Afternoon Peeps!!

photo
oooooh I love these spooky autumnal colours, they are just divine.

I used the little trio of Witchkeys on my card today. I printed them out onto a large luggage tag and left them uncoloured.I tied a bit of thread around the end of the tag, added some spider web and a spider and then roughed up the edges with some distress inks.
Then using I embossed a spooky house and distressed strips onto some c'oredinations card and gave them a good rub to get the core colour to pop through in places. I distressed all the edges and added a yummy bit of spider web and a plastic spider to it!!

The little stamps on the tag are from the  CC Designs Halloween Logos set and the corners are Cherry Lynn Lace Deco B  .

I am popping this in the MAWTT challenge blogs Tag It challenge.

So pop in and see what my awesome canary teamies have been making and join in with the fun but.....

You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp
and follow the theme of the challenge.

I couldn't resist popping another little Poppy piccy on for you all so here's my little furball princess just getting ready for a snoozley this morning....
she's soooo cute!!!!

Thank you for popping in on me today

A card for Daddy!!

Morning again!! he he he!!
Its midway challenge over on the FAS challenge blog and my make just had to be a totally cute one!! here's a quick reminder of the sketch too....
Scott has a room divider/notice board at work and it is full of piccies of our family and pictures Mo and Ryan have drawn for him so I just had to make him a little something from the furball princess to take to add to his board tomorrow when he goes back to work.

The picture is...of course..our gorgeous little princess furball Poppy that Scott took on saturday. I adore this picture so much and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat's Simple Sentiments set. I love this set so much,it has so many gorgeous little sayings on it and this one was just perfect for the card.

I doodled some little lines and kisses around the sentiment part then just added a little punched scalloped border and some black organza ribbon tied through some hearts.

And my super clever little princess furball even wrote her own name inside!! a little brown paint and one teeny paw........
and baby wipes for cleaning up after!!! lol!!!! but I just know Scott will love taking this to work with him when he goes in tomorrow. Today he has the day off for us to take Poppy for her first set on injections....Poor Poppy!!! and what has she been up to this morning you wonder.....
Hidey......
 Boo!!!!!!
Yup!! Mummy's handbag is just soooo much fun!!!! I just had to take some piccies because my bag is covered in little cat piccies!!!! romfl!!!!

But I am so very proud of her because she has had just 2 wee accidents in the house and that is it!! all the poops have been outside and she has so much praise for them from us 3 dopey doggy loving goons that I think she just loves doing them out there!!!! he he he!!! she slept from 10:30pm until 3:30am on saturday night, which was her first night here so she is one clever little girly already.

Thank you for popping in on me, don't forget to pop in on the gorgeous Ruth and see what she made this week too.

Witches Warts!

Morning Peeps!!

Well its been a busy weekend with our families new little furball princess addition but last night I finally got a few minutes to have a play with some more bits of paper from my  MME Boo To You! card kit and the super fun CC Designs Halloween Logos, and get my Dies to Die for DT make made!

The drippy goo border, spotty paper and orange paper all came in the kit. The twine is from the MME Merry and Bright twine set and the little spooky house charm is just awesome!! ....and had to be rescued from the eager little hands of a Little Mo several times this week!! he he he!!!

I added a little touch of silver and green copic spica pen to the withches hat on the label. I LOVE this label!! there are a tonne of other cool stamps in the set too. I can't see it in the shop to link it in this morning but when its in you've just got to get it!! its fab!!

The witches warts themselves are of course rainbow drops (...which have also had to be rescued from the clutches of a little mo several times this week!!) oh how I love these rainbow drops!! and they were super fun to dress up as witches warts for the little trick or treating peeps that will be visiting soon.

I'll be back at 9am with my FAS post for this week, its a cutie!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Hello Peeps,
We picked Poppy up at 12:30pm and we have been having lots of snugglies and playing since she came home. Our little choccy brown furball princess is just so gorgeous I had to share some piccies Scott has snapped with you all.

She went straight out into the garden when we got home and did a wee then we had some playtime then my clever little girl went off to do a big poop in the garden!!
Now she is just so pooped out she is having a good snoozle.....
This new home stuff is sooooo tiring!!
And this is what she looks like now!!!!
soooooooo cute!!!!

A little doggy thankyou card!!

Morning peeps!!
I am so excited......actually everyone in my little house is so excited because today is Poppy day!!! we are picking Poppy up in a few hours when Mo has been to his golf lesson. (....mo was all for fetching her at 4:30am this morning when he got up and ran down to our bedroom to tell us it was Poppy Day!!!!)

Clearly we couldn't go get her quite that early....so I decided to get busy on a thank you card for the people we are getting her from and it just had to be an LOTV one with a little boy riding his bike with his pup on the back because it reminds me of mo and his stuffed toy dog,Dylan.....who still goes EVERYWHERE with Mo!!!!

