Aloha!!!

Image- Pineapple Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Papers- Aloha by Designs By Dani.

Morning all!

How are we all today? Here the sun is shining and it's such a pretty day.

Little Mo has been busy baking a nettle cake and is just having a bath while they cool so he can do his buttercream so I thought I'd sneak a quick blog post in to share my super cute Pineapple Girl make.

Isn't she just the sweetest? I coloured her up a few weeks ago with my distress inks and have only just got round to getting her on a card.

Those gorgeous leaves are from one of my Magnolia Doo Hickey club die sets. I love them, they are perfect for palm looking greenery! the little Aloha sentiment is from one of my MFT stamps sets, along with the little hibiscus flowers at the bottom of the fronds.

The papers are some of my absolute favourites. They are digital ones so always there on hand to print out and use whenever I fancy. They are just such happy papers and who doesn't love happy.

I'm poping this cutie over in the challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil challenge blog. Please do remember to join in with their challenges if you have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image because challenge blogs are just so special and something we really need to keep in our crafty lives.

Well, I'm going to take my extra few moments of peace and make myself a coffee. I'm really trying to cut down on it to just a couple of cups a week now because as much as I love it, it doesn't love me and makes me a little anxious now and again. So this cup I will enjoy to the max!

Have a wonderful day everyone, huge hugs Lou xx

A wish for you.....

Image- A wish for you.

Good Morning all!!

Well, I woke up to a  beautiful email from my lovely blogging friend, Bunny. And I have to say it absolutely made my day.

I had figured the only people popping in on my blog recently were the stupid blog spammers from Bloglovin' ( ackkkk!!) but no! someone was actually missing my daft ramblings and Lou makes! So Bunny, I got out of bed and made this card just because you made me feel like a million dollars this morning. Thank you so much.

I absolutely fell in love with this image when Maurie posted her up on the Patreon page. I coloured her up last week and then she was just sitting on my desk waiting for her place to be!

I used a new skin colour combo for me of Copic numbers E000, E53 and BV00 and I love how it came out. Her little cheeks are R20, just a teeny touch but she looks so sweet.

The papers are digital ones from Gnome Sweet Gnome from Designs by Dani. I got them from a Snap, Click, Supply one buck Wednesday. I do love one buck Wednesday because I love my digital papers so much. Having them on hand to just print out the ones you need instead of storing a whole pack you might only use a few sheets of is magic to me!!!

Right, I've got to scoot. My tummy is calling me telling me it needs some sustenance!!! time for brekkie me thinks!!

Have a magical day everyone, huge hugs and love, Lou xxxx

Meeya...

Image- Meeya from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Morning all!!

ooooooooooooh it feels like forever since I just took part in a challenge as me, just a little Lou customer enjoying her images and wanting to play away and boy oh boy does it feel soooooo good!! and of course, there would be no better challenge to jump in on that Mo's Digital Pencil challenges!!

The super sweet little Meeya was just calling me from her rock to be coloured in so I went for it!!

And I've got to say, the sketch to follow is a really cool one! I love it!!
I just swapped out those flowers for some of the shells I collect from the beach when we go. Lordy I do miss the beach.
Someone once asked me how I use the shells from the beach and don't they smell. Well, here is my trick!! when we get home I pop them all in a little netting bag and then the next time the dishwasher goes on I pop them on the top shelf with the rest of the glasses etc in there and wahooo! no smelly shells!!! he he!!

Right, I need to go and hang out the laundry a Little Mo kindly sorted and put on for me this morning. He's such a sweetheart bless him!

Have an amazing Saturday everyone! huge hugs, Lou xxx

Got the wreath......

Good afternoon gorgeous peeps!

It's been a wonderful but busy day here in my little house this morning! The sun was happily shining so I took the opportunity to get the laundry on as soon as we got up. Mo actually had a lovely lie in and didn't wake up until 6:30am and woke up raring to go so we got mo-melearning done nice and early.

Then I had a really good clean out in my craft room and cleared 6 draws out into just 2! go me! it feels so much better too. Scott helped me move the printers and my photo-taking box around and it looks so much less cluttered now which is great as Scott is working from home out there so I am keen to keep it clean and airy for him, no one wants to work in a wifey cluttered environment right?!!! he he!

Now, I have been practising with my copics this week. I only have a few colours and have ordered a few more because I am absolutely disappointed with the quality of the newer promarkers. They run out so much quicker and the quality of the ink when I'm colouring just does not feel the same so for me, a change to copics is the way I want to go. They really do feel a lot different to promarkers so it's going to be a learning curve but that is the absolute fun of it. Learning those and my pencils has been such a wonderful thing to take a hold of.

