Morning Peeps!!
How are we all today? me, I am holding out for good weather as it is little mo's sports day (....mo however is holding out for rain as he doesn't enjoy sports day at all, he doesn't like all the grown ups that come to watch and he gets all nervous! he asked if just me and daddy could go!! lol!!)

So my card today is a bit of a man card!! perfect for those daddies, grandads and uncles out there!! and it took me ages to decide which super cute little stamp to use too!! there were too many yummy ones over in the Lilyboo Designs page over at Cuddly buddly!!!

I had some of kims yummy papers left over from my little bear card last week so I put them to good use and layered them up, adding some faux stitching inspired by Debs post on her blog yesterday!!

So this little guy is going in for a few challenges.....
Cutie pie challenge blogs- real or faux stitching
Passion for promarkers- lots of layers
Cupcake craft challenge blogs- Red,white and blue

(...already had a little play this morning, was mucho funno!!! made a little headband for mo's breakfast buddy, sophia!! who,of course, picked pink felt for her roses!!) she had to wear it for nursery so I had to quickly take a piccy as we went to the car!! romfl!! well, a girl neeeeds her headband!!!

FAS challenge 26....

Morning peeps!!
Its time for a new sketch over on the Fetch A Sketch challenge blog this morning and its  my favourite theme this week too!!! its an Anything Goes couple of weeks so all you need to do is follow the sketch and have fun!!!

You can flip the sketch, rotate the sketch, resize it and make any type of project you like with it - as long as we can see the original sketch in your creation we'll be happy! if you click on the piccy it will take you straight to the challenge blog where you can see Ruth and Jenny's gorgeous creations too.

Challenge 26 - 11 June
For my make I decided to go for a little make in my SMASH book, ya'll know I lurve my SMASH book!!!! so I used the sketch for making the centre piece on my right hand page. here's a piccy of the pages together...

I used my nesties to cut her out with and the sketch was so much fun to work with.I have never really thought of using a sketch for a SMASH page but this one just worked so neat!!
Here's a piccy of my left hand side page..
I made myself a little camera out of some corrugated card, punching a heart out for the lense because I love photographs. This page isn't finished yet as I have a few more of those clear epoxy dome stickers left and its way too addicting making little badges with piccies of my family!!!(..oh and please excuse the top left corner as my camera slipped just as it was taking the piccy!!!so the badges up there came out a little blurry!!).
I added some butterflies too. Now you might laugh at them but they do have a significance. I am sure I am not the only person out there who gets a fluttery excited feeling when looking through photographs, my favs are the really old ones that my grandad keeps in a box at his house. I must of been through that box at least a zillion times in my 35 years of being alive and it never gets boring! there is always a picture I missed or can't remember or a picture that makes me happy...or sad!! so the butterflies are for the fluttery, free feeling you get when you open the box and start looking through.

So don't forget to come play along with us!!! we love seeing how you all take on the sketches!
Thank you for popping in on me

Fathers day with Edwin!!

Morning Peeps!!

Its almost and Mo and I are wide awake bunnies already!!! ...though I would rather be asleep, icky monthlies are dictating otherwise so we have snuggled up to watch a movie on the settee with a big blanket, it is actually one of my favourite things to do over the weekend so I thought I would do a quick bloggy post while we are snuggled here!!!

I love my magnolia stamps and really enjoyed a quick edwin make, he's just so cute and perfect for those dad's out there too!! I coloured him up with my promarkers...didn't remember to take a piccy of them though, derrrr Lou !!!
The text is actually a pretty awesome stamp I bought from my local garden centre's craft shop and I love it. It just has the perfect Dad description on it.
The papers are MME from my scraps box. Its a simple but really cute card!!!

Challenges I am popping Edwin in are...

Ok, I am going to get back to snugglies with Mo now!!

Faerie baby...

Morning Peeps!!

Oh how I love saturdays!! We have had a lovely morning walking Holly around hartsholme park (....and bathing her after she decided to go for a dip in possibly the dirtiest part of the entire lake........) Mo had a super time playing at the park and now we are back home and vegging out.

