Digi Funk!!

image- flower cake .
papers- rainbow polkadots .

Morning Peeps!!
I hope you are having a wonderful wednesday!! Little Mo slept in until 6am this morning which was lurvely but my bloggy post is a squidge later than normal due to enjoying the  'Scott has gone to work and Mo isn't up yet whole cosy bed to myself' thing :) :) :)

So better late than never I am popping in to show you some of the cards I have made using Anice's gorgeous new digi stamps. They are so sweet!! I couldn't decided which one to play with first so I just printed a few out and got crafty!!

The yummy cake card digi is my fav I think, it was so much fun to colour up. And this is my friend's Fi's birthday card........sigh..it is still sat on my desk because I am totally useless at actually remembering to post the cards.......

The little flowers on this little tree stump house matched the new just for jen papers so well I just had to pop them together!!!

papers- just for jen.

and I was in a bit more of a rustic mood by the time I had gotten to this little tree stump house....

papers- Christmas Tree.

These are the lovliest digi's to colour and I am so happy Anice has branched out into doing her own stamps, she shouldn't be keeping cutie's like this all to herself now!!! :)

So today I am on the 3rd day of waiting for the Poppy cage to arrive!! I am so hoping it comes today but I am expecting another parcel too which I am over the top super excited about!! its this......
Project Life Photo Pocket Pages - Variety 1 (Pack of 60)
Squeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I cannot wait to get started popping all my little bits and bobs in my PL box ( yup, I have been stashing them all whilst saving up for these pocket pages!!)

Right time for a cuppa and bloggy womble!

Tiddly Inks challenge 103...Love is in the air!!

Morning Peeps!!

Its that Tiddly Time of week again where the Tiddly Inkers get their inky thang on over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and roll out another super fun challenge for you all!! and this week our theme is so much fun! this week its....

Love is in the air

Your creation can use any Tiddly Inks image you'd like but just make sure there is the theme of Love on your creation!!  Remember to link up before midnight on February 18th with your NEW creation using a Tiddly Inks image.

I am still head over heels in love with Jake and Emma so they just had to be on my Tiddly valentines card! They are just so cute! For this one I cut out a heart aperture and then embossed my red paper with hearts before  popping it up on some foam tape. Then I coloured in the little sweethearts and tucked into the heart.

The words and the heart on this card are all from the same Love Language die and embossing set, it is one of my absolute favs and I use it all the time!! I cut some flowers out with my scraps and added them to the bottom of the heart. The flowers are made with the Die-namics Layered Rose.

So that's me for today!! I think I may be loosing my marbles a little though as I waited in all day for Poppy's new cage for the car to arrive yesterday and it wasn't even scheduled to be delivered until today and I almost forgot to add this card to our Tiddly DT blog but remembered to add the card for our next challenge....derrrrrrr!!!.....sigh..it must be my hormones!!!!

I am popping this little sweetie into a couple of challenges...

Top Tip Tuesdays blogs Let me call you sweetheart challenge. My Top Tip is on the flowers. I always love to make mine pop a little. I did cut them and then pop them on my foam mat and roll over them with my ball embosser, I love how they curl up. Then using a smaller flower punch I just do the same again and add it to the centre of my big flower then add a little glitter/bling/liquid pearls to the centre.

Passion for Promarkers blogs Add Sparkle challenge- Love those little bits of blingy in the centres of the flowers. Promarkers I used were..
Skin- blush, sunkissed pink, coral
jake's hair- Vanilla,putty,caramel
Emma's hair- sandstone,cocoa,burnt sienna
greys- cool grey1-5
reds- poppy,crimson,burgundy

Don't forget to pop in on the challenge blog and see what my gorgeous teamies have made and don't forget.....to join in the fun you will need to use a Tiddly Inks digi or stamp!!

Feel better soon...

Morning Peeps!!
I'm here this morning with a super cute little share for the DTDF inspiration blog using the some of the new Kraftin Kimmie stamps. This poorly little cutie is from the new Love is the best medicine stamp set and I actually squeeeeed when I saw this set in my DT goodies!!!

