you ahven't got one, you need it, its fab, of course you will also need to purchase Chris to make them but the die will be a start!! romfl!!!!

Heres a piccy from the side.

And here are the men in my life watching the aeroplanes that are at waddington airshow which is just across the field from my house. Mind you, Mo would only watch the quiet old ones, he took cover in the house or his tent for the big ones!!!

I try to get a photo of them every year watching the planes, same old scafollding but bigger little boy!!!
Thankyou for popping in on me, I love visitors!!

But the best bit of all this week has to be this.....

This is just so exciting for Sam ( and me too!!) , we both just keep peeking at the picture with disbelief!!!!!! Now none of this would of been possible without the amazing help and encouragement of Kim over on Cuddly Buddly, she is just awesome.

And whats even more exciting is that Kim has them 3 of them up for grabs in her 3 for free july blog candy over on the Cuddly Buddly blog. so pop over and leave a commment for your chance to win some!!!

feeling tiddly again for challenges!!!

Morning everyone!!

Its going to be another hot one here today I think!! I have been so busy I was worried this ittle card wasn't going to get finished in time but I have just made it with a day to go!!

It is for 2 of my favourite challenge blogs:

Tiddly inks june challenge- which was embelishments. SoI used my gorgeous little send me a sign bugg and coloured her face with my promarkers. I paper pieced her little dress and cap with my funkyhand pnk papers and embossed them so the pop out a little and looka bit more real. M loves her and tried to hide her, little monkey!!!!

Get Funky's June challenge was pink cream and brown. I printed out a selection o papers from my funkyhand cd's and made a card base wth them. The lace is made with my martha stewart punch as I didn't have any creamy coloured lace left but I did have some cream paper so that was super!! I lifted the edges of it with a little pink chalk too. The paper flower is from my stash and the little fronds are marthatoo, i lurve martha!!! lol!!!

Oh pants, I must dash or I will be late for work. Mo has a bit of a dodgy tummy this morning so I am hoping he is well enough to make it through the day!!!

big hugs

Such a fun day!!

Hello peeps!! Happy Saturday!!!

Well I have had the best day!! It was cricut club today and I just love it. We all gather in a village hall and have a huge table ( lou thinks about this for a moment, there was definitely a huge table there when I got out all my stuff.........) We cricut craft and giggle ( lots of giggling occurs!!) and I always come home feeling blessed for all these people in my life.
So we made flowers today and here are my little blooms!!! ......

These were made using the flower from george in a blackout function and I adore them and they were made a bit more flowery looking by using my frond punch that Enfys bought for me from her USA side of the pond!! I love, love love it. ( for some reason blogger is refusing to put this picture on the right way up?!!! I have tried 4 times and it is still on its side, strange.....!!!)

And this is my hello kitty nappy cake......
I used Hello kitty greetings for the Hello Kitty on top and tbbm for the little heart tags. I sewed the flowers myself and put little pom -poms in the middle, it looks so sweet in real life!!!!!
Fi helped me to wrap it all up all posh with her cellophane and we popped some curling ribbon on too, it really is very cute!!!!

And this is my dad's birthday card.
I used the most gorgeous cuddly buddly stamp for the sentiment on this one,I embossed it with my bally thing to make it into a little button and then glazed it with glossy accents, it looks so awesome.

The stamp is my super cute big present from my Lili of the valley stamps I treated myself on my birthday.

So thats me all crafted out for today!!!! I may womble to my craft room in a few minutes and see if some more inspiration gets me!!!! but I am conserving my energy for the stamp show at doncaster dome tomorrow, I am so excited!!! it is only my second trip to a craft show so I am really looking forward to it!!!

Thank you for popping in on me, I love visitors!!

WOYWW.....finally mess!!! lol!!!

Well, its WOYWW again and this week it marks the return to normality of the mess that is my craft desk!!!!!!! The yorkie bar was very important........in my crafting needs of course.....oh ok, I confess, I got the chocolate munchies!!!!!!!!!!
I was so determined to have some me time that I got busy for an couple of hours on sunday so I pulled out all sorts of stuff to get myself going (....as normal, I didn't use half of it and nothing is really finished but its a work in progress!!!)
There are so many different half thought abouts on my desk!!!
Here is my little Lili of the valley boy all coloured up and my cuddly buddly round greeting stamp ready to go on a birthday card for my dad to take home to the seychelles with him!!! In the background you can just see my stuff tainer stuffed with the rest of my lili of the valley stamps, they are just too cute for words.
There are a couple of random coloured images and a lilyboo mouse card in the pile too!!!!
Here are a few bits I got out for making a mini album, beer mats are superb for mini albums, covered up in yummy paper you would never know they were beer mats!!!!! and the red file is the Lilyboo file full of new yummy digi's waiting to be scanned and sorted!!!!!

