Morning Peeps!!!

Its my turn to post over on the DTDF Inspiration blog today and I just had to get my TGF thang on this weekend!! I absolutely adore them and they are so nice to colour up.

I did some paper piecing on this one because the Basic Grey Lucille 6x6 pad is just way to delicious to put away once you get it out so I kept finding myself excuses to squeeze a little more of it onto my card!! he he he!!!

I also had to add a few pale peach pearls, I love these!! A little glossy accents is just perfect for sticking them down too as it dries so quickly!

I hope you all had a fabulous mothers day, I know I did. A gorgeous little guy bought me tea and toast on a tray for breakfast with a gorgeous card and some awesome socks for my present. 

We went out for lunch with my mum and dad and Mo made us the most delicious tomato soup for our tea.

If you have a slow cooker get your little peeps to make some too, it was so lovely to watch him just working his way through all the ingredients in his annabel karmel cookbook and plopping them into the slow cooker all on his own ( man I love that little squidger so much) 

what a serious cooking face!! lol!!!

Right well I need to get myself moving,I need to have a cuppa and some snugglies with the little guy then once I have dropped him off at school and walked the furball princes I am off on a walk with some grumbly doggies with my friend Fern to hopefully help them to be less grumbly!!

Hope you all have a super saturday!! I have puppy school with the furball princess and that's about all for today!! 

Our mum's are getting giftcards for mothers day this year so they can choosey themselves something they fancy and I wanted a nice way to present them so I cut some cardstock at 4x8 inches, folded it in half and made a couple of mini cards to put their giftcards in.

It was super quick and easy because I used my Wishes and Kisses papercraft factory for the digi stamp and sentiment and a sheet of the yellow grid paper from the I Heart you download ( linkies at the top under my photo!!) I popped my image down onto some kraft card and punched the bottom with my martha punch and then added a little twine and a bow and it was done!! I popped it up on some foam to give it a little dimension.

Good verses Evil.....lol!!!

Morning Peeps!!

I am just flying in by the seat of my pants to remind you about our good verses evil challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog.

I have blogged this SMASH page a while ago but I wanted to share it with you again because it is so perfect for the evil side of the challenge since that is pretty much how I feel at that monthlies time!! romfl!!! 

There's a couple more piccies below but before you go peek at them I just wanted to let you know I have some cricut carts on ebay. I am happy to post them worldwide so thought I would mention it here on my blog seeing as ya'll live all over the place!!

The tea is on me!!!

Morning Peeps!! 

I have a super exciting sneaky peeky at a couple of the new releases coming to Funky Hand soon!! My gorgeous Funkette buddies and I have been busy creating some gorgeous makes for you all and Da Boss said I could share one of mine with you all today!!

So the fabulous mug is called 'The tea is on me' and is one of 4 gorgeous little digi stamp mugs that our Anice has designed herself and I love them! and the papers are from the new ' I love you sew' paper download (squeee! so excited about these papers because they are gorgeous!! just wait and see what the funkettes have been doing with them!)

I decided to make a simple little tea bag gift card because it just seemed like such a fun thing to make!! I like a bit of novelty!!

How did I make the card???!

1. cut an A4 piece of white card in half longways and then score it at 5 4/8" and 10 7/8". That sounds so confusing doesn't it!!! so lets take a peeky at how I did that...yup you guessed it! trusty score pal!!....

move your cardstock over to the left so that it is level with the 1/8 increment on the top of your scorpal (that's the first little line along the top in Lou language!!)

2. Score at 5 1/2" and 11 1/2". This will give you a little lip to turn over to close the card.

3. Punch 2 holes in the top for threading your twine (squeeee! yes Bakers Twine is available at Funky Hand!!!) through.

4. cut your design papers and decorate away!! I made a pocket for the teabag inside and attached a little punched heart with twine to the teabag by sewing it through. On the front I matted up the design papers, added a punched border and then my gorgeous mug of tea!

I love these mugs, they are so cute and the sentiments on them are great!

So its just me,Mo and Poppy this morning as our breakfast buddy is not coming today so we have had a lazy morning so far! We treated ourselves to spaghetti hoops on toast for breakfast and Mo is still in his pj's and vegging out a bit. Then today I have a squidge of ironing to do and some cards to get made so its going to be a lovely day I think.

Its that tiddlying time of week again :) which means its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its....

Clean And Simple

yes, its that little old chesnut of a challenge that sends a ripple of fear through most cardmakers thoughts!!! mwah ha ha ha haaaaa!!!!!! and please remember......

you must use a Tiddly Inks image or stamp on your creation!!

I went straight back to Mini and friends for this one because the little guy on there reminds me so much of my little Mo. 

This card is teeny weeny, another 4x4 one and a good bit of rummaging through my scraps box I had papers and a card but oh my....CAS.......sigh!!!

