LOTV challenge- one from Little Mo and one from mummy!!

Morning Peeps!!

Its a gorgeous sunny day here in little ole Lincoln today which is great. Its my last day with my little lady at work and we are going to have lots of fun playing in the garden at work with bubbles.
Justbefore I go and get ready though I wanted to share Little Mo and mummy's entries for the LOTV challenge this week which is Fun and Games.

For my card I had to go with all the fun Mo and I have in the garden, he loves gardening and has his own little 'bench garden' on our front lawn. It is blooming beautifully at the moment.

I printed outthe Frame from Lilyboo designs and then masked it up with my frisket, then I stamped my super cute little LOTV stamp inside the frame!! oooh I loved it, that was definately fun. Coloured up with my promarkers it looks as if the whole lot came together as one stamp!!!!

Now on to my crafty little chap, I am so proud of him for this one. It has taken him a couple of weeks to do.
It is Little Mo's super special teachers last day today, she is retiring and Little Mo is very sad about it
:( but he did make her this super special clock.
He chose the stamp himself from the LOTV shop, the clock mechanism is from everycraftsapound and the little clockface he cut on my cricut. He made this all by himself and had lots of fun doing it, I have taken a few piccies so if I get round to it later I will adfd them in. Mo would like to enter this in the LOTV challenge as he said " I had fun making it mummy, does that count as fun and games?" awwwwwww, he's cute!!!
So here is Little Mo's clock...
and here's his card with the piccies of him making his clock...
and here's a close up of his LOTV schoolboy stamp......

He used his watercolour pencils and a paintbrush "to squidge all the colours together".

Sorry for the picture overdose, I am just so so very proud of him for making such a lovely gift for his teacher and the best bit is, he wouldn't let me help at all! The only thing he let me do was push the clock mechanism through and put the clock hands on.

Right, I had better get myself ready for work as we haven't even got dressed yet with just 20 mins to go before we leave!!!!!

Huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me and mo!!!

Cuddly Buddly challenge 3- bright colours and butterflies.

Image- Flowers Frame from Lilyboo designs at Cuddly buddly.

Morning peeps.
Its a bit of a grey and gloomy one here so I thought I would post my entry for the Cuddly Buddly challenge this week which is Bright colours and butterflies.

If you haven't popped in for a look at their new challenges you should, and don't worry if you don't own any Cuddly Buddly images as there is a whole stack of freebies you can use to get your creation made HERE.

For mine I was inspired by a beautiful picture sent to me for Mo to look at by my friend Shirley, you can look at the pictures here on Shirley's blog. I used one of Lilyboo's images from the shop called Flowers Frame. Isn't it gorgeous. The big flowers on the left hand side reminded me of the sunflowers in Shirley's pictures, Mo is always excited to see sunflowers, he thinks they are happy flowers and the shine like the sun!! oh to be 6 again!!!! :)

I coloured the frame up with some yummy bright promarkers and then added some purple bling to the little flowers along the bottom. It is popped out from the card base on a bit of silicone, not sure the photo shows it!!!

I decided to stick with a nice bright white card base to keep my card CAS and added a little yellow and blue chalk ink around the edge to match my frame colours. I also added a bit of loopy martha in a light blue card and some bright yellow organza ribbon.

The butterfly is my little magnolia butterfly. I stamped her onto to vellum with some staz-on and then coloured her in some yummy bright colours using my at you copic spicas. I hope the piccy shows how blingy she looks IRL !!

The sentiment is from my penny black wonderful day transparent set, I think the text on it is so pretty.

So thats me for today!!! Please pop over and join in the fun with the Cuddly Buddly challenges, they are just getting started and I know how exciting it is to see people entering when you are just starting up.

Off for a cup of coffee now, I just can't get myself awake this morning!!!!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 58- Nature movie!

Image- Bunny Boo from the Bunny Boo Adventures set
from Tiddly Inks Bargain Basement.

Mornig peeps!!

Wooohoooo!! its Tiddly Tuesday again and time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog!! Still in our movie month mode this week our theme is...
Nature..
and the Tiddly Inkers were given the task of making a 'something' based on a nature movie.

Strangely I knew what I wanted to do staright away for a change!! I even shocked myself!! One of my favourite nature movies from being small (....and Mo's too as he is still small!!!) is Watership Down.
I took the inspiration for my card from this picture of the book...
I masked over my little Bunny Boo and punched out a circle with some frisket and then played with my distress inks to get the autumny sunset type horizon. I used antique linen, scattered straw, vintage photo, frayed burlap and walnut stain (...yeah, i just like getting messy!!!!!) The grass was shabby shutters and forest moss. The moon has a touch of tattered rose in it for sunset.

Once I was done getting messy I took the frisket off and coloured my little Boo in promarkers- sandstone, caramel and cocoa. I went around the outside of him with buttercup to make him 'pop' off the hill.
I stamped on my card base with my gorgeous magnolia swirls and some whisper white SU ink then distressed that a bit too!!! :)

I added a little bit of satin ribbon and another yummy ribbon my mum bought me a while ago, its a bit like plastic but edged in fabric, I love it!!!

So pleeeeease pop on over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog, armed with your fav Tiddly Inks image and a nature movie in mind!! If you need some inspiration go and see what the Tiddly Inks DT gals have come up with, they are rocking it as always!!!!!

That me for this morning, got to get myself ready for work and attempt to get Mo into school mood, he is presently sat next to me snuggling on my shoulder. He is just so ready for staying home now, 4 days to go bless him. In all fairness he just looks so tired, huge snugglies needed I think.
have a fabby day peeps!!

Getting funky and sketchy!!!

Hellloooo!! ok this is a teeny bit late in getting posted as dippy here forgot to schedule on her own blog!! LOL!! I remebered the challenge blog post though so all is good :) :)
Its my turn to post the little roboty card I made using the fab sketch from da boss!!!! if you haven't already seen the original post from our very own Anice here it is......

Its a great sketch to work with and there are oodles of possibilities which the funkettes have been busy posting throughout the month.

You still have a few more days to get busy with one to join in with the fun and don't forget that if you don't own any funky hand papers yet, Anice makes a Funky Freebie each month so you can use that and be in with the chance to win yourself a download to play with for next months challenge!!! :)

So onto my little cutie pie robot! I used the Craft the Year Away papercraft factory and its November Rain colour way for most of my card, and sneaked in a little bit of the fabulous cog paper from the Funky Seasons cd.

The little teeny cog at the bottom of the flap is holding down a cute little surprise down there....

Awwww and here he is on a cute little springy thingy so he just pops out at ya when you open the flap. (Needless to say, Little mo loved this card and promptly stole it!!!!!)

I made the 'Have a robotastic birthday' paper ribbon in the workspace part in Craft The Year Away, its so cool, and I love that you stll don't have to worry about what colours to useas Anice co-ordinated them too when she did all the designing, she is sooooo smart!!! I added a bit of black ink to everything and hey presto!!!
So, please come and join in the fun this month, we love to see your creations. All you need to do is get busy with your funky hand papers or the freebie I mentioned earlier and then add your take on Anice's sketch.

Right, now I am off to run to my crafty room and take a piccy of the card I have made for the new sketch over on the Fetch A Sketch challenge blog...back in a bit.... :)
