Tiddly Inks challenge- You're A Stitch !!

Image-Tainted from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- Stitched Up paper from Tiddly Inks.

Its Tiddly Tuesday again!!!  and our little team of Tiddly Inkers are asking you to use some stitching on your project this week over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. It can be faux or real stitching and as always please remember to use a Tiddly Inks image to join the challenge!!!

For my card I used one of the gorgeous gothic girls, Tainted, I love love love them and had so much fun pootling away doing this card on sunday night. I coloured her up with my promarkers and added a bit of glitz to her hair which shows up better in this piccy...

The delicious stitched paper is Tiddly Inks too. I layered a couple of the pieces up in my paint shop pro and then printed out the single sqaure for inside the card. I distressed all the edges to goth it up a bit!!

The huge stitches I made myself using some paper string from ikea, fab stuff!!! and the cute yet gothic alphas I downloaded from Kelly's awesome blog.

The base colour pink is layerd up on foam and the alphas and my lovely Tainted are all layered up on silicone to make them pop out so I am entering this card into the challenge over on Papertake weekly , which is Truly Dimensional, the Cupcake Challenge blog which is lots of layers and the Haunted Designs Macabre mondays challenge which is Gothic pin ups ( and sponsored by Tiddly Inks too!!). Here is a piccy that shows the layers a bit!!

I made the flower by scrunching up some scalloped circles, loads of fun and very theraputic!!!

Right, I am back onAunty Lou duty today!! I have been informed we are making something bunny today!!

Have a fabulous Tiddly Tuesday and please pop on over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and peek at what the awesome Tiddly Inkers have been making to get you started, I can't wait to see your entries peeps!!!

Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Daring cardmakers challenge.

Image-Lilyboo designs I'm Here...
Papers- Stripes funky freebie from Funky Hand.

Well I was pootling down my blogger dashboard this morning and saw that the Daring Cardmakers  and the C.R.A.F.T challenge blog were having a spring time/ easter theme and over on Bunny zoe's challenge blog it is one for the boys!!  which is fab as I was just sitting in my craft room starting  Little mo's easter card!!! He was supposed to be having a pj day with me but it turned out just to be a pj morning as his little friend Elliott who lives a couple of doors away came to call for Mo and they are presently asking the builders who are doing some new pipe work with big diggers and other exciting boy stuff near the field which is right outside the front of our house. (I can see them from here in my craft room and feel extremely sorry for the builders who are being asked for at least the billionth time " what is that bit for then man?"!)

Little mo loves anything mythical so I just had to use the cute little dragon from my sisters digi's!! I coloured up the cute little guy with my promarkers and a bit of at you spica in there too, just to bling him up a little.

I wanted some super cheery papers so I just had to use the fabulously stripey and gorgeous papers are from the freebie lovingly created by Anice at Funky Hand for our Debs's Spots and Stripes challenge over on Get Funky. Please pop on over to see Debs's delicious card that has started us off for funky fifteenth and join in the fun with us this month.
The spots I made myself so that they pop out, all I did was punch some teeny circles out and emboss them then glue them on with silicone!

Right then, another card coming on I think!! hope you are all having a fabulous friday!!

Father of the bride/groom cards!!

Hiyah peeps!!!

Oh boy I am feeling so rough today, normal monthly yukkies but after some considerable mooching on the settee tonight I decided it was time to get on with a couple more of Gabby's cards. I am actually quite sad that I only have 1 more left to do now, I have been enjoying pootling along with them!!!

So tonight it was the turn of the fathers of the bride/groom. I used a heart idea that I saw on a video on the lovely Dawn's blog a few weeks ago. If you have never been to Dawn's blog before she is a total must. i have been following her for a few years now and have made a few Dawn things!!! :) they are always so much fun.

I always feel so sorry for the dads as they must feel such a mixed bag of emotions on the day and I always think they feel a little left out so on the insides of these 2 there is a poem from the bride and a poem from the groom too.

I wanted to try and keep them 'manly' so embossed some black cardstock with divine swirls and popped out the tuxedo hearts on foam. I hope Gabby likes them. I love how these cards came out.

Right I am going to go and tuck myself up in bed with my hot wheaty bag and get to sleep. I hope I feel a bit better tomorrow. Scott is off out to the gadget show live for the day so me and Little mo are having a mummy and mo veg out on the settee day!!I was supposed to be having the day with my big sis and her children but  just don't feel up to it. Mo has decided we should have a pj day again because mummy feels 'ruffty' so there will be no arguing from this mummy!! bless him!!

Huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me, its comforting to know you all read my waffles!!!! :)

Getting my ribbons sorted!!!

Hello peeps!!!

Just a quicky post from me today as I have spent the whole day pootling around sorting my craft room out with Scott. I had 2 things that hubby was required for today and we planned the day a few weeks ago!!!

Number 1 was to get my ribbons sorted. I am completely blaming my lovely bloggy pal vicky for this one. Hers is a lot more classy than mine!!
I thought I had 2 long bygel rails but it turns out I only had the one so a trip to B&Q for a 12mm pine dowel and a packet of large cup hooks was the first job of the day!!
Then home to get them sorted and put up.
In the piccy you can just about see the little bits of string I tied all the clips up with!! took ages but I can't believe how much ribbon I thought I didn't have ;)

Then onto my little lights, they are the teensy round circles on the bottom of my cupboards just above the ribbon rails. They came with the cupboards that my fabby little brother gave us ages ago and when I am using my cricut expression or cuttlebug its a bit dark down that end of the table so Scott said he would put them up for me. They light it up fab! yey!!

The picture is cleverly cropped to hide the mass of destruction that is still on my craft desk down that end!!! my baby bug is just nestled behind my cuttlebug,he is probably giggling at the big E who is stuck under lots of mess!!!!!!

Right off to give mo a snuggle and a kiss and catch a quick nap before I go and tidy up the messy desk!!!

Huge hugs

Best man and Maid of honour thank you cards!

Stamp- Groom Edwin from magnolia stamps.
Papers- Craft The Year Away from Funky Hand.
martha stewart embossed zig zag punch.
SU oval punch set.
Hello peeps!!!

Its another lovely sunny day here. I have got a load of washing out on the line to dry and Little mo and I have been for haircuts this morning. Little mo asked for a short back and sides but long on top and I had a very brave and whopping 3" cut off mine!!!! I feel fab and mo looks very cute!!!

So my little shares today are more of Gabby's thank you's for her wedding party. I have been carefully trying to make them all co-ordinate with papers and colour themes and I have really enjoyed pottling through them, a few more to go but I am so pleased I had my Craft The Year Away cd rom as there is no worrying about running out of my papers!! I have just been printing lots of the same few out!!

I really really like this one for Gabby's maid of honour who is also her sister and will also be very pregnant at the wedding so I wanted to make her something really sweet.
The butterfly and the branch from my Storybook cricut cart. I used the same butterfly button for the grown up bridesmaids, thiers had fluttery flight paths on but this one I wanted to be resting on a branch. I added some bling to the punched scalloped oval too for extra yumminess!!!

So this afternoon we are putting up our tent in the garden. Its a nice size tent for a bit of something to do and play in. Mo wants us to sleep in it tonight so Daddy is in the loft looking for our airbed!!!

Have a great day everyone!!
Huge hugs Lou xxxxx

Mother of the bride/groom thank you cards.

Morning peeps!!!

The sun is shining beautifully again here and I have been busy creating already this morning!!

I have been pootling along with gabby's wedding thank you card order and felt like making the mum's their cards this morning. I used some good old Funky Hand paper to match the others I have been doing and some simple black cardstock.

The embossed bits are divine swirls, they look so pretty and are just perfect for weddings!! the little flowers are Mo's punches...again!! but sooo cute.
Inside each there is a beautiful poem.

Mo and I had a fabulous day yesterday making houses for fairies and a cafe for hedgehogs!!! he was most pleased when the bread for the hedgehogs had gone (.....actually the dog ate that last night but I dont want to spoil my little mans image of happy hedgehogs nibbling wholemeal bread!!) and the fairies had been and left silvery trails (...many many thanks to mr slug for making mo's day!!!) .
Most of all I just love that he will sit for hours doing things like that! here is a piccy of some of the houses.

Right best go and get on with the best mans card and the fathers cards now!!!!!
have a fabby sunday peeps!!

Funky easter baskets!!!

Papers- Craft The Year Away from Funky Hand.
SU Boho flowers punch.
Martha Stewart frond punch.
Morning peeps!!!!

I have been a bit of a quiet blogger this week as I have been immersed in the twilight breaking dawn book that my lovely friend lent me, I read it over 3 nights and it was fabulous, I can't wait for the next film now!!!

