Tiddly Inks challenge #223....Succulent colour palette

Dies- Lawn Fawn scalloped pop up box card.

Morning all!!

It's time for the Tiddly Inks March challenge and some colour inspiration fun from the amazing Seeds Design colour palettes again. This Succulent Hues colour scheme is just perfect for some spring fun!!
(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you MUST use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

Aren't those colours just divine???

I just had to play with my Lawn Fawn pop up box die, I really do love a make with a bit of pop and fun and these are just great for adding in those little extras in the little layer parts.

Squeeeee!! it really did just turn out so cute!! I paper pieced her little party hat and skirt with some scraps I had left from cutting out the box layer papers, I do love a double sided paper! these ones are from my stroke only MME 6x6 paper stash...I will cry actual tears when they run out so using every little bit is a winner for me. I even used some for the cute little banner pennants on the back panel.

Right, I need to get a cuppa!! my workout is done for the day and there's just the school run to do and pawsy peeps to walk and I might just get out to my little crafty room for a play.

I really do feel like I am coming out of the fog of grief for my Dad now. I will ALWAYS feel his loss greatly but the tears are turning into smiles more and more when I think of him instead of a snotty mess so I am taking that as a win. But my oh my, do I wish you all knew how amazing he was. He was simply just the very best.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xx

Stars....

Image- Stars.
Background and banner paper- Moon Baby.
other stamps-
Lawn Fawn Upon a Star.
Dies- Memory Box stars.

Hi everyone,

I'm nipping in today with a little shadow box card using the beautiful image, Stars.

And I've got to be honest, it's based on me, gazing up to those stars and hoping to catch just a glimpse of where my Dad would be up there. Sunday's are really quite hard for me still because that's the day Dad Facetime's us all and I miss it so much it hurts in my tummy. I am though, forever grateful to of had a Dad that meant so much to me that the loss I feel now he is gone is real and I can feel it so deeply, like so many, many others that knew him. We are all at a complete loss. I am finding crafting away quite difficult at the moment and I am a little under the weather today too, but it really does lift my spirits up when I can make a little something like this inspired by Dad than nothing at all.

The gorgeous paper on the background and the little banner is the star background paper that comes with the Moon Baby image. I adore it and knew it would be just perfect for my little pair as they gaze up to that heart.

That little heat embossed heart glows in the dark and it looks so super sweet but I just cannot get a photo of it!!!

Thank you so much for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxx

Sprout.........

Image- Sprout.
Hello peeps,

On Tuesday 5th February I very suddenly lost my amazing Dad. I am so heartbroken but my amazing friends in the cyber world have so rallied and so lifted my Dad up in their love, thoughts and prayers that this weekend I really felt I needed to make a card to say thank you to them all.

I used the super sweet little Sprout. She has long been one of my favourite images Maurie has drawn so it was a great comfort to me to colour her up and fussy cut her out for what I needed. Luckily I have her in rubber too from Stamping Bella so I could use the matching sentiment for the little banner.

This is how it opens up...

Tiddly Inks challenge #222....ATC Fun!!

Morning Peeps!!

It's been such a long time since we had a super fun challenge and this month we decided to get our ATC thang on again!! It's been so long since we last did one but boy oh boy did you rock them in 2010 and 2014 so let's have that fun again!!!!

This months challenge is....
ATC Fun!!
yes! It's time for creating ATC cards (some call them ACEOs).
These little works of art are 2.5 x 3.5 inches so get your cardstock cut and play away!!
(**remember...you MUST use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

And don't forget about the amazing colouring books Christy made. They are perfect for resizing for this challenge!! you can find them HERE.

I used the gorgeous Queen of Hearts for my make.. The red cardstock takes the size of the ATC so you can imagine how much smaller my Queen is but I do adore an ATC make. They are so easy and its such a joy to just colour now and again instead of making the whole card! plus, lets be honest, how easy would it be to make a cardbase at a later date to pop this cutie on??

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Easter Greetings...

Dies- Dienamics Blueprints 3.
Morning everyone!!

I'm in for you today with an Egg-stra cute little make using the new Easter Greetings.

I have an uber soft spot for anything bunny so I just could not leave this super cute one sat on my desk any longer and had some fun colouring it up and making a little card yesterday.

Seriously, just how cute is that bunny???

Easter Greetings
It's soooo fluffy!!!! lol!!!

Well as much as I would love to hide out here in blog land and not do my Tabata workout this morning, I must get off my blubber butt and do it!!! To be fair, as much as I dread starting them every other day, I feel pretty epic once my workout is done. It kinda sets me up for the day and gives my daft little Lou self a pretty good boost to start the day on!!  Mondays always feel a little mehhhhhhh after gorgeous weekend time with my gorgeous hubby and son so today I am determined to keep busy. I have an appointment with ironing mountain, laundry valley and hoover grounds today too!!! lol!!!

Thank you so much for popping in, huge hugs Lou xx

Bath Tub Tilda....

Morning Everyone,

I'm in with my Swedish House Crafts post for you today. I decided to have a play with the newly released Let's Go collection. I really loved making little Epsom salt and lavender gift bag using one of the bags my Magnolia Advent Calendar came in!! well, one has to save and re-use lovely things!!!

Bath Tub Tilda is just the sweetest little image and I decided to stamp her, mask her up and then use the stunning Vintage room door behind her as the bathroom door.

I added a little glossy accents to her bubbles to give them that lovely floaty bubble kind of look, so pretty. I stamped out 2 of the little perfume bottle stamps and cut around them to decorate the bottom right corner of my gift bag.

