something a bit different...

 Morning Peeps!!

ooh its something a bit different from me today!! I was extremely lucky to win a pocket tag book kit from my gorgeous bloggy friends Kath and Buddy and at the same time the gorgeous Zoe from Make it Crafty had a fairy digi on free for a couple of days.

So I combined them both and I had so much fun, Kath this kit was just amazing hunny. I will definitely be making more of these!! and Zoe, this fairy was so different for me to colour up and I loved it, thank you.

Here she is in another piccy to try and show her sparkliniess!!!

Today I have my gorgeous hubby with me! we don't have anything planned but it will be lovely to just hang out together (which means he will tinker about on his pooter and I will  crafty!!!)

Right, best get a wriggly on!! i have not got dressed yet and am still wombling around in my tweet me chick jammies!!!

Afternoon Peeps!!!

do you ever have one of those days where you wave and say Hi to yourself coming back in when you are on your way out several times?!!! well that would be my day today!!!!...and its not finished yet as I am on my way back out now!! but I did get time for one little bit of crafty heaven today and made a new baby card (..tomorrow I have 2 new baby cards to do, 3 birthday cards and a candle too......) and it will feel all a bit strange as it will be my first thursday not at work!!

I love this stamp,its one of my absolute favorites and never fails to make me go awwwwww!!! and the Animal Antics pad is so perfick for little sleepy baby bears!!

I added a couple of heart banners, a button and some string and then made the little name circle on my pooter.

Right, got to go!! huge hugs and squeezes!!

Me again!! he he he get me! 2 posts in one day!!! This time I am back with my Passion for Promarkers DT.

This time our challenge is Doodleicious and we want to see some doodling on your project!!

We are sponsored by the gorgeous Sally Ann from Digi Stamp Boutique again today and she is offering 6 digi's to the lucky winner...( Lou thinks about entering herself....!!!)

I used one of the super cute Abi images for my make. She is coloured up with...

Skin/ flowers- blush, sunkissed pink and coral

Dress- pastel green, tea greaan and soft green

Hair/basket- sandstone, caramel and burnt sienna

I doodled a few white gel pen dots on her flowers and cheeks and then added a bit of pearl pen to her flower centres! cute!!!

Now for my doodling..!! there is some around the edge of the paper in brown pen but the real doodling for me on this one is my very own Heart Frame. I made this frame for our Frame the Moment Tiddly Inks celebration last year and I was so very proud of it. I thought it would be just perfect for this challenge so I printed it out, coloured it in and added it to my card,just nestled in behind Abi! the sentiment comes with Abi  and I just punched a few flowers out of the scraps of my design paper.

So I promise that's me for today! I am off to get my hair trimmed before I start another day of jobs. I have so much to do today I might meet myself coming back through the door!!!

It's Tiddly Tuesday and we have an awesome challenge for you this time....

Use a Wryn!!

So looking at the gorgeous entries each challenge us Tiddly Inkers noticed that YOU love WRYN!  So for our special challenge today, we want you to use a Tiddly Inks Wryn on your project.  

Any Wryn you have will be perfect and if you don't have one yet, there are a number of cuties in the shop right HERE.  Also, there are clear stamps in case you prefer a physical stamp.

Its my little niece's birthday coming up soon and I always make her a notepad. One of my fav Wryn's .....like ever...is Wryn New Nest. Its just gorgeous.

I coloured her up with my promarkers and cut her out and layered her up on a French Pastry doily cut in kraft card and some of the gorgeous papers from the Animal Antics pad. The little Lace Deco B corners just finished it off and I added her name using the Chip Block Alphabet strip die from Lord Timmy!! the lace is from my stash of oodlies!!!

oooooh and i just got to add this little sneak peaky preview of some new wryn gorgeousness heading your way, they are just the most gorgeous release ever so keep tuned in Tiddly Inking!! he he he!!!

Right then, time for a cuppa for me. Mo is still snoozling which is good as he was absolutely shattered when he went to bed last night! I was a little unwell yesterday so I hit the hay at 9pm and Scott was straight up after me so we must of been the tired out brigade! lol !!

Morning peeps! 

I hope you are all waking up to a wonderful monday! I am all chilled out and relaxed this morning and it feels wonderful. I had the best weekend with my family and it just makes me feel on top of the world!

This morning I have a Stamping Bella Uptown Girl to share with you! this is Opal the optimist and I think she is just fabulous!! I loved colouring her up and bringing her to life, she just makes me smile!...plus I would love a glass of her red wine!!!!

I kept this a pretty CAS card, just using my Blue prints 1 set to cut a scalloped mat and adding a border of this super yummy paper (...I did consider keeping it as stroke only but thought the boss might notice I hadn't used it..!!!).

I finished it off with a few white gel pen highlights and a gorgeous bow using the pink paper cord.

Yesterday my big sister and I took to the world with a little crafty stall at a local dog show. It was so much fun seeing all the different dogs and we got a surprise visit from our cousin Steve which was wonderful. It got rained off a but in the afternoon so we packed up early but I sold 4 cards!! and 3 of them were to complete strangers. How cool is that?!!! I am so excited!!!

On today's list of jobs is Tiddly inking, ironing and sorting out cupboards!! its spring cleanies time!!!

Morning Peeps!!