I really had to make myself be CAS so I coloured in my little guy and pooch and then fussy cut them out. I cut my stripey paper and then punched a little heart out at the bottom in the centre,scruffied up the edges and then mounted it onto the card on foam to pop it out a bit. Then I stuck my little guy and pooch on either side of the heart and stamped my sentiment up at the top.

So,don't forget to pop in on my gorgeous teamies, there are some absolutely stunning cards you won't want to miss out on seeing!!

I am having a crafty day today.... I hope!! I am on breakfast buddy duty, then walking the popster to heel after school ( oh my! this in itself is a job but it is going to be so worth it just by me persevering...it is you know...it really is.......romfl!!!!) bless her, she is actually doing really well so I shouldn't complain but I have to say I can't wait until we are back on our long wombles along the viking way once she has got it down to a tee!!!

Morning peeps! 

How are you all this fine monday morning? great I hope!! I had a fabulous weekend with lots of furball princess and mummy time and mo,mummy and daddy time. I seriously love the weekend and family time, it always leaves me on top of the world.

I got some crafty time on sunday afternoon while mo played on his ds next to me in my craft room ( we had made a card together before that but you will have to wait a while for that one :) ) and I have been getting prepared for mothers day! (yipee! my mom's will get their card's in plenty of time this year!!!).

The  MME- A mothers love paper pad was just so prefect for the job, the papers, borders and sentiments come from the pad and they are just gorgeous, I love them, I just had to snip out the ones I fancied from the page. I coloured up my little Mimosa -Playing stamp to co-ordinate the papers with my promarkers and then cut her out with my fav die ever!!! the  Die-namics 3x4 notebook paper die.

I added a little rustic heart die cut and a squidge of medical gauze from my stash and it was all done! go me!!! 

So today I am on breakfast buddy duty, then furball princess walking and then taking my mum to her counselling session ( her back is causing her a lot of upset at the minute) so its a full on day for me! maybe I will get a rest on tuesday!! he he he he!!!

and before I go, here's a little piccy of my little furball princess walking to heel with her awesome puppy teacher, Fern. Fern is such an amazing lady and teaching me all about the Dog Gentle method and I have to say I am loving it and Poppy is responding so well to this way of training...and she sleeps super well afterwards too!!! he he he!!!

Hope you are all raring to go for a fabulous friday!! This morning I have a mini make to share with you all!! its a mini card (4x4!!) and uses Mini!! 

I love this stamp set, its one of the cutest ones I have ever seen and so perfect for making those cute small cards. Here's a quick piccy of whats in the set....

Aren't they just adorable?!!

I teamed her up with some scraps left from my fav Pink Paislee and kraft papers and a little bit of lace that I bought from the market. She really is a little sweetheart!! the sentiment is from one of my Penny Black clearly transparent sets, Wonderful Day.

I struggled with this one!! so I went for a good image with an evil thing to happen!!!

And the challenge rules are super easy too so please remember to follow them...

and please remember you can only enter once.

So here's the stamp set Kellie sent... its called 'Keen as Mustard' and I Love it!! its going to be perfect for my Project Life pages!!

its just so cool and totally versatile too!! I made a card for the hop and a couple of Journal cards for my project Life page, one for me to journal and one for Scott...

I used my yummy new Die- Namics notebook paper die, ooooh I am so addicted to this one!! Mo loves it too!! and its 3x4 so good for my PJL folder pages!! yipeeeee!!! now I just need to get Scott to write on his before I do mine!!!! lol!! I am of course hoping he gets a little slushy and loved up on it :)

Afternoon Peeps!!

so its been one of those days for me today!! (...yup the ones where I am totally dimb....hey...wait...thats most days for me!!!!) but I am coming out of the fog now!!

I so wanted to get this card made on monday but being ill put paid to that idea and still felt really rough yesterday so slept for 4 hours!! and finally today I get chance to make it but can I do flower arranging on cards.....errr..No!! so emergency facebook beep to my bestie and for a little tutorial advice and here I am with my make!! (...actually I should confess a little here, I finished the card and it went all sunny outside so I drove up to my friends house 10 miles away and let her dogs out for a play in the garden then I rang gorgeous hubby and went to meet him in the park near his work for a walk with Poppy, there's nothing like mid day handy holdy walk with gorgeous hubby to cheer up your day:) I also managed to publish a post that should be scheduled for 1am tomorrow morning, derrrrr...time zones confuse me....chocolate required.....!!)

And I should mention too that this card is for the.....

So now I am going to have a cuppa and a couple of squares of white chocolate before I make Mo's tea, fetch him from school then go up to fetch the little boy (who is actually now a young man of 13 but will always be 16 weeks old in my eyes because thats how old he was when I started nannying for him!!!) from school and sit with him until he is picked up for football practice then come home,bath mo and go to bed!!!! phew! what a day!!!
