A little post from Me!! Tilda with a Bee!!

Stamp- Tilda with bee.

Well! Hello little blogaverse of mine!

It's been a long while since I've posted so I thought I bet swoosh away the cobwebs and tumbleweeds and post a card I made back in August!!

Since August we have been busy with renovating our crafty garage into a little room for Little Mo to have a little more independence and continue to develop his skills of bravery!!!! (I say Little Mo but the truth is he is an 18 year old who towers above me now!!!!).

He is quite happily pootling doing his second year of his Level 3 in Animal Management and has a lovely little job in a local kennels as a kennel assistant which he thoroughly enjoys.

I am still pootling along making cards tough I haven't really been able to reach any of my stamps, dies, pens etc since we started the garage conversion because they are all tucked away safe for when Scott makes me a new crafty space upstairs in the house in Mo's old bedroom when he goes out to his new little room in the garage!

Right, that's the pooter keys back in blag action and the dust blown away so I'll get back to assisting Scott with the new sliding doors we are putting in upstairs! I might be a little bit addicted to them but the space they give you back from open/close type doors in a smaller house like ours is phenomenal, our en suite feels soooo big now.....well......it would do if it wasn't full of my craft draws and boxes.....!!!

Huge hugs, Lou xxxx

LOTV Mans Best Friend...

Stamp- Man's Best Friend from LOTV.

( goldie oldie but still available in digital format HERE)

Papers- Cosmo Cricket Earth Love.

Dies- MFT Wonky Circles, MFT grassy Edge, Magnolia DooHickey Fence.

Morning all!

How are we all today? Good, I hope.

We took Mo to college and I knew it was going to be a LOTV crafty kind of morning right away! I just felt it in my bones! he he!

And I decided to tackle that age-old Man card struggle too! it just had to be done! so out came my gorgeous golden oldie, Man's Best Friend stamp. I love this stamp so much, it's just so sweet,

I cut out my wonky circles die and then masked off the very bottom part before I stamped that cute little pair of snugglers so they were all 'even' in the frame with space around them. Then I popped the paper back into the die so I could distress ink my sky background in before I started to colour them up so that I had a lovely clean white edge around the circle.

A little splodge of distress ink colour and my cuties were done. I had some Earth love papers left over from another card so I decided to use them up on this make. I also couldn't resist a little die cut fence and grassy edge just to finish off the scene.

Some makes just come together really quickly and in such a relaxing way. I really enjoyed making this one. I'm not really sure what I've got planned to do until I pick Mo up at 2pm today. We walked the dogs quickly because it looked like rain so a little bit of chilling out mummy time may be inserted into my day! At 4pm Mo has a quick 15min 1:1 at riding before watching to see if he thinks he might like to try joining a small group of riders for lessons from next week. He was absolutely terrified of the idea when we mentioned it but warmed up to it a little later so all we can do is try. ASD and anxiety can be such a cruel mix for him sometimes but we are so proud of him for at least watching to see what he thinks.

Right, time for me to go before I waffle on at y'all all day!!! Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

A little GDT for Mo's Digital Pencil challenges...

Images- 6 Baby Fairies (girls).

6 Baby Fairies (boys).

Papers- 6x6 Hideaway paper pad from Trimcraft.

Morning everyone!

How are you all today. I am so excited because I am doing a little GDT post for the challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil challenge blog.

I just had to use those super sweet little 6 baby Fairies sets because it does just feel a bit magical that the world is trying to return to some normality and learn to live with all this COVID stuff happening. The thought of being able to fly to a friend and actually touch them one day again is just the best thought isn't it?!

I kept my image nice and simple. I needed to horizontally flip one of my little fairy babies so that I could nudge them together in the merge to touch hands, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep I LOVE it!!

Then a little bit of distress marker colouring and it was ready for some Lou froo.

The design papers are a golden oldie from Trimcraft but now and again we have to dip into our stroke only papers don't we?!!

Right, time for me to scoot! there is a cup of tea with my name on it!!

Huge hugs

Lou xxx

Gorjuss Bumble Bee Girl...

Stamp- Bumble Bee Girl from Sugar Nellie.

Papers- My Dearest Sophia by Pion Design.

Morning all!

How are we all today? Mo has a riding lesson at 9am so I thought I'd nip into my blog before we leave.

