Morning everyone!!

I'm a bit squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee excited to share my make with you today from the new Krista Smith image release over at Make It Crafty.I've been sitting on my hands not to share this card since I made it on the 6th January....(yes!!! the 6th!!! ...my hands are numb from the weight of my butt on them! bwah ha ha ha ha !!!! but this may actually be a record of Lou being a good girl and not sharing early stakes!!!)

This is Primrose. I absolutely adore her! I printed her out just the right size to fit the gorgeous little 'Love' chippies from the Sending Adapt-a word chippie set and I LOVE how it came out! I coloured the little banner with my lightest promarkers to get those delicate little gentle folds of material in (...because I decided it would be a real deal material banner for such a soft and floaty gorgeous image right?!!!).

Once I'd made up my card base I decided I need some super sweet magical little dragonflies on there too so out came the Tinklings Mini Dragonflies. Aren't they just too cute? they are a teeny little addition to the card but make it look so lovely.

I think the papers were from my Fancy Pants Love note paper stack but I've lost the front cover of the pad now so I'm not uber sure!!!

Right, I need to try and get the umpf for the school run. It's a bit frosty here after a weak attempt at snow by mother nature...she needs to try harder!! I LOVE snow! Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Hi everyone!

I hope you've all had a wonderful Boxing Day. We've had another chill it out and just have fun day here in the Daubney House!!

I've tidied my craft room a bit so I can see big parts of my work surface now!! lol!! and I also had some fun making another lollipop/wand card (...I'm not sure what they call them but either way, they are a tonne of fun to make!!!).

Here's a closer look at the cuteness that is Taffy Lea, I think she's so sweet. I think since I found super cute paper straws in Lidl I have developed an obsession for having a go at these 'cards'....I have 3 boxes of the straws so I've got plenty more to play with!! lol!!!!

Well, it's time for me to let my head hit the pillow. I'm so sleepy tonight. I swear the less you do in your day, the more tired you get?!!!!! Thank you for popping in,

Morning peeps!

Well, I've done the school run, walked my pawsy buddy and absolutely frozen my butt off! come in and defrosted with a lovely cup of boiled water and I've made it up to my craft room for a quick bloggy catch up.

Grandad's funeral on tuesday was beautiful. The sun shone for him which he would of loved. The church service was lovely and we let out some of his friends pigeons and 2 of Grandad's  own pigeons to fly Grandad away.Then close family went on to Alford Crematorium which is just beautiful.

I'll be honest, I am finding it very hard and missing my Grandad greatly but I am muddling on through it in the normal Lou way. He wouldn't want me to be sad, but then I am not sure he realised just how loved and special he was to everyone so he will just have to forgive us all a bit of a slip in our braveness!! he he!! so yesterday I had a lovely bit of time colouring to keep myself busy.

I couldn't resist colouring up one of Krista's new images released over in the Make it Crafty store. I printed out 2 and went for the gorgeous Pretty Pumpkin. How could I not with all the yummy autumnal weather? I had the most fun doing her glittery pumpkin!! a good splodge of clear glitter pen and then glossy accents on top made it look so pretty.

Right, I am going to get another hot drink now and then have some fun with my stroke only Maja designs Sofiero papers from the Ribbon Girl pressie my gorgeous friend Wendy sent me, some days it just calls to me so much I have to go with it and cut some!! lol!!!!

Morning all!!

Well I've been busy this morning since I got up but I'm just getting a few minutes now to sit and get some me time and catch up on the old bloggy posting!! and I am so excited today because I've really been sitting on my hands since monday to post this make!! he he!!

I am so excited to be on the MIC team and even more excited to see Krista's images coming into the store! (oh my!! the squeeee's from me can probably be heard worldwide everytime Zoe tells us there's more coming!!!!!!!) and then on monday morning I woke up to see Zoe had done a live video using Fairy Wishes and covered colouring transparencies within the image ( like her wings and little skirt) and I just had to have a go right away!!

I had a blast colouring her up and then I had just the most perfect little chippies too go with her!! the Mini Dragonflies tinklings are just way too cute!!! I coloured them up and splodged some glossy accents on to pop them out even more....ooooh I love them!!

I can never get sparkle to show when I take a piccy from a distance but it's a little better cropped in! 

Right, I need to get moving! We need a little walk before we have lunch so I'm going to do that now. I am slowly getting back to being me and moving around some more now my legs and feet aren't quite so sore and swollen!! it feels so nice to be able to schmooooze around without feeling 100 yrs old already!! he he he!!

Morning peeps!!!

oooooooooooooooooh today isso exciting for me because it's my first Special Guest post over on the Make It Crafty blog! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!!! and of course...I had to use one of the gorgeous new images from Krista Smith that are now safely tucked up for you to purcahse from the Make It Crafty shop.

They are all so beautiful...and you can buy them separately or in a bundle of the whole Funky Girls collection.

I made up my own little sentiment for under the flap of the card. I wanted something super fun and Lou-ish in there so went with this.....

I am double excited today because I am spending the afternoon with one of my oldest crafty friends Lou. We haven't had any real time together for sooooooooo long but today we are off to a Macmillan Look Good, Feel Better session. For both of us to of had Breast Cancer at the same time was a bit of a shock but it has also been a god send because we have been able to chat to each other about things.....especially in the early hours of the morning when neither of us could sleep due to medications!! but today we get to be pampered and taught how to do make up and stuff. I wonder what the poor staff up there will think to 2 Lou's in one room!!! he he he!!! so this morning I am going to have a bit of crafty time and then get picked up by my wonderful Lou to go and cause some chaos!! I can't wait!!

Right, I had better go and get some breakfast. I was up in the night with a bad nose bleed so my tummy has been grumbling ever since but I have to take a tablet to help my acid reflux before I can eat and I've been waiting for that to kick in!! shredded wheat here I come!!!