I cut her with the biggest Floral Oval nestabilitie and coloured her up with my promarkers. I distressed all the egdes with Vintage Photo distress ink, this is my fav colour distress ink at the moment because you can make it nice and light or good and deep all in one ink pad!! The super cute little sentiments come in the pack too!

The papers are MME Happy Day and they are gorgeous!! with a touch of Bazill Hopi cardstock behind them. I added a little bit of pink and orange cooling stripe ribbon and made a little bow with some twine wrapped around it. Those little corners are Cheery Lynn Lace Deco B.

Now for the back of my card and oh boy you are going to LOVE these little cuties!!!  I used the new Handmade Trinkets...

How cute is she!!! there are 6 in the set and they are all totally gorgeous!!

I am popping this little cutie over on the Kraftin Kimmie challenge blog which is show some texture, that juicy bow and twine hopefully do the trick!! :)

I have had such a nice weekend. We went for a wonderful walk in the old quarry on saturday, Mo loved it, there's nothing better for a stone obsessed 8 yr old than an old quarry and so did Scott!oh and not forgetting Poppy!! Here they all are exploring the wall of rock!!
And then yesterday Scott and I decided it was time to paint the garden fence. Our super lovely and fabulous new neighbour cut down the huge tree's that our old neighbour let grow out of control and the light that has been let into our garden again is just so wonderful. I went for a cream coloured paint to paint the fence with and even though my arm is aching like anything this morning it is just gorgeous looking out onto our garden because it feels all seasidey with our lovely new fence colour!!

Right that's it from me for today!! Have a fabulous monday everyone

Funky Hand new release...Just for Jen!

Morning peeps!!

I hope you are all having a terrific tuesday so far!! so this morning I have a share with you from the gorgeous new Funky Hand download, Just For Jen.

Just For Jen downloadable backing papers.
And here's some words from Da Boss about this download as its a bit of a special one.....

This craft backing paper downloadable collection was created with someone very special in mind. The pink and grey colours were influenced by the Breast Cancer Awareness colour scheme. The backing papers have been designed to help you make really pretty handmade cards or scrapbook pages for special people in your lives. They include lovely flower/lace effect designs and hearts along with the always needed stripes, polka dots and plain papers to all work perfectly together. Also included are five sets of Alphabits for you to use to create your very own sentiments.
For every download purchased Funky Hand will donate £1.00 to Cancer Research.

It really is a super download too, the papers are gorgeous so don't forget to click the piccy and go peek at the DT gallery just below the description where you will find some awesome makes from the Funkettes.

For my card I cut a heart shape out of one of the plain papers and then foam mounted it onto the gorgeous heart paper so it made an appeture. The little tag is from my stash with a stamp from the Love n That stamp set .

Right, got to get Mo's breakfast buddy to her breakfast club!

mimosa hat bookmark!!

Morning all!!
its my DTDF inspiration blog day today and this week I had another bookmark to make.

I always like to try something a little different so I cut out my bookmark out of Kraft card using the Die-namics bookmark and die stamp set and then stamped on my cute little Bildmarlana mimosa hat stamp. I coloured her up and then snipped a couple of little holes around her hands to thread some blue paper cord through to make a little pretend wall, the stones in the wall are just me doodling with my promarkers but they turned out so nice. I coloured a bit of grass in and dotted some white pen for little teeny flowers and around my little girl too.

I stamped the circle from the set up at the top of the bookmark and then using Die-namics Layered Rose I cut and  layered up the flower and added a flat backed pearl to the centre to make it pop!! Then I cut an extra one and tied it onto some twine so that it can hang out of the book page.

So thats me for today!! Now while I am here I just want to let you all know about our new DTDF Creation Station facebook page that we have set up for you all to share your makes using products you have bought from the Dies to Die For shop, so please pop in and join the group!!

Right time for a cuppa for me!! Little Mo is going back to school today and I have a couple of bits to do this morning.
Thank you for popping in on me!

You stole my heart!!!

Afternoon Peeps!!
how are you all this gorgeous sunday?! so far we have had an awesome day. Little Mo is feeling much better today and we have been busy playing.

