Morning peeps!!

its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week we are Saying Thanks!!

so I got out my Kraft card and had a little play with my promarkering on craft obsession!! he he he he!! but she turned out sooo cute!!

I added a little pink twine and then cut the letters out to spell Thanks along the bottom of her kraft mat.

So its the last day of the holidays for little Mo today :( and we have had a few tears this morning already...I am sure I will be ok for tomorrow..!!lol! but no,in all seriousness it is kinda hard on me when he gets so upset about going to school :( Don't get me wrong I am sure he is ok once he gets on those school gates and into the routine again but suffering with my nerves and being a worrier myself I know only too well how the poor little guy is feeling and I so wish I could take some of that awful anticipation feel away for him. Today will mostly involve spoiling of little guy and snuggling :)

Morning everyone! wow another monday already?!!! where did that come from!!! We had a really awesome weekend, not what we had planned being at home but it was just fabulous so it worked out really well!!

Mo was at a party for his best budette yesterday afternoon and had such a good time he fell asleep as soon as his head touched the pillow when we got home ( after I had spent 10 mins trying to get the green facepaint off his face...why doe the green stain skin soooo much!!) Here is the party boy...

So my card today is a bit of a CAS make!! 

I just love this stamp and it has been sat on my stamp drawer for sooo long without me inking it up. All the talk of the little peeps going back to school inspired me to get her out and ink her up!! and I am so glad I did because she is just adorable!!

I coloured her up with my promarkers and then it was time to play with those stunning My Girl papers, oooh they are so lovely I didn't want to cut them up!! but I struggled through with small sighs and closing my eyes as my trimmer cut and my big shot did its thing to turn them into a little card!! he he he he!!

I am going to pop her over in the DP2 Goodbye Summer challenge as she is of course the Bye Bye Girl!! I might even be brave enough to try out for GDT!!

I love that sentiment,its sooo cute!! I can just imagine the determination on her face, tongue hanging out to the side as she pedals along in excitement to get to nursery/school!! I so wish I had a little boy that was excited about school....alas Mo is not and has started to fret already :( Luckily he has his fav cousin Boo to cheer him up today so thats a bonus!! I LOVE that they get to see each other so much.

Right, got to go and get some washing hung out in this gorgeous sunshine.

Layer it up and pop it out!!!

Good morning everyone!!
Well I hope you all took advantage of the awesome sale over in the Funky Hand shop?!! if you haven't, here's a little reminder for you.....

and onto my share for today!! its a zingy little number!! lovely cheery colours for the 1st September!! 

I popped a little tutorial for this card over on the Get Funky and craft blog so pop over if you fancy peeking in on it!!

We wre going to go to the caravan this weekend but dopey here had got herself all muddled and it the next 2 weekends we can pick from so today we spent at home ( though it wasn't a bad thing as Mo was sooo whacked out from all the fun at twinlakes on friday he was still catching up!!) so a couple of days at home chilling out is on the menu for us now!! 
Yesterday Mo decided that his afternoons play activity is selling mummy's cards from our drive sitting in the boot.....sigh... I didn't have the heart to tell him no- one would come but luckily our fabulous next door neighbour, Darren, was busy painting the fence outside and came to buy a couple of bits. Well that made Mo's day and that £3 was the most exciting £3 ever!! he put it in a little pot and carried it around all afternoon!!

Then we walked the furball princess on the viking way and then went off to tesco to get some bits for tea.
Now this is where I love my little guy so much, proud mamma bit coming....!!

So we went to tesco to get bits for tea and he bought Darren some maltesers " to nibble on because he will be hungry doing all that big fence" then when we had finished our tea,mo rushed out of his chair and outside to Darren and asked him if he wanted a cuppa and a chicken salad bap,then he asked me to carry his stool out so he could keep Darren company while he ate so he wasn't alone.....

Well, I had to sneak a quick picture of him! my Ipad doesn't take amazing pictures but I still love to log these little Mo-ments! He is such a special little pickle, 8 going on 40 I am sure!!  he sat out there on that little wicker stool with his Ipad keeping Darren company until 7pm when it was time for bed! when I went to fetch him Darren said Mo had been showing him some dancing too! lol!! I missed that bit!!  Mo is such a funny little dancer!!

Right, I should go. I have waffled on proud mamma waffles enough!!

Oooooooh wow I hear you say! well you are not allowed to wow until you pop in and see the absolutely stunning cards from the DT, I am telling you the girls totally rocked it this week!! 

And I LOVED playing with this image for this challenge. Now I am not very brave so I still go for a 30% opacity level on my no line digi's but the other girls are braver than me!! he he he he!!

Then all I needed to do was add some die cut flowery gorgeous ness and the job was done!! 

The dots in the background are good old splodges of promarkers and then a good going over with my blender pen.

Afternoon Peeps!!!

I hope you are all having an awesome day, I am having one of those chill out have a bit of a play days!!