Today's share is a make with a golden oldie (and sadly retired) Gorjuss Girl stamp from Sugar Nellie. I have a few of the old ones and have to say they are still my favourites. The quality of the stamps was just always so amazing from Sugar Nellie.

I coloured her up with my Distress Inks and added a little bling to her wings and tights...sooo hard to see in my poop Lou photography skills though!! lol!!

I also absolutely adore the Pion Desing papers from the My Dearest Sophia collection. The design on them is just so delicate and pretty.

The little sentiment is a Taylored Expression one, along with the little tag die it is cut out with.

Right, must scoot and get myself ready for watching Mo. I have to admit I am still a little skittish after seeing him have his first fall a couple of weeks ago but he is a superstar. He got straight back on and hasn't once thought he wouldn't carry on.

Thank you for popping in, Huge hugs Lou xxxxxx

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Unicorn...

Papers- Basic Grey Two Scoops 6x6 pad.

Coloured with Distress inks.

Morning all!

It's another Little Mo sleep in morning so I've had time to get the washer on and hit my little blog!! wahooooo!!!

Though in all honesty, that little guy can sleep in as good as his little body needs. We are so proud of him. Yesterday h had his interview at college for the next course he would like to step up to. He was nervous but he did really well and the course tutor came to talk to us afterwards. Mo had said he wanted to do Level 1 Animal Management but she said his grades were so amazing he could do Level 3 right away. She said he had spoken really well in his interview and explained that while he is very good at the academic side of things, he is really bad socially and didn't think he would manage Level 3 so she suggested he do the Level 2 if he would like to!!! oh my! he was just thinking Level 1 so the choice of Level 2 is just amazing! So he had an unconditional offer for both Level 1 and Level 2 and the lovely course tutor is going to send him some Level 2 example work to try to see if he feels comfortable with Level 2 before making a final decision because she thinks he'd be really good at it!!

Anyways! enough proud mamma waffling on! time to chat about my make for today!

I just couldn't resist the new Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Unicorn. She is just too sweet. Stamped out with my staz on jet black, I got to work with colouring the background first. It was a lot of splodging and spreading out of the inks but it looked so magical when I had done! then I got to work on colouring my little unicorn girl up. She is such a joy to colour she really is.

The papers are from one of my very, very stroke only because there are no more Basic Grey 6x6 pads!! I have had these pads since waaaaaaay back when I first started crafting and they are still the most beautiful ones. I will be genuinely sad when they run out because they are not all in digital format at Snap, Click, Supply yet and of course, Two Scoops is one of the ones they don't have in!

Right, I'm going to dive into the cinnamon buns Scott has just baked ( well, not like baker style though, he bought them when we went to IKEA for our wardrobe drawers last week from the freezers in the marketplace bit so it's more a just put them in the oven job!! lol!!!) and have a cuppa.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!! Huge hugs Lou xxx

A little Lovebug!!

Image- Lovebug from Tiddly Inks.

Papers- Gnome Sweet Gnome paper pack.

Morning all!

I was up at 2am again. It seems that sleep is an elusive thing the older I get! so Scott and I gave up trying to get back to sleep at 4am and came down. I made us a lovely omlette and toast each and we had breakfast together in the quiet whilst Mo still slept (...and I must admit...it's 6:50am he is still sleeping! I've got 2 loads of laundry done and made a card and he is still sleeping!! wahoooo!!!).

So this is the result of a little crafty time in the morning. Of course, the MFT Blueprints 1 die set is always a huge help with making a quick little card. I absolutely love these golden oldie die sets and I so wish they would go back to making more of them.

What are you all up to today? I am going to have a quick hoover through when Mo wakes up and then it's what we call 'chill day' here. I always make sure we have a chill day on a Wednesday because Mo is at college tomorrow for his 9am-2pm day and it still takes a lot out of him and leaves him pretty exhausted so today we just do whatever we fancy. I think I'm going to have a play in my crafty garage a bit more. I have a super cute new couple of Stamping Bella stamps to play with so I think that's my plan of action!

Have a magical day everyone!

Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Aloha!!!

Image- Pineapple Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Papers- Aloha by Designs By Dani.

Morning all!

How are we all today? Here the sun is shining and it's such a pretty day.

Little Mo has been busy baking a nettle cake and is just having a bath while they cool so he can do his buttercream so I thought I'd sneak a quick blog post in to share my super cute Pineapple Girl make.