I got chance to colour up the awesome 24 hr freebie, Stole My Heart, Mo Manning shared, you might even have time to go get him before he goes up for sale in the shop. I love him to bits, he is so cheeky!!! I printed him out and coloured him up all grey apart from his juicy red heart!! so I used all my cool grey 1-5 for him and then poppy, crimson and burgundy for his heart.

The heart behind him is a brush from a set called Aunt Elizabeth Brushes that I got free from Scrapnfonts. I thought that just one big black and white heart with him would be just perfect for a man card!!

Then Mo and I made some little fimo monster dudes. Mine is called Gimp...
and mo's is called Nestlock...

I had to giggle at Mo's choice of name! I don't know where he got that from but its so funny!! I think he has a monster namg talent!! their eyes are made with glow in the dark fimo so they look super cute in the dark!!

Mo is currently making 'potions' in the bathroom...(which means I will go up and find open bottles of shampoo and talcum powder along with several of his play jugs but I don't mind one little bit because he hasn't moved from the settee or bed for almost a week now so as long as he is happy, I am happy!)

Right then! gotta go!! Got to get the oven on for chicken enchiladas! yum!! my mummy made them and gave them to us as she was asked out for lunch so that will make a lovely change.

Thank you for popping in on me

More on the new Tiddly Inks images!!

I almost forgot to share my other Tiddly makes with the new releases! I am so zombified at the moment!! lol!!!

And my make today uses  Emma- celebrate Joyfully, she is just so cute and fab for a million different uses but today she is a birthday girl!!! she is available in digi and clear stamp, this one is digi because I don't have the stamp.....yet :) :)

I cut Emma out with my Nestabilities Floral Ovals. And coloured her up with my promarkers...
skin- blush,sunkissed pink and coral
Boots- Coral and sunkissed pink
hair and dress- sandstone, cocoa and burnt sienna

Then I teamed her up with some of my stroke only basic Grey sugared papers!!! I sooo love these papers, my little  6x6 pad is looking kinda thin now.....more stroking less using required there!! and mounted her on some foam to pop her up a squidge.

The little roses around the side are my Die-namics Mini Royal Rose.I cut 2 large ones and 4 small ones and tried to roll the 4 small ones  so that there were 2 even smaller ones so they decreased in size around the frame. A bit of twine and a little heart slider with a bow and she is all done!!

The sentiment is from a freebie I got on a magazine ages ago but it just seemed to fit so nicely.

She is off to sit in the challenge over on the Charisma Cards blog which is Hearts and flowers!

Ok, Mo and I are off to drop Sophia off at breakfast club and get some more milk being as he has decided to start trying a bit more than water today and is asking for warm milk...well its a start!!

Have an awesome day
huge hugs Lou xxx

So,its friday already...

Photo copyright of Claire Spelling Photography.
Morning Peeps!!

I hope you are all having a fabulous friday. Mine is going to be a funny one. I have a poorly little Mo at home with me still, last night was dreadful but he seems a little happier this morning, and then this afternoon it is time for me to say goodbye to a dear person at his memorial service.

James lit a huge fire in anyone he met and was such a beautiful person but very sadly he died in november in a car crash. Its been a huge loss for all of his friends and family, especially his fiancée Vicky, his parents and his brother Paul. He wouldn't of wanted people to be sad about his death because he was so full of positivity. His funeral was back in november in Devizes but many of us from here in Lincoln could not make it so we are saying our goodbyes today. If you knew James and can be there I am sure that Vicky and James family would love to have you there. The service is at 2pm at All Saints Church in Nettleham,Lincoln and then onto the Lincolnshire Poacher pub for 3pm to celebrate James.

The lady who took the photograph above is the uber talented Claire Spelling. It was very hard for JRFS to come up with a fitting tribute to James but along with the help of James's close family and friends they put together an awesome calendar to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and James's memorial fund.
I am hoping to get mine soon, after all who wouldn't want to see a bit of James everyday?!
Ok, so thats me for today!
I am off to get a cuppa and have a snuggle with Mo and then take the day as it comes today!
Have a wonderful day everyone
huge hugs Lou xxx
