Make Lemonade...

Image- Make Lemonade.
Morning all!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this month it's one of my absolute favourites.....our theme this month is...

Anything Goes!!

So let your creativity flow with any of your Tiddly Inks images!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I decided to use my super cute little Make Lemonade image. She comes with the best sentiment ever and it's too sassy not to just make a card with it in mind!!! I really enjoyed sitting and making my card. Those gorgeous just kind of stepping into autumn colours of my papers and the layers and tearing was just sop relaxing and fun.

Her pitcher, lemons and sunglasses are all glossy accented but as always....I am an epic fail on the taking a photo of that effect-ness!! bwah ha ha ha!!!

Right, I need to stop waffling on. Rads is a 8am and it's the last day of the holidays for my little guy before he returns to school tomorrow.

Sticky........

Image- Sticky.
Morning everyone!

I'm in for you today with a little bit of a christmassy creation! I am totally blaming my christmas obsession at the minute on our gorgeous Elin who posted a picture of one of her WIP's the other day and got me feeling all festive!!!

But its ok, because Sticky came to the rescue when he plopped out of my printer and made me smile the whole way through colouring him! My friends little boy is teething right now so I tried to give sticky that kind of blotchy ouchy cheek look as he chomps down on that candy cane to get those teeth through!!!

My radiotherapy is a late one today at 11:30am! I am used to being there quite early so I've got that 'mmmm, I've forgotten something feeling' at the minute!! so I'm just having a little bloggy womble while I am waiting for my omeprazole tablet to settle in so I can have some breakfast....it sounds like their is a fully awoken after hibernation bear in my tummy right now!! he he!!

Yesterday Scott took us to Meadowhall for an almost back to school treat for Mo. He had a £10 build a bear voucher to spend and some Lego store pennies so off we went. We had the most wonderful day just looking around, Mo chose some super fun Lego. He got the halloween set,a new car and a little rocket racoon lego dude keyring. Some sweeties from the amarican sweet shop they have in there just topped his day off, he was on cloud 9 bless him.

I spent some pennies in Lush. The young lady who helped me was completely amazing. I was so sorry not to catch her name but she had a beautiful blue columella piercing and long brown curly hair. I needed some advice on some products to help my scalp get back into a good place for growing my hair well. She helped me to find a beautiful shampoo bar. Then it was onto finding something to help me relax more at night as I continue with my recently started radiotherapy and she showed me 'Sleepy' which smells just fabulous. Mo was most happy to hear her advice on the Eskimo bubble bar he loved as he normally gets a bath bomb but loved the look of the Eskimo bubble bar!! He's most looking forward to using it later as we were too sleepy to use it last night!!.She very kindly sorted out a sample of 'Roots' treatment too and a beautiful surprise of a soft couer massage bar. I cannot put into words how special this all felt to me, what a wonderful member of staff they have in her.

Right, I can calm the bear no longer!! it neeeeeeeeeeds toast and honey!!!Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Beach Party...........

Stamp- Beach Party clear stamp set from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- MME Notable.
Hi everyone!!

Well, I've had a busy old day of Radiotherapy, Radiotherapy review ( I am feeling absolutely fine so that was nice and quick!!), walked the dog and then it was time for the Eeeeeeeeeeeeevil injection of Herceptin !! I am super lucky though as I have it done at home and the nurse who stays with me for 2hrs afterwards was super nice again. They get the 5 min slow push injection going as soon as they can when they get here so the 2 hrs goes by really quickly. It hurts and is super tender but I have chilled it out with some relaxing crafting fun......and let's be honest....I don't need much tempting to do that when there is Tiddly Ink clear stamp cuteness waiting on my desk for me!!

I didn't get chance to play with it yesterday because my Dad got admitted into hospital with Dengue fever ( he lives in the Seychelles so when he is sick I find the distance really hard to take.) and then My gorgeous Grandad was really poorly too and I kinda melted into a Lou pot of gulpness for the day but Dad has text and is still sfae in hospital and my Grandad has picked up today too so I had no excuses to not get my colour on!!!

And today I had the Beach Party clear stamp set waiting on my desk for me. It's sooooooo cute!! and totally the best thing for taking my mind off my upper right leg where I am super sore!!! romfl!!!

I had a little fun and glossy accented up the little eye bits on her snorkel facemask and I absolutely love that little 'Love you to the beach and back' sentiment too! I stamped it on a Die Namics Rustic heart and popped it out on some foam.