I hope you are all having a totally wonderful saturday! I am!! I woke up this morning and scott and I had breakfast together....alone......!! Mo was fast asleep snoring so we got up and had 35 precious minutes together before little guy footsteps plodded down the stairs announcing  in a little voice 

" morning parents! I am awakened!!"

He is so funny!! I am not quite sure where he gets his words from but they make us smile so much!!

Anywhoo, I turned on my facebook and there in my news feed was a gorgeous 24 hour ' Thanks' freebie from Mo Manning, awwwwww! this baby is just so gorgeous and was totally perfect for a special thank you card I needed to make. (...Quick go get it before it runs out then come back to read more Lou wafflies!!!)
I am popping him over in the papertake weekly anything goes challenge.

I needed a special card because after 6 years of nursery nursing I finished my job yesterday. I have been so totally lucky to work in such a wonderful place but with Mum being poorly my ability to commit to paperwork (...which might I add I am totally pants at!!) was just not up to what I felt was needed and I decided to give my mummy priority for a while since she has given me 35 wonderful years of love.I want to give her some back and help her to adjust to the things she just cannot manage to do anymore. It is so very hard to see your mum like this and although I am very sad to leave my nursery nursing I feel totally at peace with my choice. I am so thankful to the girls too because they know I don't do fuss and being the centre of attention so Gabby gave me my gifts on our nice quiet lunchtime break.

The girls at work got me the most awesome present. (My fave is the stunning box which I am going to keep in my craft room and fill with yummy bits and bobs).....

I adore my stunning Humphrey's corner card book made by my friend Hayley,its just gorgeous and full of lovely messages. I didn't quite make it home from work last night before blubbering away like a noodle in the car!!! I will miss my gorgeous little peeps so much.

Right, enough waffling! I am off to make myself a cuppa and have it in quiet as Mo has gone to Grandad's with Daddy to fix the car. So its a cuppa and some of these yummy presents from my little peeps ti nibble on while they are out....

Before I waffley on about the new SC challenge any more I just want to say a sad farewell to our teamie, Mindy. She is such a talented lady and is off to explore new creative avenues and has just gotten a new job too so she is giving herself some time to settle into it all!!

So our Jane set us this awesome challenge this time and ooooooh I love this picture! There is so much range for creativity in this one and I just had to go with the gorgeous new Joey for it, he's such a little sweetheart!! so here's the gorgeous picture...

A special little man's first birthday card!

Morning peeps!

ok so I know i posted a similar card last week but this one was uber special!! this one was for Cole, my friend Gabby's gorgeous little man. He has had a bit of a tough year with his health bless him so I wanted to make something super special and LOTV's are always my special treat stamp to choose!!

I absolutely loved pootling along making this on saturday afternoon, it was so relaxing and I love it when a card just flows.

Yesterday we had an awesome morning at the zoo. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was so lovely to see the zoo full of people. We have had annual passes for Twycross for 3 years on the trot now and seeing the awesome changes and developments there are making is just wonderful.

When scott went out to get our picnic the queue to get in was all the way back to our car!! super busy!!!

Right, got to go as Mo and I are just going to take poppy for a little walk to see if we can find a lost dog called Ted before school, it makes me so sad to think of him lost so we thought we would try a little furball princess to see if she can work her magic!! its just down the road from our house so a little walk is no problem at all.

Morning peeps!!

awwww don't you just love this super cute little bunny?!!! I do!! I was so excited when he was sitting in my yummy new DT package that I had to inky him up and play straight away!!

I decided to go with a mono colouring play and stuck with some browns and a little creamy ivory for the lightest parts.

The cherry and his cute little nosey have some glossy accents on to make them pop!!

The little bunny stamp, papers and banner stax are all in the little bank Holiday discount sale so go snap them up quick before it ends :)

Today we are off to the zoo. We have had our brekkie of soft boiled egg and soldiers and now we are just waiting until we need to jump in the car and go!! yesterday we had a super huge clean out of our shed, cut the grass and washed the car so all the boring jobs were out of the way!  I also got a little colouring and making time in in the afternoon to make a little 1st birthday card. 

Teatime was wonderful as we treated ourselves to a chinese takeaway and our gorgeous little Mo sat telling us the story of Cain and Abel. I absolutely love the way he sucks his bible stories up like a sponge, he loves them and that is very important to us. We finished off our day by snuggling up together to watch Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat. We have seen this show sooooo many times but lets be honest, Donny Osmond in not many clothes is actually rather nice to watch!!!

SOG 30 day challenge make it furry..

Morning peeps!!
so I am still plodding along the little 30 day thang that those gorgeous SOG girlies have set up and this make was for the 'make it furry' day!!

I coloured my little cute image in with my promarkers ( in little Mo and Poppy colours of course!!) and when it came to the little pup I coloured her using all dots with my cool grey promarkers and then gently dabbed my blender pen on the top to make her go all furry. I tried to smoooshy fur out the edges of her too by running it along the edges.

Oh and I almost forgot! I masked off these cuties and stamped my magnolia text love heart over the top to get the love words behind them!!

Its so cute. Its actually an album front that I am going to make into a little album for Mo with lots of piccies in but that might take me a while!! he he he!!

Now, I've got to go now and treat myself to a couple of SOG fairies before Scott wakes up and see's me shopping for digi's!!! romfl!!