I wanted to share the little card I made for my niece, Harriet, whose birthday was on wednesday. I absolutely adore the little faerie baby digi's I bought from Mo's digital pencil a couple of weeks ago, they are just way too cute and you kinda want to squeesh their little toes and cheeks as you are colouring them up!! they are just gorgeous!!

I decided to go for a bit of a mono colouring session with her and I love how she came out, I used my new cherish memory box border too and ooooooh its fabulous! love it!! I think its going to get a lot of use!!!
I added a little bit of sparkle with my sakura starburst pen and then some clouds in the background with my faded jeans distress ink and a sponge. I made the little pearls in the top right match by colouring them with my aubergine promarker, I love doing that and don't often buy coloured pearls anymore because its so lovely to make them match using my promarkers!
The papers are from my DCWV Nannas nursery boy stack... weird as they are purples..!!!

Here's my little pile-o-pens!!....

Challenges I am popping this little cutie into are....
Mo's digital challenge blogs- anything goes (with a mo image)
I love promarkers- for a little girl

I am so super excited today because I won the new Die-namics notched border from the gorgeous Tracy over on Dies To Die for in her Friday freebie post on the Dies to die for  facebook page!! she is so kind to give away such awesome gifts and I can't wait to have a play with it!!! I didn't find out until we had got back from our walk this morning as Scott and I had a film night last night which comes with a 'no pooters- time together' rule for us!! We watched a few episodes from our 'Game of thrones' dvd set ..mmmmmm..Sean Bean..........
Right off to feed my guys!!!
huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me!!

Get Well Soon......

Morning Peeps!!!
I am popping in quick to share a bit of a Funky Hand make this morning. Its this uber cute little get well card this morning. I just love this little monster, he...or she..is so adorable!!

It is a digi stamp from the new Wishes&Kisses cd from Funky Hand. I coloured monster up using blush, sunkissed pink and coral promarkers and then added some big juicy sakura glaze pen and doodled some 'poorly' dots all over my monster!!! Mo says they make it look like monster has chicken pox!!!  I just enjoyed having a good doodle with my glaze pen!!! the little bandage has a little edging of pastel blue promarkers just to give it a little shadowing. I felt the need for some cute googly eyes too!!
I also love the little hot water bottle get well soon sentiment!! oh its so cute!! I literally tied it on using a bit of twine.

The colours on this card are all from the 'You're Engaged' colourway and I have to say it is fast becoming my favourite on the cd. I am not that great at colourmatching so I love the way I can print out any papers from the same collection and get them to muddle together perfectly!! LOVE IT!!!

This poorly little monster is off to play in a  couple of challenges today, they are....

So I had better get my butt into action as its a work day for me :( I am not feeling 100% today and I can't decided whether its hayfever or a stinking cold on the way so doping self up with piriton seems like the best way forward this morning!!!! Mo has a daddy day so they will no doubt have lots of fun!!!
Have a great day everyone and thankyou for popping in on me!!

Saturated Canary Challenge 19- Anything Goes!!

Image- Double Take from Saturated Canary Digi's.
Afternoon Peeps!!!
When you read this I will be hard at work running around with little people!!!
Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and this week it is one that will be everyone's favourite as its one of my absolute favourite...
Anything Goes!!
I love an anything goes kinda challenge!! I have been loving playing with Tags recently and thus decided I needed to do a tag!!
But...man are these tags a monkey to take a picture of!!!! I think I need a taking a picture of a decorated tag tutorial!!! they are tricky!!!
Anywhoo here is a close up of Double Take, isn't she just gorgeous. I love that she could be a bride, or a bridesmaid ,or a prom queen...she's just gorgeous.
I hand stitched her little tulle skirt on. She look so much nicer IRL!! she has little glazed glitter dots in her hair and on her dress. I was in a blue hair mood too. I would so love blue hair like this but I have black hair...granted it has a lot of white in and is actually purpley colour at the moment but my dream hair colour is blue, I just love it!!