Right, I had better go and get tea on for my boys. We are having a quick tea of sausages, egg, grilled tomato and homemade chips tonight. It's a complete comfort tea for me but I need it for being brave!!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

A bowl of....Jack O Lanterns!!

Images- Bowl of.
Morning all!!

I'm in today with my Dream Team post and I couldn't resist a little bit of autumn. I got a super cute new Lawn Fawn Shadow Box die and I knew just what I wanted to do with it!!

I do love to merge Mo's images and Autumn Entrance Separated has been a firm favourite of mine for autumn fun since it came out. It has the most fun little autumn elements in it and they are all seperate so you can merge them in whichever way you fancy into your creation.

I just had to merge them into the little Bowl of image. She is such a cute and cheeky little image and I decided that empty bowl just needed a good old filling with Jack O Lanterns!!!!

It's sooooo cute!! I absolutely love that super fun pop of dimension from the little stitched hills.

I am quite tired today after super fun at the Lincoln Steampunk Asylum festival. It was fantastic and Mo adored it. We had to leave because it got very busy very quickly at lunchtime which was too much for Mo but we had had 2 hrs 30 mins of looking at all the fabulous costumes and stalls. Mo has been making his little costume for a while but mine was very much a see what we have and throw it together the night before when Mo said 'You're dressing up too aren't you mummy?' on saturday evening!! gulp!! but it was super fun.

Right, time for me to scoot. It's Bank Holiday monday here in the UK. Scott is off work but busy tidying out his shed for some new wooden shelving as the wooden shelving units he has have all but collapsed and are surviving on precariously placed wooden props to hold them up! good old aldi had some plastic storage shelves on offer so he has bought a couple of those.

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xx

Tiddly Inks Fun Animals dog..........

Sentiment- MFT You have my heart stamp set.
Papers- Happy Day! from pebbles.
Hi everyone!!

I've had a busy morning! Radiotherapy session number 2, dog walking, bloods done at the Drs surgery, car taken back to Scott and then a bit of baking because Mo 'neeeeeded' mummy cupcakes!!! so I've only just had chance to schooch on up to my craft room and have a much needed relax making something Tiddly Inks as I love to on a tuesday!!!

I couldn't resist that super scrummy Tiddly Inks Fun Animals set again, they just have that Christy Croll whimsical yumminess to them that I adore and I have some Birdie Brown MFT stamp sets with such cute sentiments on that I knew the 'you're pawsitively awesome' one would be just right for this cute little dog!!

Radiotherapy has been ok for my first 2 sessions. Yesterday I had an all lady team and today I had an all men team but it doesn't worry me one bit. They were super sweet and asked me if I was ok with an all male team with it being so new to me. I thought that was so lovely of them. But....I am used to get my boobs out for all sorts of people now so I was all good with it!!!!!! the most time taken is when they are lining you up for your treatment and then my actual dose is over in 2mins and 30 seconds!!!

Right, I am going to try and squeeze in another make of something! not sure what yet but I'll just see what grabs me!!!! thank you for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxx

Arabella's 1st birthday........

Image- Anton and Cissy.
Papers and flowers- Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box.

Morning everyone!

I had a special 1st birthday card to make for my niece Arabella so Anton and Cissy was just perfect for the job.I love how I can get Tyrese and Arabella on the card in one perfect image from the shop! yipeeeeee!!!

It's such a blessing to have Maurie's images at times like this because I so love to make their cards personal and it's super special to have the images to be able to do that.

And of course, those stroke only papers and flowers from my Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box were still sitting there on my crafty desk so I had to use those too!! he he!!!

Today is my first session of radiotherapy. I'm a bit nervous about it but it's going to be over so quickly I bet I don't even get chance to bit a lip with nerves! I have a little chat appointment first and then the actual deed of rads but by 10:15am it should all be over and I shall be making my way home. Luckily I have Scott and Mo coming with me for this first one so they can be my big girl pants for me!!!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Cause I love you Tilda........

Romantic Lace Doo Hickeys.
Memory Box Butterfly Delights.
Papers and flowers- Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box.
Morning all!

I've been for a lovely walk with my BF's pawsy peep and now I've got some time t blog away my latest make.

This card is for my fabulous MIL. I wanted to do something a little different and super special with some of my scrumptious Magnolia bits for her and my little Lou head cogs were ticking away with a tutorial that I have used many times and still adore by Dawn Griffith, the shadow box tutorial. It's such a wonderful little card because of the depth in that little window piece.