Isn't she just the sweetest? I coloured her up a few weeks ago with my distress inks and have only just got round to getting her on a card.

Those gorgeous leaves are from one of my Magnolia Doo Hickey club die sets. I love them, they are perfect for palm looking greenery! the little Aloha sentiment is from one of my MFT stamps sets, along with the little hibiscus flowers at the bottom of the fronds.

The papers are some of my absolute favourites. They are digital ones so always there on hand to print out and use whenever I fancy. They are just such happy papers and who doesn't love happy.

I'm poping this cutie over in the challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil challenge blog. Please do remember to join in with their challenges if you have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image because challenge blogs are just so special and something we really need to keep in our crafty lives.

Well, I'm going to take my extra few moments of peace and make myself a coffee. I'm really trying to cut down on it to just a couple of cups a week now because as much as I love it, it doesn't love me and makes me a little anxious now and again. So this cup I will enjoy to the max!

Have a wonderful day everyone, huge hugs Lou xx

LOTV Balloon Basket..

Image- Balloon Basket from LOTV.

Papers- DCWV Nursery Baby Girl 8x8 pack.

Good Morning all!!

It's Friday and ya'll know how much I love a Friday! Scott is off work and Mo is at college which means we get a mini date day (...at home due to lockdown but I'll still take it!!). The weather looks very much like it might rain today so I think it will just be a chilling together kind of day but still so lovely.

This mornings share is a card I made in February but I haven't popped on my blog yet so I thought Friday cuteness would be just perfect! I used my stamp for this but I've linked the digital version that is available now for you all.

The papers are golden oldies from my DCWV Nursery baby girl pad....I actually don't know how I am going to feel when these run out, I don't know if they do it anymore!

Right, time for me to scoot! before we take Mo to college we have that wonderful job of scraping out the wheelie bin bottom from being emptied yesterday. I have decided I am going to pop a wheelie bin bag in it from now on to try and stop it happening because it's just gross when they've emptied it and it's all stuck on the bottom still!! lol!!!

Huge Friday hugs, Lou xxxx

Masked Munchkins from Tiddly Inks!

Image- Masked Munchkins from Tiddly Inks.

Good Morning all!

Another week nearly nipped me by without a little bit of blogging!! but today I just couldn't resist sharing my little Tiddly Inks skunk with you! he is just the cutest!!

The I love you paper is a retired paper from Tiddly Inks too and the black and white ones are from my ermmmmm, not sure what they were drawer!! romfl!!!

Of course a little die cutting and Lou froo was also required!

So, how are you all this week? Mo has his last 2 days at college this week before Easter break and we are still quite locked down here in the UK so there is not really much to do. It feels very groundhog day-ish here!

Right, I need to get my 'drive the small to college' head on! I'd rather sit and colour the Edwin and Tin Tin magnolia stamp scene I have made than go out though!! he he!!!

Have a fabulous day everyone, huge hugs Lou xxx

A little make for me!!

Image- Woodsie Friends from Krista Smith Stamps.

Papers- Echo Park Witches and Wizards pack 1.

Good Morning all!

Well my not so little guy is still fast asleep after a bit of a marathon Agatha Christie read on his kindle last night. He is on Murder on the orient express. He has seen the film at least 12 times but decided he rather needed to read the real thing too! with charity bookshops being closed he hasn't been able to buy any more of the 'real' thing so resorting to Kindle has happened a lot recently!!

I thought whilst he is still snoring away I would have a cuppa and 5 mins to write a blog post and share the journal I made for myself last week with you. It's soooooo good to make yourself something now and again and I loved making this.

I have to say I am finding distress ink colouring so relaxing. I think it is definitely going to be the way forward for me in colouring. I just need to start looking for a better laser printer I think. My Epson workforce died on me last year and I replaced it with a canon but I do miss that watertight durabrite ink my workforce smashed out so much. For now, I am using Scott's cheap little Brother laser printer so it's not all bad!

To keep my journal papers and image all nice and safe I gave it a good old spray with satin sealer. There's nothing sadder than getting a splodge of tea on your lovely work and it running is there? ...not that I can pre-empt my utter clumsiness at all......bwah ha ha ha ha!!!!

Right, time to sneak in another cuppa before Captain was small but not so small comes down the stairs!!! Thank you so much for nipping in! Huge hugs, Lou xxx
