The papers are from Funkyhand and go together perfectly with my little Frank Boto, he's so darn cute!!!!
I absolutely love halloween and take Mo trick or treating with my friends and family. We all go together, normally around 5:30pm and just womble for an hour enjoying every bodies decorations.
So for this weeks challenge......
All you need to do is pick your favorite Tiddly Inks image and create using diamond glaze or a crackle finish (Christy has added a yummy freebie crackle design paper in our PCP group this week) and link your card over on the challenge blog by next Monday night at 10 PM CST.

This creation used:
Promarkers- Honeycomb, Amethyst and leaf green.
Sentiment- computer generated with Gore font from dafont.
Crackle accents- on letters.
Glossy accents- on Frank boto.
( wanted to use both!!! lol!!!)
Martha Stewart Drippy goo punch.
Ribbons and fibres from my stash.
I need to finish this little book of with a few piccies from our halloween's past ( I'll post some piccies of it when its done!)and then it will be all fit for keeping for Mo in one of Anice's fabulous new wordbook envelopes. They are awesome and at the minute they come in packs of 10, 5 white and 5 ivory and I think they are just an excellent idea!! no more teasing 12x12 paper into a envelope shape!!!
Right, off to make a cuppa and have some snuggles with Mo before school!!! He has crafty club after school today while Scott and I have his parents evening!
Have a super day everyone!!

I chose to do a plain and simple card ( as I did want to post it!!) which is fabulous as the challenge over on Allsorts is plain and simple this week!! so this card is going in for that!!!!

funky noel with bells on!!!!

Good afternoon!!!!
hope you all have lovely weather like we do today. Scott and I droppped Mo off at school, treated ourselves to a lovely breakfast and then came home and set to work tidying up the garden. It looks nice at the moment....all ready for little Mo to come home and fill it back up with lego models and cars!!!!
So on my bloggy today we have a most funky and gorgeous wordbook using one of Anice's fabulous new wordbook downloads,This one used the traditional wordbook download which you can find here.
Its hard to see in the piccy but I printed it out on linen card and it looks so pretty with the texture in real life!!!!
Now to make you laugh a bit!!!
I finished the wordbook yesterday and pootled off to fetch Mo from school. I came home and took a couple of piccies, popped the memory card into my computer, looked at the piccies and thought ( like we all do.....) there naff, I'll take a better piccy when little mo goes to bed.
So I get mo settled off after a story and pootle back down to take a coupe more piccies........yup naff again so I resort to my lovely light box photo thingy.....more naff piccies. By this point I am getting a little stressed with my lovely purple canon ixus and deciding it must be going flat. I put it on charge and treat myself to watching the great british bake off,( mmmmm yummo food in the final, well deserved win Ed!!!)
Go back to take another picture, its poo too so I scream at camera and threaten to squish it into the floor and do a ceremonial camera squishing dance on it!!!!!! romfl!!!!
I take one picture today ( yep, just one!!) telling camera as I am taking it that if its a poo picture I will swap her for scott's 'all singing all dancing god I don't know which button to press' camera
.......and whoop whoop little purple camera does me proud today!!!!!! phew!!! the glitter on my letters still isn't as sparkly as it is in real life but it came out ok!!
so thats me for today!!!
huge hugs

Tiddly Inks challenge 22- Sketch challenge!!

Hello peeps!!
Its that Tiddly time of the week again and this week We have a fabulous sketch for you from the lovely Betty Boo.
Isn't it cool?!!!
I would also like to send some cyber hugs and cyber chicken soup to Betty as she is a little under the weather at the moment. Huge hugs Betty xxxxx

Please use her great sketch to create a card using one of Christy's fabulous Tiddly Inks images. As always the DT have made an amazing bunch of cards to inspire you so make sure you go and check them out before you start!!

I really hope you get a chance to join in. Christy is in the middle of creating a pool of potential DT members for the Tiddly Inkers. You can read more about that here. So if you fancy getting Tiddly a little more often now would be a great time to start!!!!! lol !!!
You have until next Monday at 10 PM CST to link your card on the challenge blog.
So, here's me for this week!!!!!!! I am so excited about this card because ........

I made it for Mo!!! (using the new stamp especially made for him by Christy!!!)
So, Mo was doing his Tiddly Tuesday shopping a couple of weeks ago and said
""I need a school boy tiddly, has Christy got one in her pencil?"
Awwww, too cute!!! I told Christy what Mo had said, ( he is just too cute not to share with people!!) and last week an email arrived for Mo. Well, let me tell you, he was soooo excited. I let him open the piccy ( he is rather computer savvy like Daddy!) and he actually squeals!!! lol!!!
He said " oh mummy, look its me!!!!
Awwww some more!!!
So I set to work pretty much right away using Betty's fab sketch. I decided to be a little different and cut out the little squares in the sketch for windows, resizing the blackboards to fit in the windows, cute!! and added a couple of little schooly dingbats to the boards. I coloured my Mo up in Mo colours!!!!

This creation used.....

