wahooo for Friday!! I get a date day with Scott because its his Friday off ..... well...when I say date I mean we get to hang out a little this morning and then he gets to take me to the hospital for my ECG ultrasound and then my Picc Line flush and dressing change but hey, at least we get to do it together!! he he he!!!

And..the 30th June has arrived here in the UK so for me it's a squidge of a sad day since Kenny K Stamps it's closing the shop today. I have loved these images for so long. But I am super excited for Kenny and Elena to have a new page of their lives starting with Kenny being able to just roll along with his other business with no worries and Elena being able to channel herself into her gorgeous family..it's a winning situation really as I have all my images tucked cosy in my pooter to use whenever I need to.

Right, I need to scoot!! I need to go pop this little cutie in the challenge over on Passion for Promarkers which is sporting occassions and get me a cup of tea and some breakfast.

Morning everyone!

I'm pootling onto my blog this morning with a kinda sad for me, yet happy post! After years of supplying us with stunning images, Kenny K stamps is closing down. That's the sad bit. The happy bit is that Kenny and Elena are closing to focus on Kenny's new work and their gorgeous little family, what could be a better reason to take a step back? and to thank everyone for supporting them for so many years they are having the best blow out sale I have seen!!

So, the sale is too good to miss! all digital images are just $1 and the clear stamp sets are $3.99!! wowzers right?!!! (all discounts are applied at checkout) so quick! go get them before its too late! the shop closes on Friday June 30th.

I started my love of Kenny K images all the way back in 2010 with Christmas Hottie and Racy Roxie but my absolute favourites are the stunning steampunk images, oooooh I do so love those! and I have been so super blessed to of been GDT for Elena since May this year and to be with them on their last weeks open means so much to me. I feel very honored.

My card today features Brianna Blaster and Col.Macallon. They just go so cool together so a bit of merging fun just had to be had! I am so pleased I have these cuties to stay in my digital image collection forever. Thank you so much Kenny and Elena xxx

well I've had a doozy whoozy of a week with Picc Line problems!! The line had gotten itself a little too far into my heart which made me feel really unwell, taking a breath was so hard and painful so off to A&E I went. It was a mammoth day! 2 ECG's, chest x-ray, a cannula in my finger, full bloods, pain medication, CT scan with another cannula expertly put into a very nervous me in the scan room, PICC line pulled out by 3cms due to it sitting in my heart, PICC line redressed and cannulas removed and sent home all in 6 hours.

And it was ok then.....until I had to go and get it flushed on the medical day unit ( I have to get it flushed weekly with saline and heparin to stop it blocking up). Somewhere in the flushing and redressing the line managed to move back in and by thursday night I was feeling rough again. Luckily my fabulous oncology team had already rung and asked me to go back in for a check up xray so off we went yesterday to get that done! once the results came back my chemo nurses (who I blooming adore, they just rock, like seriously rock) told me that it had slipped back in again and was making me poorly again so they needed to move it out some more. They went to see my consultant who showed them where it was and where it needed to be and they taped it down twice for good measure!! and then re dressed me so I am feeling much better again today!!

What a palava!! he he he!!! right, I'm off to see my grandad today for a couple of hours so I best get my booty moving! thank you for popping in on me! huge hugs, Lou xxxxx

Morning everyone!

Today I am sharing one of my Kenny K stamps makes. I absolutely adore this fabulous steampunk pet bulldog. My little Mo loves steampunk and has been busy building his costume up for a few months now so with fathers day coming up I just had to help him out by making him a super cool gift bag to give his gift to Scott in.

The gears are some metal ones we bought in a selection bag and the rest will be going on Mo's brown top hat that goes with his costume but I thought it would tie in so nicely to put a few on Daddy's bag for him too. I can't wait for him to pop his choice of socks (we always gift socks for mothers and fathers day, its a kooky daubney thing, socks keep your heart warm) when we go shopping for them.