This stamp just shouted at me this morning, she is just adorable and the sentiments that come with the set are just gorgeous.

Isn't she adorable?!!  I decided to colour and paper piece today so her dress and shoes are paper pieced. I love paper piecing,its so much fun! ( ...however i do now want a yellow butterfly dress for myself...!!!)

I layered up a few fishtail flags layers and then cut the butterflies to decorate here and there!! can you tell I am in a happy floaty mood today?!!! he he he he!!!

well, I am going to pootle off now. I have been invited to the party going on on my drive! ( 3 little peeps, a paddling pool with 3 chairs around it which is apparently a foot spa...a tent, a bottle of coke from darren next dor and packet of crisps from allen the other side so we should all be set!!!)

So for my card I coloured up the gorgeous 'Not my Day' image from Saturated Canary and then got to work on the recipe!!! My 3 papers are my orange cardstock, my flowery background mat and the little dotty one on the fishtail flags at the top! my embellies are a doily, a brad and my paper thread and my sentiment is a little LOTV circle sentiment!

Today I have a Mo and a Boo to keep entertained....this will be tricky as I was at work last night so I resemble a zombie...plus I am back at work at 6pm tonight so not really any time for catching up on sleep to unzombify myself.....roll on 3am tomorrow morning when I will be catching up on some well earned zzzzzzzz's!!!!

Morning everyone!!

I felt like a bit of a Bewitching kinda card!!! he he he he!!!

You all know how I love love love my Tiddly Inks and I love halloween so when these fabulous Bo Bunny papers came I knew just what I wanted to do with them.

I also fancied another go at colouring on Kraft cardstock and a witch seemed a good thing to pop onto that so I used my memento tuxedo black to stamp her on and then got colouring!!! I added a few dots here and there of white gel pen around her just to ping her out a bit.

So when this post pops up in bloggy land I will still be at work so you can have a cuppa for me and I will pop in on you all when I wake up from sleeping this afternoon!! Scott is off for bank holiday monday so I should be able to have a super duper snooze today!!!

Aftrenoon Peeps!!

I bet yuo al thought I had gone awol?!!!!! I have been enjoying a few days tucked in a little family bubble at Scott's mum and dad's caravan and it has been wonderful. More wafflies about that after card wafflies!!! :)

So I just had to ink up and colour my LOTV Man's best friend stamp on Tuesday because I got my delivery of my Diamond White paper from The Papeterie. I treated myself to some of the 160gsm one so I can put it through my printer for digi's too. 

When we got home today I had chance to make it into a card in between 4 loads of washing!!! I kept it kinda simple because I feel like its a man card!!!!

Now this little card is going up for auction to raise some pennies for the Safe and Sound doggies that Poppy's friend Betty Bundle helps out, you can find this card here on ebay for you to bid on.

So...holiday piccy time!!!!

Yesterday we had my Grandad with us for his 81st birthday. (Please excuse the piccy being a bit blurry but we took it on my Ipad and had to be quick before he blew out the candles!! he he he he!!!) We went to the beach, sat and enjoyed some yummy fresh seafood, Mo tried his first cockles and ate almost everybodies he liked them so much!! we had some time in the arcades and then wombled along the beach some more!! we said goodbye to Grandad went our for a fish and chip  tea and all crashed by 8:30pm!!!

This morning we were all awake super early so we made a mad dash for the beach in the dark to watch the sunrise. I am not sure there is anything more magical...ever!! Mo was completely mesmerized at watching it! he just stood there!!  He's so cute!!

He had Poppy's ball in his hand and she waited ever so patiently for him to throw it whilst he was watching!! look at that droopy tongue!!!!! 

and here's a bucket head Poppy!! she's so daft!!! 

and this is me and my awesome hubster, Scott. Its so hard trying to get a piccy of ourselves together when there is only you guys on the beach!! I love this piccy though because it was actually quite dark but he had to use the flash and it looks so bright behind us!!!

so there we go!! I didn't want to bore ya'll with many more!!!! though we always end up having too much fun to remember to take piccies! daft lot!!!

Morning Peeps!!

I am just home from work and writing up this post with a lovely cuppa!! It was a lovely busy night last night and I am happily sleepy!! he he he!! so I will get on with some waffling before i have a shower and go and have a good sleep!!

So its time for a fab new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its a Back to school theme!! yey!! 

Now anyone who knows me will know my little Mo does not like school, its just not his thing :( and he gets very upset and tearful after the holidays so I always make him  a something special card for that first morning back and Scott and I write in it before we go to bed and pop it in his bedroom for him to find when he wakes up. He loves it and he LOVES Harry Potter ( I actually came home to him snuggled on the settee watching the the last film right now!!!!!)

So I merged up both versions of Wizard and a wizardette for a HP themed back to school card!! I coloured them up with my promarkers and then just had some fun with the papers on my card. I used the scraps to make a cute little bundle of banners in the top right!

Ok, thats enough wafflies! I need some breakfast and a good long sleep!!