Schoolboy Mo digi from Tiddly Inks

Blackboard paper from Tiddly Inks.

Promarkers- Hair-sandstone, buttercup. Skin- vanilla, pastel pink. Jeans- denim blue, pastel blue. Bag- berry red. Shirt-pastel beige. T-shirt-pastel green. Smiley face on the T-shirt- Gold. Books- a bit of all the above!!!

Tombats 1 dingbats font from Dafont.

Computer made sentiment using Kirsten ITC font.

Antique linen distress ink.

Bit of doodling around the edges of Mo and the card base.

Mo is absolutely loving school so far which is fantastic as he wasn't at all sure last year! He is missing his best little buddy but they have discovered skype and had a couple of chats on there so that eases things a little for him. He has already told me he is taking this card for his teacher when it gets to half term break.

I would love to see some peeps using the gorgeous little Mo on their Tiddly challenge cards this week!!! How exciting!!

Ok time for me to get ready for work!! thank you for popping in on me!!!

A scrap page for Grace.

Morning everyone!

I have had a busy couple of days trying to work out a lovely scrap page for my mum to give to her friend Carolyn. This is Grace.
Grace sadly passed away in january after getting meningitis. My mum tells me Grace was always such a happy, smiley girl and she loved pink, so when mum gave me this photograph to work on I wanted to make it a happy page.
My mum also wanted some hearts on there to so this is where I ended up.
The heart around Grace and the letters for her name are cut with glittery pink adhesive paper its yummy and cuts beautifully in my cricut.
I used some little beads to glitz up my doily hearts martha punched strip (....and yup, it took me ages to get them all on!!!! lol!!!!!)
The little ripped bit on the top left is a little trick taught to me by my friend Chris ( she s a lot better at it than me!!!!) and its so addictive as it just makes a lovely feature on a page/card. I popped some eyelets in near the end of the tear to make it look like it was being held together by them and the black hemp thread.
The little elephant charm is there for never forgetting Grace and it had such a pretty little heart on it too, it just seemed to want to sit there.
I made myself some flowers with my boho flowers punch and some fronds with my martha punch to add a little something to the heart surrounding Grace.
I hope Carolyn likes this. I actually felt a little sad making this when this beautiful, happy girl kept smiling at me and then I remembered she had gone.

This creation used:
Papermania paper from my stash!
martha stewart doily hearts and frond punches.
hobbycraft adhesive glitter paper in Pink.
tiny beads.
SU boho flowers punch.
Making memories clear sticker from my stash!
elephant charm.
My magnolia swirl stamp just gently on the photo.

Well, I must get on. I have oodles of housework I must sort and a dog that needs walking!! If I get all that sorted this morning I will be able to craft away tonight!!!
Hope you all have wonderful saturdays!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 21- Our Pets.

Morning everybody!!

Oh I hope you had have better weather than me today!! it is cold, damp and very windy!! but luckily I have my guest DT card for Tiddly Inks challenge blog to post today so that's brightened up my day!!
Its challenge 21 already!!! so here's the details for the challenge.....

We have a very fun challenge if you happen to be a pet lover because this week our challenge is all about our pets. :)
Grab your favorite Tiddly Inks pet or animal image (you can find 3 animal freebies here) and join in.
You have until next Monday at 10 PM CST to complete and link your creation and link it using the little inlinkz gadget on the challenge blog.

I loved making this card because I had a small little helper with it!!! I got Mo to pick which animal I should use and he chose Father bumble bear. He said "its just like him and daddy and could we make daddy's birthday card?"
So we set to work. I used my fav manly backing papers from funkyhand for this one too ( the pack is slowly disappearing now :( time to buy some more!! lol!!!) and they matched the colouring on my bears an absolute treat.
I used a lovely heart sentiment stamp to make a charm with my shrinkies ( yup, led astray by Lou and Chris again!!!! love ya girlies xxx).
Then, (and this is my absolute favourite bit on this card!!!) I gave Mo my black sakura glaze pen and asked him to write Daddy somewhere on the card. He chose where to write it all be himself and I am super proud of where he wrote it. He wrote it on the heart, but not just straight! He wrote it so carefully and followed the shape of the heart adding some little kisses!! I think he is definitely picking up the crafty genes a treat!!! and it will make a super special card for Daddy's birthday in november.

This creation used....
Father Bumble Bear from Tiddly Inks.
Funky Fellas paper pack from Funkyhand.
Shrinkies.
Baby bear hugs heart stamp from my stash ( my mum bought me this one at reevsby show so I am sorry I don't know who made it :( )
Martha Stewart doily hearts punch.
Ribbon from my stash.
Promarker- sandstone and pastel pink.
Heart cut on my cricut with george cart.

Well I must pootle off now and get ready for the day!
Thank you so much for popping in on me and thank you so much everybody for your lovely comments, they always brighten up my day xxxx

Christmas princess card!

