Hi everyone!!

(The prize will be 2 images of your choice from the current images available in the shop.)

Its really important that all the challenge entries go in this thread as they may not get seen if you don't pop them there. (Apologies to those who don't have Facebook but that's where we are holding our little challenges right now.)

We can't wait to see your entries. You have 2 weeks to get your makes in. The DT girls with be picking their favourite and the winner will be announced on Tuesday 15th April!!

I used 'Harriet Hearts. She came with a cd rom on a UK crafty mag a while ago and she is too cute. Sadly not in the store though.

I am just a little bit in love with these new papers from Prima too...they were extremely stroke only but they matched the colours and feel I had to this image totally so I said a little prayer and then used a sheet or 2!!!! romfl!!!! the little sentiment type sheet is just so cool! I loved snipping a few from that and adding them on.

I promise thats my last bloggy post for today!! he he he!!

Yuki...and stroke only papers....gulp!!!

Morning Peeps!!

Hope you are all waking up to lovely mondays. I have got to do the school run, walk the pawsy peeps, go to the dentists for a filling (...long blood curdling scream inserted here...) and then take mum for her counselling session so hopefully at some point this afternoon I might get chance to sit down for a cup of tea.....albeit through a straw because my mouth will be numb!!!!!

Anywhoo, onto my makey for today!! I just adore this stamp, she is gorgeous and then there was the use of some extremely stroke only and whimper as the trimmer cuts them papers!!! in fact I think there may of been a scream...he he he!!!
Then it was just a case of splodge some colour on, rip a hole, mount and froo froo!! ahhh I love a cardmaking day me!!!

All the links you need for the bits on my card are just underneath the picture, you just need to click on the coloured names to be magically pinged to where they are in the Dies to Die For shop.

Right, well I guess I had better get started on little Mo's pack up before its time to go!! Have a wonderful day and thank you for popping in on me

A bit about us on Mothers day!!

Mo and mummy in the gardens at Alton Towers today.

There will be no paper, glue or froo froo in this post today because it is full of the most wonderful and special thing I have ever created.

Happy happy mothers day to my UK ladies. I hope you all have a day full of love with your little peeps. I have several friends whose little peeps or mummy's are in heaven so I want to send you all some extra snuggles today as you think of those dear to you. Huge hugs for you all xxxx

So, us for Mothers Day...we don't do the whole big presents thing, we do family time. Mo's school had a get a gift for mummy sale at school where they took £1 and chose a gift. I got a beautifully wrapped candle, I love it.

He made me love hearts shaped crumpets and a cup of tea and brought them up to me in bed (well...actually he gave the cup of tea to Scott to bring up because he is terrified of hot things!!)

Then we all jumped in the car and drove down to Alton Towers ( we love our Merlin cards we bought last year with our PPI pennies that came, best buy ever!!) and had a wonderful time exploring the gardens there. If you haven't ever been the gardens at Alton Towers are just stunning. Scott got on a couple of the roller coasters he loves and Mo and I plodded off into the greenery and explored whilst Scott was off thrill seeking! Mo LOVES gardens just like me so it was fabulous...

There are huge stones for climbing on and jumping off....or just being a little poser to indulge your mummy.....
We had lunch and then headed home. I am not at work tonight so its a lovely chilled feeling in our house this afternoon.

Mo and I made a heart with our fingers this morning...
Thank you for popping in

Tilda for Mothers day...

Stamp- Tilda blowing kisses.
Crafting magnets from Guys Magnets.
Afternoon peeps!!

I hope you have all had...or depending on time zoneage, are waking up to.... a wonderful saturday.
I have had a super day. We went into town for Mo to spend his £5 treat for having such a wonderful week at school (he chose the new Captain Underpants book...and has read it all already...and 2 Lego mini figures....he got Shakespeare so he was super happy!!) and then we met Scott's mum and dad for lunch...and I was really excited because I got to give her her mothers day bag card early!!

I was especially happy yesterday because I realized on wednesday that I had run out of my magnets that I make these little bags with (..on the piccy below you can just see one on the underside of the bag lid and and the front of the bag)....so big panic and then calm as I found some at Guys Magnets shop on ebay and popped in my order.

They are soooo strong. I attached them to the bag with a little squidge of strong tacky tape on each one and hey presto worry over!!!

Now I can't sing the praises of Guys Magnets enough because they are an awesome price and they came so quickly (I actually had 2 bags to get finished...totally forgot to take a good piccy of the other one I made for a friend's sister...doh Lou!!) but in the crafty little world of Lou it is just so exciting to find a new and fabulous place to get my magnets from. They came in a pack of 50 so I have plenty for my little bag cards and albums I love to make! yipeeeeee!!! ( ....yup...expect to see lots of mini albums popping up! lol!!!)

So another quick piccy of the bag closed....I added some rolled daisies to the front of this one with it being for a very special lady and mothers day....

and another quick piccy of the card nestled inside its box. I used the gorgeous new MFT Banner Greetings stamp and die sets, I curled it around my chubby lil thumb to get a curve in it and glued down the 2 valleys either end to keep it popped out. It looked so cool.

