Kady...

Images- Kady.

Good morning all!! it's Lou in with a post for you today using the cutie pie, Kady.

I had a card to make for a special little lady who is going to become a big sister soon and she is so excited!

For this inside, I used the bunny rabbit from Bronte Bits. I did a larger pink one of her and a smaller pink one for her new brother. This is the absolute joy of digital stamping!! you can get just what you need by resizing and a horizontal flip so they looked right at each other on the pop-up bit, too cute!!!

Right, I need to scoot! we have book learning to do today and I was sneaking in here whilst the little guy had a shower to start his day but now he's down so I need to shake a leg and get my 'we can do this' hat on for learning!!

Have a magical Monday everyone. Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Peeking Sloth....

Images- Peeking Sloth.
Good morning all!!

I hope you are all waking up to a magical monday!

This morning I decided on having some good old merging fun with the super cute  Peeking Sloth. I just adore him. His sleepy, happy little face just makes my heart feel happy! and he is a good start for a monday when you aren't quite feeling up to speed and trying to teach your little guy trigonometry right??!!!!

That gorgeous cloudy sky is from Laura. I positioned it so that those dreamy clouds were just above his head. Then it was onto that lovely wall for him to peek over. The wall is from the stunning Autumn Entrance set.

I really enjoyed making this card this morning so I hope it makes you all smile!

Halloween bundle of fun!!.......

Morning peeps!!

I'm boo-ing in with a make for you today featuring the gorgeous Halloween Bundle instant download. You wouldn't believe the variety of bits that come in the download. I had the best fun putting a few different bits to use on this card.

I loved the little coffin and balloons! the coffin was just perfect for tucking behind my layers and then the little balloons popped up on some foam were just magical for some dimension.

And then there is the just-so delightful Black Cat Tilda from the Magnolia stamps Halloween pop up. I also masked her off so I could use the little window and the distressing style stamp on my image piece. I LOVE them!!!

The last element I just had to get on my card was the black cat potion label! I couldn't believe how perfectly it went with Tilda! too cute! I added a little glossy accent on to the top of that to make the bottle a little bit more 'real'.

Thank you for peeking in!! Huge hugs Lou xxx

Pick of the Patch...........

Images- Pick of the Patch (pumpkins)
Moon Baby (star background)
Hello all!

It's proper rain doom and gloom out there today so I decided to take a little spin with my polychromo pencils and the super sweet new Pick of the Patch image from Mo's Digital Pencil. But, I took a spin on my image choice again (...well, actually my little guy chose it as normal but I decided which image of the 2 gorgeous ones in the set to use!! lol!!!).

You see, I LOVE pumpkins. I do not know what it is about them but they just make me smile inside from ear to ear and of course, I love the taste of them too!!! so, I went for using the bonus image in the set. I decided to use the pumpkins on the hay bale.
Pick of the Patch

Isn't the set so sweet? That little peep image will be my next make I promise!!! she's too darling to miss out on fully!!

The sentiment I used on my card is from my stash of MFT stamps. I think it might be my most used sentiment stamp ever, I just love it!!

Right, I'm going to go and deep condition my hair. I swear it's grown at least an inch this week! It's bonkers!! so I'm going to treat it to a lovely deep condition session and then have a bath. I've made myself some flaxseed gel today so once I've finished soaking my bones to get warm, I'm going to give that a try!

Schoolgirl Zombie...........

Hello everyone!!

Well, in the event that I don't get so excited about the card I made for my Dream Team post tomorrow and share it today because I just can't wait...Nope...wait....that's just what I have done!!! but she's sooooo cute and I had so much fun with it!! so....I'm sneaking in with a post for you today using the terrifyingly gorgeous Schoolgirl Zombie.

And her sentiment!!! oh my days!! It's just perfect for a Monday! I couldn't help myself but make a funny little verse to go inside too! It had to be funny and zombie-themed so this is what I came up with...

I love it!! I've put it on my desk out in the crafty garage/ Little Mo Momelearning zone to keep me going tomorrow! I already know I'm going to be spent in the morning before I even get anywhere because its 5:41pm now and I am heading to bed already! I am exhausted after girly time took it's a toll on me this week.

I have new meds for it and am being referred to the hospital to see what they can do for me. I am having my bloods done on Tuesday too to check my haemoglobin levels just in case they are low but I think they'll be ok you know.

Right, my duvet is calling me! I'm going to listen to my body and go catch that train to the zzzzzz's!!!

Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xx

Urban Tilda...

Doo Hickey 22 set.
Morning peeps!

I'm in for you today with my Swedish Housecrafts DT make of the month and I have to say I absolutely enjoyed making this one. I just had one of those 'Let's really explore the whole of this stamp set' moments!! I LOVE those moments!!!

I took my inspiration from the stunning Magnolia stamps Urban Art stamp kit. It really is the most perfect set. Of course, you get your beautiful Tilda but then included in the set are these awesome little 'filler' stamps. I love how the little date stamps popped up on foam worked so nicely on this one...

I love that little butterfly from the Doo Hickey 22 die set too. Oh my, this die set! When I first got it I thought How am I going to use these little bits together? but it's a really good one!!!

And then that larger ticket from the stamp set again, on this one below...

I teamed that up by cutting out a few layers of the Doo Hickey 22 flower in both sizes. I scrunched them up and inked them to distress them and then carefully unfolded them and layered a few together for each flower, holding them together with a mini brad.

Then I just had to use the tree, flowers and bow from the die set too. With those delicious Maja Designs Vintage Romance everything just went together so prettily.

Right, I need to scoot! Scott is getting his new shed today and he and Mo are up and ready for it to come so they can get building! but first, they need to empty the old one and get it taken down! Luckily it's another lovely day so we can just plop stuff on the decking! yey!!!......and I am also hoping that some old poop will get taken to the tip too!!!

Huge hugs for you all, have a wonderful wednesday, love Lou xxx

Paul Texting...

Image- Paul Texting.
Hi all!!

ooooooh I love this make!!! I had such a blast doing it today! I've gone for a good old Mo's Digital Pencil golden oldie, Paul Texting.

I really do love a golden oldie and the magical thing about digital images is that you can size them exactly as you want for your project. So I was able to print him just the right size to fit onto the Lawn Fawn reveal wheel card base piece I had cut out for him.

Now, I have to be honest and say I only have this many Copic ciao pens...

Yup!! that's it!! and I've had them for almost 14 years!! but they still work and have never been refilled or anything like that...though my colourless blender has run out totally now. I am going to build up my favourite colour combos of these though as the new promarkers just don't do it for me anymore. My favourite colour blends are no longer available and they run out shockingly quick now, which is such a shame because they used to rock my world.

But for so little colours in my Lou arsenal, I absolutely love how this came out, I made the image the focal point of the card with that fun little spinning element which is really perfect for 'jazzing up' a male card when you can't add the normal tonne of Lou floof of flowers and butterfly goodness!! he he!!

Thank you so much for popping in, Huge Hugs Lou xxxx