Right, I need to get a wiggle on! Oncology appointment today at 11am.

Morning everyone!!!

I was ever so honoured to win a GDT spot with the KennyK DT over on their Club Kenny K facebook page. The challenge this month, which you can find HERE, is as always Anything Goes but the DT girls and us GDT girls we tasked a 'Spring Flowers' theme.

Well I had to take a Lou style route around this one with my kooky sense of humour! I don't know about the rest of the world but our spring here is swinging between wonderfully warm and then blooming freezing again!! and I am totally blaming it on the groundhog!! he he!!!!

Here's a close up of the blinginess!! because I so love a lil bit of blingy glitter pen, especially on the sheer skirt.

Yesterday I went for my oncology appointment. It's all good news and all a bit of a rush from here on in because my Chemotherapy starts next Friday (21st)at 10:30am!! And my hair, well it needs to go sooner than we thought...Like next friday night/saturday before my blood count has a chance to dip and an infection can have a party if my head gets nicked during the shave!!! But, its all good peeps because at least I don't have to have it done this weekend and I won't get mistaken for a huge Easter Egg!!!

The side effects are always a wonderful thought....errrr......!!! lol!! but the plus points are I am clearly half mortal so that's good!!!!

But in true Lincoln Breast Unit style, they were explained fully and fabulously. I'm super pleased I ordered my lovely hats because they arrived yesterday. I love the little doodled animals ones my Little Mo chose for me! they are just too cute!

I also got a wonderful big snuggle from my wound nurse, Charlotte, who saw me in the corridor and said it was lovely to see me. Honestly, that was just magic. I feel so blessed to of been cared for by this amazing team. It really has set me in good sted for kicking ass!!!!

Right, I need to get a move on because today I have my Zoladex injection into my tummy, lots of bloods to be taken an my BP to be checked....errrrrmmmm..I think that might be a bit high!!!!!

Morning all!!

its gone all quiet in the house, Pancakes have been made and schnaffled up by pancake nappers and the Little Man has gone off on the school run with Daddy so I have got 5 mins before I run myself a puddle of a bath to have a very careful wash in (..oh how I dream of lovely bubbly baths and luxurious soap bars ...alas...not allowed those so puddle of a bath it is!!!).

Yesterday I was beat after a super fun day on sunday ( by beat I mean I woke up and could swear a 10 tonne train had driven into the right hand side of my body in a big way...36 holes of mini golf when you are right handed and just had 3/4 f your right breast removed probably wasn't my best thinking but it was uber fun and totally didn't hurt at the time...!!!!). Scott, who is working from home for a couple of weeks, made me rest....mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

So I was wombling around facebook and I saw the Kenny K feb challenge still had a little time to run and I thought ooh perfect!! an escape from the doldrums! so I printed out my Map Kid image and made a card for the Little Man who is going to France on a school trip for the week soon (...........unless mummy can think of a really really good excuse for him not to go!!! bwah ha ha ha!! but he is excited about it so the mummy big girl pants of hiding her fears have been on sonce he brought the letter home....sigh....!!).

I included a few little tags I cut out from the DP stack I used to make the card, I wrote the date he is going on one of them (...you know..just to torture myself a little more everytime I look at it!!! bwah ha ha ha ha!!!!).But I do so love this image, it so reminds me of Bation lying in the attic reading the Neverending Story so I inked some clouds on the background of the image mat so the little guy looks like he is travelling off into the book.

Right a bath is calling me. No deodorant or soap for the last 2 weeks is reallllllly beginning to make me feel yuck now!!!!! to the point where you rinse yourself with your flannel and water, being very careful not to drip any water on your dressings and then sniff yourself afterwards and still feel like you smell sweaty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well!! hopefully not much longer of this to go! its results day tomorrow at 3:45pm so I am going to ask my consultant a few questions (...mainly when can I use soap and deodorant again and when can I get back to walking dogs please?!!!!!!!).