So we have beautiful sunshine here again today. Mo and I are just going out to walk the dog as it just gets too hot for our Zaky later and he doesn't enjoy walks in the heat now, he is 14 and getting on a bit!!!

Omgosh, sooo busy at the moment!!

Oh I have been so busy my little blog has been a little neglected since wednesday!!!

I am so excited about Lilyboo's move to Cuddly Buddly. Kim has been so busy adding all sam's digi's and there are 90 freebies just waiting to be used here so get on over there!! I love it over on Cuddly Buddly's because Kim has so many other things I need for cardmaking over there too, including inks, stamps, martha's and more!!!!!! its like being in a sweet shop!!!

I have been making us a new little blog ( would love some followers pretty please!!!!) blogs and our Lilyboo page on PCP ( would love you to join there too!!!)along with trying to get my little niece Lily's ( she is the inspiration behind Lilyboo's!!!) birthday card done!!!

So this is lilyboo's birthday card, I used the gorgeous little Fairy cupcake and a middle step card fold. I coloured her up with my promarkers and stickles and added a bit of glossy accents too. I cut her out with my scalloped nesties and tatered rose distress inked around her. I can't remember what the papers are, which is frustrating as I would like some more!!!!!! The stickers are glitterations by anita's that I have had in my stash for ages!!!

The light was a bit pants when I took the piccy but there's no chance of another one as Lily will be having her birthday down in Devon on her holidays and has taken it with her!!!
Right, I need a cup of tea to warm me up, the sun has gone in and it is freeeeezing here today!!!! brrrrrrr!!!
Thank you for popping in on me,
Hugs lou xxxx

Tiddly Inks challenge 9- bleep bleep!!

OOOh I love this little guy!!!! He is so cute!!
This is
roboto from Tiddly Inks and Mo caught a peek of him whilst we were peeking in the new for june Tiddly Inks page the other day. He said he needed him ( which was fab because I thought the same!!!) and we popped him right into our basket!!!
This is Scott's dad's birthday/fathers day card. I made it into an easel card as I lurve easel cards, they are like 2 cards in one!!!! Heres a piccy from the side!!

I coloured roboto up in blue and then let mo choose what colours his balloons were going to be. He is actually a little sparkly too but I am not sure it shows up too well in the pictures. The paper is nitwits (though this morning we have noticed gorgeous roboto paper in the Tiddly Inks shop!!)
The 'Dad' I cut with all mixed up on my cricut in shadow and normal, stuck it together and then put glossy accents over the top. The little silvery brads are some of my fab faux brads and off course a bit of loopy martha!!!!!
This little guy is going straight in for the challenge over on Tiddly Inks this week which is 'bleep bleep- boys and thier robots'.
Thank you for popping in, I must go and get ready for work now!!!

Tiddly Inks challenge- Baby of mine.

Well I am back!!!
I have had a night of fun with my big sis and have even had time to finish off my cute little baby card for the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. The challenge this week is 'Baby of mine' and I just had to put his cute little guy in his cosy moon bed to use from the baby inks!!
His little white blanket is covered with some really soft white flock and it is so nice to rub!!!! The rest of him I coloured up with my promarkers and the little stars and star threads are actually spica pen glittered but I don't think it shows up too well in the picture.

This card cut is the invite cut from my wild card cart, Kerry over on the cricut mb UK crafters thread brought it to our attention on sunday and I made a flowery one but I thought it would be just perfect for a little baby card too.

The patterned paper is from my DCWV nannas nursery boy stack and the stamped sentiment is from my fiskars set. I distress inked the edges of the card softly too with faded jeans.

I embossed the little cut out bit with a little buttons embossing strip and put glossy accents on them, then when it had dried I got a needle and some soft blue thread and stitched through the button holes, it looks so sweet.

Right, I really am going to bed now!!!

Thank you for popping in and don't forget to go and check out the Tiddly Inks shop, there are some super cute digi's in there that you will need!!!!