For my card this morning I used the super sweet little  Got the wreath from Mo's Digital Pencil. It is such a cauuuute image!!!! I went for a blue and red combo because...well..because I only have reds, blues, greens, a few skin colours and a couple of warm greys in copics!! I have to say though, I do love how it came out!

Then it was just a case of having some fun with die cuts to sit that little cutie on! I went with one of my favourite MFT Blueprints die sets and a couple of other golden oldies like my Memorybox wreath and my Lawn Fawn snowflakes.

I made the decision last week to step down from all my DT's. I am absolutely 100% still in love with all of them but I just felt it was time to step down and have just some crafty time just for me. I will miss all of them greatly, it felt very strange to step down and 'let go' after soooo long but I am so excited about just being a regular little customer and getting excited to use new images I buy! It feels like a new little crafty world for me again!

Right, time for a cuppa I think! Huge hugs and love for you all, Lou xxxxx

Little Monsters!!!

Image- Cupcake Monster.
Happy Birthday sentiment- Evan with iPad.

Hello everyone!!

oooh, I'm late in but I have been having new baby snuggles so my mind wandered from remembering to blog my make for this week!! oopsie! but oh my....who wouldn't stop to take in some gorgeous new baby snuggles?

But these cutie pie little monsters from Cupcake Monster called me to blog them because they too are extreeeeeeeeemly cute!!!! I do adore them!!

I coloured them up with my polychromos. I am having the best time learning with my pencils and I love how these cuties came out. I have been using the colour blends Alyce kindly put on Kit and Clowder HERE. I have found them an absolute lifesaver while I poodle along learning how to use them and she has them for pens and pencils.

This time I sat them on the Happy Birthday sentiment from Evan with iPad. It just seemed perfect for 2 cuties to sit on and send someone some birthday love.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Baby Fairy lunchbox note...

 Image- 6 Baby Fairies.
Sentiment- My Valentine Fairy.
Good Morning everyone!!

I'm so excited to share my little make for the March challenge Let's Do Green'!! I had the best fun making this super sweet little lunchbox note.

Green is not normally a colour I use much other than on leaves so it felt really great to use it in a different way to colour up my little fairies wings.

This beautiful sentiment comes from the My Valentine Fairy set. It's such an uplifting little quote and it really makes me smile.

This Mini Note dienamic is one of my favourite dies EVER!! It just makes the sweetest little teeny note, perfect to tuck into lunchboxes, wallets or bags. The branches on the front are from my latest Doo Hickey 24 set.

And here it is all closed up...

Who wouldn't love a little lunchbox note like that?!! so cute!! Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xxxx

Soccer Girl...

Morning all!

I hope you are all waking up to a wonderfully crafty week? Today I am sharing my make using Soccer Girl s (redux).

This card is for my wonderful BF's daughter. She LOVES football and supports Aston Villa so I just had to do her a football-related card with her team colours! I had the best fun making this card!!

And this image is a bargain because you get 2 for the price of one! The older version is included in the download too!! winner winner chicken dinner!!!
Right, I am going to indulge in my large cup of coffee and take in the rest of the quiet before my gorgeous little man comes down. One of the absolute bonus's of Home Ed is that he can wake up and enjoy his reading before he feels ready to come down and learn. I love it. And his little personality is really coming back now. I am so pleased. His self-esteem and confidence are really going up and last week he was even brave enough to start with an English tutor on 1:1 lessons to help get him ready for his exams in May/June and then he rang up, emailed and sorted out an interview for work experience!! We are so proud of him.

Thank you for popping in, Huge hugs Lou xxx

I've baked Mo some breakfast banana and chocolate chip muffins so I'm sure the smell of those will have him stirring soon!! lol!! Its Math revision today so I bet he's taking the duvet for all it can give him today!! romfl!!

Have a wonderful week everyone! Thank you for popping in on me!

Valerie in Winter....

 Image- Valerie in Winter.
Morning all!

I'm late in with my Dream Team make post today but its the start of Momelearning term 202 and y'all know that cutie patootie lil guy comes first before I do anything else! He is currently revising Combined Science so I've got a few minutes to blog the cute little hanging creation I made using Valerie in Winter and one of my favourite dies.

There are actually 3 gorgeous images to chose from in the set but I LOVE this one of Valerie holding the snowball. I used my woodware fluffy stuff to get that super sweet snow look!!!

I made a quick little tutorial for the hanger I made and you can find that HERE in our Bella and Bronte's Clubhouse facebook group.

It's so super simple but it looks so cute when it's finished! and I have plenty of hanging room for more creations!! he he!!!!