The challenge over on Cupcake Crafts Challenge which is Tags and over on Ruby's Rainbow which is Tags. This post is a scheduled one so I'll pop in and join the challenge when I get home!!!

Thank you for popping on me, and don't forget to pop in on my other gorgeous Teamies over on the Saturated Canary Challenge blog.

Little High Flyer....

Image- Little High Flyer from Cuddly Buddly
Papers- A patchwork of papers- Blue from Cuddly Buddly
Sentiment- Kims 12 Round greetings from Cuddly Buddly

Morning Peeps!!
I am getting my Fathers Day cardmaking into action now and I just had to use this cute little bear from Kim over on Cuddly Buddly. He is just so sweet snuggling his star.
I printed him out and coloured him in with my promarkers and then made him look all teddy fluffy by dabbing my blender all over him in oodles of little dots. I nestied him out using my circle nesties and scalloped circle nestie for his little base. Then I dotted all over with my white gel pen, starburst sakura pen and my blue glaze pen, along with my cool grey, pastel blue and midnight blue promarkers.
I cut out the letters for daddy with my Tim Holtz chip block border die in white so that the daddy really stands out and then added the little round sentiment down on the bottom left. The little bow was white but to make it match in I just coloured it up with my denim blue promarker!! bit of a cheat but an absolutely perfick match!!!

So today I have 2 duties!! one is breakfast buddy duty as Mo's little buddy sophia will be here at around 6:30am and then once Mo and I have dropped her off at nursery I am on Aunty Lou duty with my niece Lily-boo. I am quite excited though as I have booked Mo and Boo in to do a clay critter at our local nature park. They are going to make a bug with air drying clay and lots of natural bits like twigs, feathers etc. Mo is sooooo excited about it!!
So a good cup of tea, a bit of toast and a bloggy womble and I will be fit to go!! lol!!!
Huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 88- lets celebrate fathers day!!

Image- Ricky Fishing Expert from Tiddly Inks.
Morning Peeps!!!!
yey!! its that Tiddlying time of week agaon!! wohoooo Tiddly Tuesday!!!
and  over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog we have a new challenge for you this week and its an awesome one! the tiddly inkers want to see ...

Fathers Day...

so anything manly really to celebrate those awesome men out there.

I chose Ricky and a good old stair step card. I love this style of card and its perfect for men because you get a yummy effect without flowers!!! he he he he!!! I just added a bit of raffia, a little fishy charm and some loopy punched borders.

I made the sentiment on my pooter. Here's a little bit of a side view of the card.
Ricky is coloured up with promarkers and a touch of stardust sakura pen on his catch of the day!! I think he is just perfect for a fathers day card and he is soooooo cute. Mo was super happy when he these new ones as his Grandad gave him an old fishing rod a few weeks ago...However Mo decided that one big one was a bit silly and promptly took it apart to make 3 fishing rods.....amazing what a ball of string can do!!!!! here. He keeps them lined up on the wall incase "the weather is good for fishing"......which generally means when some leaves...sorry Fish...have plomped into his paddling pool and "need to be caught"....

I am popping Ricky in a couple of challenges too, they are....

Love to Create: Father's Day or a Special Guy in your Life
Here Come the Boys: Anything Goes

Last night Scott and I sat and watched the Royal Jubilee Concert and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found it so emotional and what I love even more is that Mo is already singing happily away to the commonwealth song by Gary Barlow and Army Wives 'Sing'. He knows how to find it on youtube and loves it!! I really rather love it too....nothing to do with Gary Barlow of course.....:)

Today we are off out to Belton House in Grantham so Mo can check out the new indoor play area they have made. He loves it at Belton House but the indoor play area only opened last week and he is rather keen to "give it a go"!!!!

So before I pootle off to make picnic lunch, don't forget to pop over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and check out my awesome Tiddly Inking Pals creations and then grab a manly Tiddly image and join in. You must use a Tiddly Inks image to be in with the chance to win!!

Right then!! off I pop!!! have a great day everyone and super huge hugs for popping in on me and all your lovely comments that keep me going xxxxxxxxx