I put my own spin on the base card pieces by using my new Recipe Card Doo Hickeys with the Dream Tag Doo Hickeys for the cut out window! super yey because it looks sooo cute!! I used the cut out part of the Dream Tag to write our message on for the back piece with a few of the little hearts from my Romantic Lace Doo Hickeys glued on along the bottom (....I don't know why this lace die is retired, its truly a stunner with those little magical hearts).
I fussy cut my little Lovely Emojis Cause I Love you Tilda out and then popped her out on some foam so she stands out. I paper pieced her little heart in her hand with a scrap of the paper left from the card base and then sparkled it up with some glitter before glossy accent'ing it for extra pretties!! then it was onto some hold gently, use very carefully flowers from Mary and Andrea over at the Ribbon Girl.

Swoooon...how I love these little flowers!! they came in my Luxury Maja Sofiero gift box that my beautiful friend Wendy got me for my birthday.

I added a couple of strips of a grass die around her feet but you can't see them too well in the piccies, you can just see them inside the window on the piccy above and then I used a couple more scraps of the paper to cut out some little butterflies with my Memory Box Butterfly Delights die.

Right, time for me to scoot! I have some bits I need to do today (....mainly finishing off undercoating my kitchen, hoovering and steam mopping but I can make it sound exciting by saying I have some bits to do!! lol!!!). Thank you so much for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Fairy Wishes.....

Image- Fairy Wishes.
(I used 0.75 size)
Pens- Promarkers.
Morning all!!

Well I've been busy this morning since I got up but I'm just getting a few minutes now to sit and get some me time and catch up on the old bloggy posting!! and I am so excited today because I've really been sitting on my hands since monday to post this make!! he he!!

I am so excited to be on the MIC team and even more excited to see Krista's images coming into the store! (oh my!! the squeeee's from me can probably be heard worldwide everytime Zoe tells us there's more coming!!!!!!!) and then on monday morning I woke up to see Zoe had done a live video using Fairy Wishes and covered colouring transparencies within the image ( like her wings and little skirt) and I just had to have a go right away!!

I had a blast colouring her up and then I had just the most perfect little chippies too go with her!! the Mini Dragonflies tinklings are just way too cute!!! I coloured them up and splodged some glossy accents on to pop them out even more....ooooh I love them!!

Here is a little piccy of them a bit closer up...swoooon!!
I can never get sparkle to show when I take a piccy from a distance but it's a little better cropped in!

Right, I need to get moving! We need a little walk before we have lunch so I'm going to do that now. I am slowly getting back to being me and moving around some more now my legs and feet aren't quite so sore and swollen!! it feels so nice to be able to schmooooze around without feeling 100 yrs old already!! he he he!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks Fun Animals bunny cuteness...

Sentiment- Love and Smiles from YNS.
Papers- MME Noteable.
Afternoon all!!

I was so going to post this card earlier but then Mo and I went for a lovely walk with my BF, found another BF on the way round and had a lovely little play at the park before returning home...by which time a small Mo was hungrier than a bear so our first job when we got in was lunch!! Now the bear cub has been fed and is chilling out with 30 mins of TV while I catch up on my bloggy!!

I couldn't wait to play with this new set from Tiddly Inks today. The little animals are so cute (Mo and I call them Funimals instead! he he!!!!) I chose the gorgeous little bunny since I have 2 of my own and I adore them. The little sentiment is one from one of my YNS stamp sets and it just went perfectly with this card because I am going to give it to Scott. (.I often wonder if he gets bored of getting little cards from me all the time but hey, he is just rather fabulous and deserves to be told so!!!).

We don't really have much else planned for this afternoon at all. My new Doo Hickey 15 Sail Away set has arrived in the post from Suha over at Swedish House Crafts so I am going to have a little look at those over a nice hot cuppa with a couple of biscuits.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Shoulders boy and Look Ma Girl....

Images- Shoulders Boy C.
Morning everyone!
It's Lou in with a post for you today and I've been busy making a birthday card for one of my amazing BF's mini peeps to give to their Daddy for his birthday.

Her little boy has the most beautiful curly hair so Shoulders Boy C was just perfect to get the right effect for his hair and her little girl has totally rocked the riding a bike without stabilizers thing this week....I mean like take the stabilizers off and she was gone straight away!! and I was super lucky to see it all happen too, so special.

So I really wanted the card to reflect all those elements...thank goodness for Maurie and her amazing images because I knew where to head right away!!

I'm not sure what me and my little guy will be up to today yet. I've got some swelly legs and feet and my BP is a bit pants so I need to ring the Dr to see about getting my BP meds sorted and a but of a diuretic tablet to sort out the swelly legs and feet!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxxx
