Henpicked just for you......

Image- Cluckers from Tiddly inks.
Morning peeps!!
oooh its friday!! I LOVE fridays!!! I especially love sunny day fridays!!! and I totally love the new Cluckers images that Christy released last week! they are just so sweet!!
Here's a little piccy of them (....they are of course linked to the shop...just to help you all get there!!!!)
I used 'daddy's card' for my make today but I already have 'cluck it' coloured up! they are just so moreish!!!

I love my sentiment, I thought of it as I was colouring away and it made me smile so much I had to add it to the card. Now I have an obsession with digi papers (...you might of noticed?!!) and the sentiment on this card is just one of those awesome reasons! you see i wanted it it white so it really popped so whilst I had the file open in my adobe elements I added my sentiment and then printed it out, LOVE IT!!!
Then it was just a case of cutting out the card base and paper with my Blueprints 1 dies and gluing them all on!!

The chicks and the rooster are cut with my scalloped nesties and I added a little bit of not sure what it is called from the garden centre and a bit of twine to make it all rustic.

Right, got to go, snuggly time with Mo before school and then the car is off to the garage for a little maintenance (...I say maintenance because I don't have a clue what Scott meant when he said what needed doing on it and maintenance looks posher than I don't have a clue....!!!)

Little Mo's man sign.......

Papers- salt and pepper download from Funky Hand.

Morning everyone!!!

so this morning when Mo got up he said....
" mummy I am getting big now, I mean 8 is quite big right? so please can I have a man sign for my bedroom"

so naturally I said yes ( ...thinking to myself but I love your fabric bunting name on your door.....booo hoooooo!!) and got to work right away using some of my fav digi boy papers ever!!

salt and pepper is the first Funky Hand download I ever bought, its what got me hooked and I am still super hooked on it!!!
I covered a little beer mat with the starry paper and then sanded of the edges to make it all neat and pretty...no not pretty because its for a boy...so just neat!!
I added a little bulldog clip and some nestied paper for Mo to write his own messages on the front and then on the back....
can you all remember Mo's little sign from his bath a few weeks ago? he made it himself and Scott and I chuckled so much when we saw it
so on the back of his 'Man sign' I put this......
I hope he likes it!! the font is from the papercraft factory cd roms, its called Kontrapunkt label and I love it, especially when using the factory workspace you ca change the coour of the label background! I LOVE that!! but for this little sign black was just right!!

ok so I need to stop waffling and get myself in the car! I am off for a cuppa, crumpets and baby snuggles at my friend Sarah's house!
thank you so much for popping in and have an awesome day!

Nymph Lucy....

Dies-
memory box cherish border.
Joy! crafts Swirl number 2.
Die-Namics mini royal roses.
Morning everyone!
I have a bit of a golden oldie for you today but she is just so very sweet I couldn't help myself!!

I coloured her up with my promarkers and then hit my box of papers. These blingy and gorgeous ones from the 6x6 Blank Canvas stack just did the job perfect and would you believe I coloured her up before I even looked at the papers!!

I cut my cherish border and then embossed it with some clear embossing powder to lift it a little from the other kraft elements on the card.

A few flowers and a beautiful sentiment later and she was all done!!

here's a non blingy shot........
isn't she just so sweet?

I will be at work still when this little posty goes up so I hope you all have a magnificent monday!! and I will pop in on you all when I get up later!! lol!!

The furball princess is back to the vets today to get her bloods checked after her "lets see if we can eat the entire contents of mummy's handbag" journey on friday night!! she has been fine over the weekend so I am sure they will come back fine!

Happy Mail and a DT call......

Stamp- Happy Mail from Tiddly Inks.
Afternoon peeps!!
sorry I am so late in posting today. Mo had to have some bloods done this morning and the nurse struggled to get any to be willing to come out and had to keep trying which he found really hard and went into meltdown. He almost passed out bless him as she had to take some from a part where his magic cream hadn't reached. She said his little veins were tired from having so many bloods done recently :(  Mummy of course had to be really brave for him but inside I was just feeling awful. its so hard to see your little guy that frightened :( the nurse struggled to get a dressing on his sites afterwards as he got himself so sweaty and anxious.
Mummy to the rescue with huge snugglies and sweeties afterwards and Daddy went to fetch him some milk (...yup, Mo still prefers milk and water to drink, milk being the favourite!!) and once he had calmed down some we took him back to school to make his day as normal as possible. In a few days time we shall know a little more about what is making him poorly.

Anywhoo, enough of my trauma's!!! lol!!! I have some exciting news for you!!! Tiddly Inks are having a DT call!!!!
so all you need to do if you fancy being a Tiddly Inker is click on this gorgeous piccy coloured by our gorgeous Jodi and get the deets you need to apply. I have to say we are very excited over in team Tiddly to see who is going to be our new buddy!!!

And my little Happy Mail Wryn card...well she was just the ticket to cheer me up!! and I love the little sentiment! I added a little twist to it by popping the little bird stamp on top of the happy!! sooo cute!!!

Right. got to go. I am waiting on the Vulcan XH558 flying in to waddington for the airshow!! they skies over our village have been buzzing with gorgeous beauties all day!! I get so excited, I LOVE LOVE LOVE jets and noisy planes!!!! (Mo doesn't, he has his ear defenders out already!!) we get a whole weekend of these awesome beauties and then they all fly out on monday. Every year my Grandad comes to watch it with us from the field next to our house and Mo loves it!! right, really am going!! 15 mins until the vulcan gets in!!!!

Afternoon Peeps!!
its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and this weeks it a theme chosen by our gorgeous Maria. It is ......

"Celebration"

so think birthdays, new babies, new job, graduation etc!

I totally adore this image. She has been sat upon my desk for a couple of weeks and I really enjoyed colouring her up in my fav colours. I have this little bundle of pens in a little pot on their own on my desk because it is always the colour combo I hit first!!
The pinks are... blush, sunkissed pink and coral.
The browns are... sandstone, caramel, cocoa and burnt sienna with a touch of burnt umber for the dark bits of hair.
The blues are... pastel blue, denim blue and midnight blue.

The canary DT rocked this challenge too, they are all just so yummy so don't forget to pop in on them before you start!!

and don't forget....
You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp

Well that's me for today I guess. I am looking forward to a lovely snuggle up with hubby on the settee night and then tomorrow I am off into town to quickly to fetch my new glasses :) so excited, not had any new ones since 2009!!!!

Then the not so exciting job of taking Little Mo to the Drs for more bloods to be taken. This time is a gluten test and some allergy tests so there will be lots of snuggling involved :( he is going to school for a bit first to keep him occupied and then back to school after if he is ok. Poor little guy has had so many tests and poke and prods this year I am sure he is ready for a break now :(

Thank you for popping in on me!!

Cover Girl....... squeeeee!!

Hiyah peeps!!
ok so this is going to be a little bit of a quicky post as I am just having my cuppa before I go off to work for the night but ooooooh I just had to share my excitement with you!!

I have been proper published in a crafty magazine!!! squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Da Boss over at Funky Hand asked me if I could do a few cards for a magazine feature for the Complete Cardmaking with your PC magazine and naturally I said ooooh yes pleasey!! ( and then proceeded to panic at each card I made being good enough for a magazine!!!)

You can imagine how excited I was when it plopped through my door on saturday morning!! oh my!! there were 2 of my makes on the side of the front cover!! and then on the contents pages and even on the subscription page but the most exciting was these few pages below......

Mo was most impressed with this page and his baby photo!!!

I cannot tell you how much this has made me smile. Having awesome papers to play with made it all the more fun!! It is so lovely to see them in a magazine!!! I even got a little thank you note from Becky Higgins, the editor, saying

'thank you for the cards for complete cardmaking, I loved them- the feature looks great'

how exciting is that?!! so I feel a little bit famous now!! lol!! love the thought of peeps flicking through that magazine with something of mine in it!

Right gots to go!! a night of filling up the shelves with stuff is calling me!!! he he he!!

Huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me

Toby...

Stamp- Toby from Little Darlings Saturated Canary.
ribbon-Grey Velvet.
Dies-

Hiyah everyone!! Happy Monday!!

I have a super cute little Toby to share with you today! isn't he just the most fabulous little guy?! I decided he had a whole tonne of sparkle in that bag so I got out the Teresa Collins Stationary Noted papers as they have some great sentiments in them (....and I had seen his one whilst I was stroking the papers last week!!!) it looks just perfect with him and its such a beautiful sheet of sentiments too. I was stuck between this one and one about fairytales!!

I loved colouring this little guy up with my promarkers. I try to stick to just 3 colours when I am doodling away and the browns and blues are one of my fav colour combo's ever. This image uses-
browns- sandstone, cocoa, caramel and burnt sienna
blues- pastel blue, denim blue and midnight blue
skin- blush,sunkissed pink and coral.

I made the little banner bit on the corner using my Fishtail flags layers stax, its fabulous for those little scraps of paper! I love how they cut out and I have a thing for curling them up so they look like they are flying in the breeze!!

So this posty is all scheduled up and when it goes live I will still be at work! I am loving it!! I have 4 shifts this week so I will be soooo sleepy by wednesday but I don't mind one little bit,its so lovely to have a fab job again. I will be going to bed after dropping Mo off at school so I will be popping in on you all a bit later!!

Thank you so much for popping in! Huge hugs Lou xx