Morning peeps!!
Just a quicky post this morning as Mo and I are just getting ready for school/work!!!
Here is my little christmas card I made at cricut club on saturday.
I designed this card in cricut design studio over 3 1/2 years ago now but I still love using it! and on saturday I just had to use it to put my gorgeous christmas princess from Tiddly Inks.
I coloured her up with my promarkers, berry red ,of course, and a few copic at you spica red in there too for bling!! and a good old christmassy feel!! and her hair though it doesn't show up is really sweet as it is grey, white and has a few splashes of copic at you spica silver in there too.
I cuttlebugged the letters for 'snow' , inked them with a bit of silver and popped them out with a bit of silicone.
I used a bit of silver mirri board and cuttlebugged it with one of the new bigger cuttlebug folders that Fi had in her box....can't remember what it was called though!!!
I also tied a little bit of red satin ribbon onto the side and it was done.
This creation used....
White linen cardstock.
silver mirri board.
swiss dots embossing folder.
snowflake embossing folder ( can't remember what it was called)
silver ink pad.
red satin ribbon.
promarkers- berry red for the dress, hat. vanilla and pastel pink for the skin. cool grey 1 and 2 for the hair
copic at you spica glitter pens silver and red for the hair and dress.

A little feel better soon LOTV!

Morning peeps!!!
I had a super day yesterday. First it was a day at cricut club which is just always so much fun, I made 2 cards which I will post later in the week. Then onto babysitting for my 2 fav little people in the evening ( though I must admit they are not quite so little anymore!!!!)
I made this little card for my friend's niece who had a small battle with a trampoline, she slipped under the net to get out and took a tumble on the way and came off slightly worse for wear bless her. I don't know her too well as I have only seen her a little handful of times but she is one of the cutest little girls and I felt so sad that she had hurt herself. Her aunty ( my friend) keeps us updated and summer is now home after a yukky couple of days and an op to wire her little bones in her arm up to heal.

I thought that my cute little LOTV nurse stamp would be a good one too use and teamed it up with an easel fold, martha punch and of course some gingham funkyhand paper ( I love gingham!!!!) I made the sentiment on my computer in one of my favourite fonts. I used the little hearts that punch out to decorate the white cardstock under the punched edge.
We also have a new arrival in the daubney household, rather a surprise though!! I just happened to be getting the cucumber ready for our african snail, Speedy Chuggington. ( speedy from ryan, chuggington from Mo) and I saw this little lump on his (....her?!) foot near the shell. On closer looking ( after thinking omg? what is that? and can you take a snail to the vet?...) I realised it was a teeny tiny baby snail!!!! awwwwwww!!! Then when I put the cucumber in it slid down the foot of chuggington and got onto the cucumber!!!
Anyway, I called Mo ( who was engrossed in lego making...again!!!) and told him to look what was in the tank. Well, you have never seen such a happy little boy!!! So I said to him " what do you think we should call the baby snail Mo?" he replied
" We have to call him whoopsie mummy because we didn't know he was coming"
Well, scott and I had to laugh!!!! ( lou had visions of Mo being born and being called whoopsie as we didn't know he was coming either!!!!! lol!!!!)
So here is little whoopsie you can just about see him on the edge of the cucumber!!!

(...and yes, I am frantically searching the tank hoping there are no more after being told by my brother that they have squillions of babies!!!)Right I am off for a cuppa, to get the washing machine on and get caught up with ironing. We were going to womble to the shop but Mo has requested a pj morning so that will have to wait a while!!!!

My card used:

white linen cardstock.

Gingham paper from my funkyhand Colour me Happy papercraft factory.

LOTV Little nurse stamp.

Martha stewart Doily hearts punch.

SU oval punch and scalloped oval punch.

Computer genrated sentiments with Kristen ITC font.

Thankyou for popping in!!!

Too cute to miss!! Shirt and tie card.

Morning peeps!!
It was my day off yesterday and in between cleaning up and mopping floors ( that didn't want to dry because for once there was no wind!!!) I had time to make something!!!
This little card came about because I just happened to turn C&C on for 2 minutes and the lady on there was making this card.

I was cleaning at the same time so missed some of the folds so I turned to trusty old google who in turn took me to the amazing Dawn's blog ( I should of known to look there first!!!) Check out the linky for Dawn's fab video on how to make your own.
The only thing I forgot to do now I see the picture on my blog is to make sure I had turned my awesome funkyhand patterned paper up the right way!!!!!
I love the way it opens up so you can write your message inside....

I added a little pocket and buttons to mine too.
Men's cards are so tricky to make so I want to thank Dawn for this fabby tutorial, I am definitely going to be making a lot more of these!!

And here is my gorgeous little Mo!! ( yup, with his dylan dog, that dog still goes everywhere with him!!!) This picture was taken in between the tear of monday morning but I think it came out quite well. He has had 3 days back at school now and is much happier. He loves his new teacher and is coming home happy with no tears in a morning so that is amazing!

This card used....

Dawn's fabby tutorial.

salt and pepper download from funkyhand.

London fog memento ink for edges ( still not got myself a new charcoal chalk pad!!!)

Funky faux brads ( linky for my tutorial!!)

Right of to get ready for work!!!!

Big hugs Lou xxxxx