Right, thats me for today! I am off to make us a little salad for tea as we are still kind of rolling around full of chinese buffet but just neeeeed a little something!!

Thank you for popping in on me!

Retro Fun........

Good Morning everyone!!!
Its that time of month again for our 'Forgotten Funkies' showcase over on the Get Funky and Craft blog!!! and each month the fabulous Funkette's are over on our blog showing off some new makes with our older downloads.

Today's showcase is centered all around the gorgeously funky and zingy 'Retro Fun Wordbook' download. Just look at these stunning papers, they really pack a colourful punch so they are most definitely too good to be forgotten!!!

Retro Fun downloadable craft word book
I love these papers. They are so happy and cheery and just what I needed to cheer up a rainy day yesterday!! and how does this little box open?!! .....
Isn't it cute?! I got it from the silhouette store. Its Samantha Walkers 3D Surprise box.
I added a couple of rolled daises to the belly band and punched some teeny little leaves. This box would be so perfect to tuck a little mothers day gift into!

Don't forget to pop over to the Get Funky and Craft blog and see what the girls made, they all rocked this showcase!

Thank you for popping in on me

Hi everyone!!

I went for the darker skin tones again and I LOVE how she turned out. I had some new stroke only papers in my Dt box from tracy at Dies to Die For and ooooooooh they are so good! they are called 'Its a Celebration' and I was very sly and used just one sheet of stroke only-ness to make this card! go me!! ....more left to stroke!! he he he!!!!

Right, got to go! I need to go and snuggle up with a certain cute little guy who means the world to me.

Huge hugs for you all and thank you for popping in on me

Browns- Burnt sienna, caramel and sandstone.

Good morning gorgeous peeps of the world!!

How are you all this morning? I am planning a lovely crafty day once I have dropped off the Mo-ster at school and walked the pawsy peeps! its raining outside so whats better to cheer up the day than some crafty goodness?!!!!

So its time for a new challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog and this week it was chosen by our teamie Julie and its ...

Embossing!!
( use heat or dry embossing on your make)
we are sponsored by

As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.

Oh man....embossing?!! I have not embossed in so long I think I had actually forgotten how to do it!!! ....cue embossing folders box and a good old delve into it!!!

I had coloured Danni and Danny from Tiddly Inks up last week so I just had to use them. I fussy cut them both out and popped Danny onto a little circle for the card inside. He's soooooo cute!! and Danni ( omg, she is soooo good to colour, Love her!!) stood on the outside.

Here's a piccy of the card outside its little pocket...
I made the card and the pocket using the Die-Namics Blueprints 9. OOOOOOOOOHHHH if you don't have this set you totally neeeeeeed it!! it comes with a little die included in the set that you can make little pocket cards with the tag shape! its sooo cool!

I made the card by folding my cardstock in half and just nudging the top fold down a few mm's so the die didn't cut into it. I know you think I am all obsessed with Die-namics blueprints but seriously..those sets are sooooo versatile they rock!!! and teamed up with an uber cute Tiddly inks stamp? well, that just rocks the cardmaking fun!!!

Right, best get my butt into gear! Mo slept until 5:45am this morning so we have had a bit of a lazy morning!

Huge hugs for you all, thankyou for popping in on me

An owl for easter!!!!

Morning everyone!
Its Lou in with my monday post for you all today and I had possibly the most fun ever making this little pop up box card for my little guy for easter.

The base for this pop up box is from the Silhouette store, I LOVE it! its the cutest box to make a scene for this stamp! but if you don't have a silhouette, you can find directions for making a pop up box card HERE. They are the most awesome base to add your favourite stamps and die cuts to.

I coloured my Bildmalarna Little winged friends Owlwith my promarkers and then snipped him out carefully with my scissors so I could add him to my little scene!!!

and the reason for this card for my little guy?!! its because of this photo....
awww, how cute does he look in this piccy! this was taken in July 2008 and his hair was still white blonde then!!

Have a great day everyone! I will be in for a visit tonight as I will be snoring after the school run after a night at work!!

Thank you for popping in on me!

Huge hugs Lou xxx

Eva.....

Promarkers-
skin- Burnt sienna,caramel and sandstone.
Dress- coral,sunkissed pink and blush.
Morning everyone!!

well I am running a squidge behind with posting today! not sure why! I just seem to be a bit slow today!!!

Its my turn to post over on the SC Inspiration blog and today I decided to ink up the stunning Eva stamp. I do just love her so much because she reminds me of my 2 little sisters, so i went with their skin colours for this one.

And oh my, those papers!! I broke into my stroke only Bo Bunny collection pack for this one because I needed some floaty light paper gorgeousness and of course a couple more pages of that fabulous 7 Dots Studio The Queens Heart. I love those sentiments they have written in there and they are just right for the feel I wanted for this card, like a dreamy floaty go out there and get what you want kinda mood.

Well, I have the munchies. I am feeling so much better today so I am going to go for it and grab a cuppa and a couple of slices of toast whilst I have a womble through facebook and bloggy land!

Huge hugs for you all, thank you for popping in on me!