So my little share for today is this super super cute little easter basket. I am completely blaming this new obsession for paper folding on my fabby and most creative friend Donna who shared the link to the youtube video from JenLowe this little origami box!!!!

I just had to make a funky little one as I had been printing out some Funky Hand papers earlier in the week and had these sitting on my craft desk. This little box was done with an 8x8 sqaure of paper.
I printed on both sides of my paper.

Now a warning....these little boxes are soooo addictive!! I only watched the video late last night and here are a few of the boxes I have made since!! i have been playing with the sizes and different ways of presenting them!! A few more that weren't in the piccy have already made their way to peeps with yumnmy eggs in!!! Little Mo and I are popping into town shortly to get more egg supplies!!!! romfl!!!
Ok, I am off to get Mo to put his trainers on. I promised him a PJ day but luckily he couldn't resist slipping on his cute doggy trousers sent from his friend Shirley so I don't have to change him!!!! lol!!!!

Have a fabby and creative saturday peeps!!!

Lacey circles nesties.

Hello peeps!!!
Its Tiddly Tuesday again so that means its time for a fabby new challenge over on the Tiddly inks challenge blog and Christy has set us up with an awesome one this week. Here is Minnie with a few details for you.....isn't she gorgeous. She is also this weeks new image release so go snap her up over on the Tiddly Inks store.

OOOh I hear you say...what do I need to do? The first thing you need to do is pop on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and read through Christy's little rules for our refer a friend bunny hop!!

Its best for you to go there and have a read first and get some inspiration from all the awesome Tiddly Inkers to get you going.

Onto the challenge that goes with it ........

Create a card and post it like you normally do----using a Tiddly Inks image (preferably with a bunny, but any TI image will work).

I used the adorable Bunny Q for mine as this card is an easter for my BF, (we have been so busy with one thing and another over the past couple weeks that I am suffering serious BF withdrawal symptoms and have taken to staring at my skype incase she pops up!!!! romfl!!!)

I coloured up my little Bunny Q and cut her out with my nesties, along with making a sentiment and cutting that with the same nestie set. I wanted my little flowers to stand out so Little mo punched me some and a couple of leaves from a spare piece of the friendship definition I had printed out. I embossed them and glued them on! cute cute cute!!!

I am entering this card over on the allsorts challenge blogs 'Blooming Blossoms' challenge. They are so cute and teeny and a joy to make, I can't resist them!!!

I can't wait to see who joins in with the Bunny Hop and make some new tiddly friends!!

I am off to work now. 4 days left until the easter holidays and little Mo is on countdown, the first thing he wants to do is have a pyjama day. This is fast becoming a tradition for the first day of any school holiday we have but I love it!!!
Have a great day everybody!! see you all later! hugs Lou xxxxx

Flowergirls and Ushers cards!!

 Morning peeps!!!!

Happy Friday!!!! I have been super busy, snuggled up in my crafty garage making some more of Gabby's wedding thank you card order so today I have the flower girls and the ushers to share!!!

The flower girls got a super cute LOTV Rosie with present.

I have been colouring the hair of the stamps on my cards the same as the people who are receiving them and sticking with the black and fuschia pink colour theme, I think it makes it a little more personal. I actually did 3 flower girl cards but didn't think to take a picture of all 3 and they have gone now but last night I worked on my usher trio!!! it is actually Sitting Groom Edwin ( my treat from clare's yummy shop last week!!) and here they are....
black hair usher!! I tired to do his hair with my black promarker first time but he looked awful so I started again and stuck to my cool greys.
 brown hair usher.....
 and the ginger one...

All my papers are from my Funky Hand Craft The Year Away cd. Gabby and Andrew are a young couple so I wanted the cards to be funky and fresh and Anice does that best!!!

The font is from my Storybook cricut cart and I love it. I think it is one of my favourite fonts ever!!!!

This week has been a great week at work and home so I am feeling all cheery and back to my normal self. on tuesday afternoon I helped my BF to restock her new crafty palace with another of my fabby friends, Maragret. Margaret so needs a blog because she showed me the most beautiful name card she had made for her grand  daughter, it was so cute. And as for Fi's crafty palace all I can say is wow-a-roonie!!!! I am so excited for her as she was crafting from a cosy little shed before which was still lovely but oooooh the new place is dreamy!!!!

Right off to make packed lunches for me and Little Mo and get on with the day so I can get home and chill!!!

Huge hugs
Lou xxxxxx