Thank you for nipping in, hugs Lou xxx

Sentiment-Warm Christmas.
Background- Moon Baby.
Hi everyone!

Ooooh, I am late popping in with my dream team blog post today but we've had a busy Mo and Mummy day today so I'm only just getting to my pooter to get this little cutie added to the blog!

I have had super fun merging a few goodies from the shop for this one ( all listed above under the first piccy!)

And here's the blingshot!!!! I really suck at capturing that blingy goodness! and a little candy cane shine too of course!!

I am so enjoying making little tree decorations this year. They look so cute and pretty and make a really quick little gifty something for those special people in your lives.

Right, I'm off for a bath and to get my pj's on! It's dark already here so I figure that a bath and pj's before tea is totally acceptable right?!!!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Sister for sale!!........

Bella from Mo's Patreon Page.
Papers- Basic Gray Pyrus- Snow Pear and Almond leafed.

Good Morning all!

Now, I have to admit I am reaching for the coffee like it is heaven this morning after another night up with our Little Mo being unwell but there is no way I couldn't nip in and share the cuteness that is my notepad make!

I used Bethy's Wagon PNG set for this one. I used this gorgeous set because I wanted to put the beautiful little Bella freebie from Mo's Patreon Page in the cart!! I love, love, love a bit of merging. It's so much fun to watch the layers of your image all knit together to make something unique and sweet!

The papers are some of my delicious 'stroke only but girl you really need to use those' Basic Gray Pyrus papers. Oh man I do so love them. They really are golden oldies but so beautiful. I made the little flowers from the leftover scraps with my MFT flower dies.

Right, I need coffee and some breakfast to try and buzz myself alive! Mo is just getting himself dressed to try a little bit of breakfast but he is a stunning grey sort of colour so I don't know how far he will get with that bless him.

Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xxx

Kady...

Images- Kady.

Good morning all!! it's Lou in with a post for you today using the cutie pie, Kady.

I had a card to make for a special little lady who is going to become a big sister soon and she is so excited!

For this inside, I used the bunny rabbit from Bronte Bits. I did a larger pink one of her and a smaller pink one for her new brother. This is the absolute joy of digital stamping!! you can get just what you need by resizing and a horizontal flip so they looked right at each other on the pop-up bit, too cute!!!

Right, I need to scoot! we have book learning to do today and I was sneaking in here whilst the little guy had a shower to start his day but now he's down so I need to shake a leg and get my 'we can do this' hat on for learning!!

Have a magical Monday everyone. Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Peeking Sloth....

Images- Peeking Sloth.
Good morning all!!

I hope you are all waking up to a magical monday!

This morning I decided on having some good old merging fun with the super cute  Peeking Sloth. I just adore him. His sleepy, happy little face just makes my heart feel happy! and he is a good start for a monday when you aren't quite feeling up to speed and trying to teach your little guy trigonometry right??!!!!

That gorgeous cloudy sky is from Laura. I positioned it so that those dreamy clouds were just above his head. Then it was onto that lovely wall for him to peek over. The wall is from the stunning Autumn Entrance set.

I really enjoyed making this card this morning so I hope it makes you all smile!

Huge hugs Lou xxx

I went for making a fun little 'howl-oween' treat holder for my little guy....(yeah, yeah, I know he's not quite so little now but he'll always be my little guy!!) but he adores Halloween so I know he'll love it!!

Right, time to scoot. I'm freezing so I am going to go and have a lovely hot bath ad get my pj's on! Hope you've all had fabulous sundays.

Pick of the Patch...........

Images- Pick of the Patch (pumpkins)
Moon Baby (star background)
Hello all!

It's proper rain doom and gloom out there today so I decided to take a little spin with my polychromo pencils and the super sweet new Pick of the Patch image from Mo's Digital Pencil. But, I took a spin on my image choice again (...well, actually my little guy chose it as normal but I decided which image of the 2 gorgeous ones in the set to use!! lol!!!).

You see, I LOVE pumpkins. I do not know what it is about them but they just make me smile inside from ear to ear and of course, I love the taste of them too!!! so, I went for using the bonus image in the set. I decided to use the pumpkins on the hay bale.
Pick of the Patch

Isn't the set so sweet? That little peep image will be my next make I promise!!! she's too darling to miss out on fully!!

The sentiment I used on my card is from my stash of MFT stamps. I think it might be my most used sentiment stamp ever, I just love it!!

Right, I'm going to go and deep condition my hair. I swear it's grown at least an inch this week! It's bonkers!! so I'm going to treat it to a lovely deep condition session and then have a bath. I've made myself some flaxseed gel today so once I've finished soaking my bones to get warm, I'm going to give that a try!

Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xx

Schoolgirl Zombie...........

Hello everyone!!

Well, in the event that I don't get so excited about the card I made for my Dream Team post tomorrow and share it today because I just can't wait...Nope...wait....that's just what I have done!!! but she's sooooo cute and I had so much fun with it!! so....I'm sneaking in with a post for you today using the terrifyingly gorgeous Schoolgirl Zombie.

And her sentiment!!! oh my days!! It's just perfect for a Monday! I couldn't help myself but make a funny little verse to go inside too! It had to be funny and zombie-themed so this is what I came up with...

I love it!! I've put it on my desk out in the crafty garage/ Little Mo Momelearning zone to keep me going tomorrow! I already know I'm going to be spent in the morning before I even get anywhere because its 5:41pm now and I am heading to bed already! I am exhausted after girly time took it's a toll on me this week.

I have new meds for it and am being referred to the hospital to see what they can do for me. I am having my bloods done on Tuesday too to check my haemoglobin levels just in case they are low but I think they'll be ok you know.

Right, my duvet is calling me! I'm going to listen to my body and go catch that train to the zzzzzz's!!!

Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xx

Paul Texting...

Image- Paul Texting.
Hi all!!

ooooooh I love this make!!! I had such a blast doing it today! I've gone for a good old Mo's Digital Pencil golden oldie, Paul Texting.

I really do love a golden oldie and the magical thing about digital images is that you can size them exactly as you want for your project. So I was able to print him just the right size to fit onto the Lawn Fawn reveal wheel card base piece I had cut out for him.

Now, I have to be honest and say I only have this many Copic ciao pens...

Yup!! that's it!! and I've had them for almost 14 years!! but they still work and have never been refilled or anything like that...though my colourless blender has run out totally now. I am going to build up my favourite colour combos of these though as the new promarkers just don't do it for me anymore. My favourite colour blends are no longer available and they run out shockingly quick now, which is such a shame because they used to rock my world.

But for so little colours in my Lou arsenal, I absolutely love how this came out, I made the image the focal point of the card with that fun little spinning element which is really perfect for 'jazzing up' a male card when you can't add the normal tonne of Lou floof of flowers and butterfly goodness!! he he!!

Thank you so much for popping in, Huge Hugs Lou xxxx

Cupcake monster, candle monster!!

 Image- Cupcake Monster.
Hi everyone!!

It's Lou in with my Monday Dream Team post today and I wanted to share the little make I have done to join in with the fabulous new challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog

If you haven't nipped over there to join in yet and not seen the gorgeous colour palette please do because the DT rocked it with their makes! this is the palette and its just dreamy...

I used  Cupcake Monster for my make. I focused on the sentiment and one of the teeny weeny cute little candle monsters that come in the set! oh my!! I just love it!! I perched him atop the sentiment. Let's take a closer peek at him!!

awwwwww the cuteness!!!!! It's so sweet when a little monster peeks up on your card right?!! he he!!!

Well, I need to shake a leg! It's time for Momelearning and this mamma needs more coffee to give me power!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Megan........

Image- Megan from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Good morning all!!

I'm super pleased you've popped in today because this little cutie, Megan, is just too super to miss!!! Don't you just love images that make you smile inside as you are colouring away? I know I do!!

Isn't she just the sweetest little superhero you've seen? I adore her! Teamed up with a few superhero papers and she's ready to go save the world!! These papers are just my favourite ones to turn to when I need some superpowers!!

We have had another lovely weekend. We got a new friend for our bunny Marvin. He is called Buddy, which I find really rather magical as Dad's favourite singer was Buddy Holly!! They have bonded quite nicely so far which is so lovely to see as the colder months are coming up and they will so love to have each other to snuggle up to and keep cosy.

We had a lovely little drive out to the local car boot sale today and bought some freshly picked raspberries and carrots, then onto Hobbycraft to get Mo a black watercolour pencil for his collection and some fun fabric quarters for him to begin making the beeswax wraps he has learnt how to make and lastly, Asda for some plain white T-shirts for him to decorate. It's going to be a bit of a crafty afternoon week next week I think!!!!

I made Scott the most scrumptious chocolate, raspberry and chantilly cream cake today to celebrate those gorgeous raspberries we bought this morning. He is rather gorgeous so he is very much worth celebrating too!! he he!!!

Right, I need to scoot. My eyes are closing for me as I sit here typing. 7:30-8:30pm seems to be my limit for awake-ness still! though I am awake rather early so I think it must all even itself out somehow!!!!

Thank you so much for popping in, hugs Lou xxx