They look so sweet. For the top of the bag, I used a Magnolia Lace DooHickey die from my stash and the die cut the gorgeous little crossed keys from the Lobby Accessories die set. I cut them twice, once in kraft card and then once in my design paper so I could use the little negative cut hearts from the tops of the keys to sit on the centre where the keys cross over.

The Maja Designs Christmas Seasons 6x6 pad had to be used again!! I absolutely adore it and it's always worth remembering that sometimes Christmas papers are not just for Christmas use!! they are just so beautiful.

And here is a side view of my little gift bag. I so wish you all had scratch and sniff screens so you could smell the lavender, its gorgeous. This would be such a lovely gift for someone who is moving into a new home and will need a good soak for their muscles after all the moving of boxes!!!!

Right, time for me to get off here and get a wriggle on. Monday mornings always feel a bit slow and then kapow...they've caught up with me and I'm a hot mess!!! he he he!!!! Have a magical day everyone.
Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxxx

Feed The Birds...

Image- Feed The Birds.
Morning all!

I'm popping in today to share my latest Dream Team creation and this week it's one just for me.

This beautiful little Feed The Birds image made me think of my Grandad. He absolutely loved robins. So I made this just for me to add to my Memorydex. And that little sentiment is such a perfect reminder for us all.

Who could resist this cuteness??? ...
Feed the Birds
Right, I need to get a wriggle on. I have an appointment with a workout DVD and torture before I can get on with my day!! lol!! but, there's only one person who can sort out and tone my ass and that's me so it's time to suck it up and get on with it!!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xx

Sleeping baby cuteness....

Stamp- Sleeping Baby Tilda.
Papers-Maja Designs Christmas Seasons 6x6 pad.
Wiper Card tutorial- HERE.
Morning everyone.

I'm in with my Swedish House Crafts DT make today and I couldn't help but use that golden oldie by Magnolia Stamps, Sleeping Baby Tilda. I had a new baby card I needed to get busy on since I got lost in all the Christmas festivities and hadn't got it made.I really did lose all track of time over November-December and christmas cards for family and special things that happened in the run up just didn't get cards made for them :(  but I'm trying to make up for it all now Mo is back at school and I feel at quite a loss during the day!

The Maja Designs Christmas Seasons 6x6 pad had some stunning little blue papers in it that were just perfect for what I had in mind, and I couldn't help myself but paper piece with the little scraps I had left from decorating the card base itself.

This type of card is called a Wiper Card. You can find the tutorial I always follow to make them HERE. I've been making them for years since my friend Mich and I used to set each other a Happy Mail card making challenge each month! we had such fun!!

I love them because that little pop up element is such fun when you take the card out of the envelope and it pops up! It was also the perfect size for me to get that super sweet little Gummiapan Button Heart die that I love so much in there too!!

The beautiful tag and lace dies are both Magnolia stamps too. I think they are my some of my favourite Doo Hickeys! Magnolia's dies never get old do they?

Right, I need to vamoose my caboose!!! there is a cuppa with my name on it calling me from the side!! Thank you so much for popping in on me today.

Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Love Cupcake...

Image- Love Cupcake.
Papers- MME 'Charmed' Record It.

Morning everyone! I'm in with a Dream Team post for you again and today I've used some of my pencils practising again on the absolutely delicious, Love Cupcake. She even comes with the cutest sentiment, just look at her!! awwww!! and I've even linked the picture below right to her home in the shop so if you neeeeeed her as much as I did, all you need to do is click on her picture!! wahooooo!!!!

Love Cupcake
The scrummy papers are some MME ones from a very stroke only pad of 6x6 Record it ranges, this one was called Charmed. I so love my little 6x6 MME pads but they are definitely beginning to dwindle in volume now!!!

Now, I'm not going to lie. Today I will mostly be moping around my house making little whimpering sighs at the quiet and lonely feel. Mo is back to school and Scott is back to work and I know already it's going to be far too quiet. I am one of those super daft mummy's that totally misses their people.

So my only plans for today are that dreaded school first school run of the year. I'm going to take a walk with the dogs and try and get myself reset into that term time feel....urgh!!!! and then see if I can't get myself cheered up some!!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Queen of Love Notes, Tiddly Inks challenge #221- Anything Tiddly Goes!!

Image- Queen of Love Notes from Tiddly Inks.
Morning Peeps!!

Happy New year!! and to get it really started, it's time to get those Tiddly fingers crafting again over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. And to ease you in gently, we are doing our normal easy first challenge of the year!!

Anything Tiddly Goes!!
so, create something with any choice of Tiddly Inks image/stamp in a way you love!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you MUST use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I just had to use my gorgeous new little Queen of Love Notes. Oh my gosh, she is too cute! she is one of 3 new little images Christy put out over the Christmas break and my oh my did I have a hard time choosing who to use, I mean....who would you choose from these cuties??? It's sooo hard!!!!
You can get all 3 in one pack or just buy them separately. I adore them all!!!! and I've been practising with those Prismacolors again. I am loving them so far.

The papers are from my 6x6 stash pile that I have actually put on my craft desktop so I work through it before touching any pads this year!! it's about 10" high and full of random papers this pile but I know I'll chug through it quickly!!

I keep meaning to have a go with them on some kraft card but the cold of doom has come back to get me for another round so I don't feel in a crafty mood today...more of a drink hot drinks and whimper occasionally mood!!! romfl!!!!!!

Huge hugs and thank you for popping in, Lou xxxxx