The stamp is Riding my bike from LOTV. sentiment is  from the Everyday Trinkets stamp set and the corners are Cherry Lynn Lace Deco B . The little paw charm is from my yummy charm stash...which is ever growing!! and the papers are Animal Antics.

I am popping this little card over on the Totally gorjuss challenge blogs Anything goes challenge.

Right I am going to go get myself a cuppa and have a bloggy womble!
have a fantastic day peeps!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx

Office supplies fun....squeee!!

Morning Peeps!!
I have had a bit of fun and I just wanted to share it with you all for a bit of mid Saturated canary challenge inspiration.. Last week when I was wombling through bits in my crafty stash for the Office Supplies challenge over on the Saturated canary challenge blog I found my photo magnet sheets. I bought them so I can pop piccies of my family up on my craft room notice board and yesterday I had some fun with them!
Using my PSP I arranged a few gorgeous canaries all over my page and then printed them out onto my magnet sheet. I cut around them and hey presto!! canary magnets for my craft room!! super yey!!!

Now I've done it once I will so be doing it again, though next time I will be colouring them first. I daftly thought I could just promarker on them once they came out the printer but my pens did not want to work on the photo sheet so the ones that I didn't experiment on have been left in the white colour....they still look stinkin cute though don't they?!!! LOVE IT!!!

I am at work today so will catch up with you all tonight when I go bloggy wombling but if you need to do one thing today....go out and get some photo magnet sheets!!!! he he he!!! I can't wait to try a few die cuts with them next time too.

Its 2 more sleeps until our little furball princess comes home and the excitement is mounting here in our little house!!
Thank you for popping in on me
Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Smooshing!!

Romfl!! I just realised I watermarked sideways!!!
Morning Peeps!!
its hump day so I hope you are all having a great week. Yesterday I had such a lovely day.
I spent the morning catching up on housework and waiting in for Poppy's rubber mat for the boot of our car.......3 more sleeps until she is here!!!!! I am soooooo excited!!
Then I had a lovely afternoon waffling away with Sarah and had a yummy choccy chip muffin in her little summer house because the weather was lovely.
And then Hayley came to scrap with me after work. She bought me the most gorgeous bunch of sunflowers I have ever seen. They are not the really huge ones but they have the most beautiful big bushy flower heads and they look like a vase of sunshine.

I had saved this idea of a smash page to do while Hayley did a scrapbook page .....don't worry peeps, I am working on converting her to smash.....:) he he he!!!

Scott took this wonderful piccy of us on sunday while we were having our coffee in McDonalds. We are a pretty teenage kinda couple and are not afraid to show affection in public. Little Mo calls this 'Smooshing'!!! he he he!!!! and its so cute when he says ' I can see you 2 smooshing!!'
He always squooshes himself in the middle and on sunday morning he just had to get his finger in on the smooshing!!! so Scott snapped a quick piccy and I loved it so much. I took the free hot drink sticker thingy off my cup and 'borrowed' a couple of packs of sugar and stirrers to make the little flags with. I emptied the sugar out and cut the flag shape with my Die-namics Flag stix dies then glued them onto the stirrers!! cute!!
I just love this piccy so much. The second piccy on the smash page is just me and Scott's hands. I love pages like this because it is ME. this is my life and I love it. Sure we have challenges now and again with one thing and another out of our control but I am so in love with my little family and our time together.

I was so pleased I actually managed to do a page with Hayley too because normally I just sit and watch her, I love seeing what people make and how they place things around a scrap page and hers was beautiful. it had a stunning piccy of her little nephew, who is soooo cute, holding his grandad's finger.

Right I must get a wriggle on, need to get the washing machine on and then its another waiting in day because Poppy's bed and food should be arriving today :) :) roll on saturday dinner time when we can go fetch her!! We are all soooooooooo excited!!!

Thank you for popping in on me,Huge hugs Lou xxx

Tena lady moment?....:)

Hello again peeps!! its a 2 post day for me today because its time for a new challenge over on the FAS challenge blog too! I am the hostess with the mostest for the next 2 weeks. We have a pink theme for october too so arm yourself with some pink papers and this sketch.....
I hadn't done a tall and slim card in such a while so decided to plan the sketch around one of those!
and here's a little closer in on the sentiment I made on my computer.....

I just love to have a giggle so I decided on a good old girly breast cancer awareness card with a funny sentiment. There is nothing quite like laughing so much at something that it could be a tena moment ;) and laughter heals the soul anyway!!! he he he!!!

The paper on the bottom is from one of my fav ever Funky Hand downloads, Shabby Saturday. I love the words on it and its pink too so it fits in with our pink theme perfectly!! and the pink lace and raffia matched in lovely.

I am entering this into the Cupcake Challenge blogs Think Pink challenge, and the Totally Papercrafts Pretty pastels challenge.

Right then, got to get back to that ironing pile..!!
